The camera shows Sarah Lynn standing in a room with a white-tiled floor and white-painted walls. In front of her is a staircase and at the top of the stairs is a black throne.
Sarah Lynn: Ever since I met my boss I’ve seen her sit on that black throne. She has told me and other members of The Diamond Mafia Brand that she has that throne because she’s our queen. She has told me personally on many occasions that in her opinion one queen isn’t enough. She wants a very hard-working second in command. She says that she is monitoring my progress very carefully to see if I’m the right one for the job. Looking at the throne I think it would be an honour to sit right next to her. It’s a moment that I want and I will make it happen. I will prove myself to her when I defeat you, Aaron.
Sarah Lynn stops talking for a few seconds.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron I don't want you or anyone else to twist because my endgame is still what it has always been since day one of me stepping into a wrestling training school. I am in this match to become the champion that I was born to be. Ever since my first day in wrestling school, I've been groomed for this moment. Everybody who watched me train said that I was a wrestler who deserved the next big contract and that I was a champion waiting to happen. Aaron if the everyone who I met way back then saw you, they would be sick to their stomach. You wouldn’t have lasted five minutes in the wrestling school that I was in,
Sarah Lynn laughs.
Sarah Lynn: Just like you wouldn’t have lasted five minutes in the training that I’ve got to do as part of The Diamond Mafia Brand. In my world, Aaron failure isn’t an option and I’m going to prove that you really don’t belong here or anywhere.
Sarah Lynn stops talking for a few seconds.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron do you know why there aren’t any other members of the Diamond Mafia Brand in WWH? It’s because I told them I wanted to do this on my own. On the day that I said that they all looked at me and they nodded. Every single member took a step back because they knew that I was determined to prove myself. Aaron the second the bell rings and our match begins you’re going to understand that I do have heart, passion, and dedication not just for WWH but for professional wrestling as a whole. This is a match where you’re going to have to kill me in order to win it and I don’t think that you’ve got what it takes to be sick enough to try to kill me. This is based on the fact that I’ve noticed that you’ve lost a few stops since you and I were in a Tag team Match a couple of Ascension episodes ago.
Sarah Lynn lowers her head and then raises it.
Sarah Lynn: Do you remember that match, Aaron? It was the one where before it, Chris Matthews and I were able to meet and we trained together and talked to each other. We had chemistry and we were able to use it to pick up the victory. During our talk, he discussed how to lower your ego and from what I’ve seen since going into this match Aaron it’s never recovered. Right now Aaron you’re at your weakest point and that makes you an easy target for me to defeat. Aaron, I want to remind you of the fact that on the last episode of Ascension, you lost to Jacob Striker, that loss backs up my point.
Sarah Lynn looks up at the throne again.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron I want to tell you a story. Every time that I look at a specific person in here I see pain, and suffering I see a desire to kill. To be honest it scares me because I know that the specific person would do whatever it took to do their job. The reason why I'm telling you this is because I now understand their perspective on life. I need to have those same eyes. I need you to believe that I’,m willing to do anything with no limits in order to get the job done. You need to fave the most ruthless Sarah Lynn that has ever existed and that is exactly who you’re going to face. Aaron, I need to go into this match with a mindset of being willing to put my body on the line in order to get the job done and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I need to admit the fact that I’m going to feel the pain that I’ve never felt before. But I’m going to fight through it and get back up. Aaron I am destined to be the one who dethrones you and becomes the new WWH Underground Championship. I want the bounty money that’s on you and I want to be the one who ends your career in WWH because I know for a fact that when you’ve lost everything you really won’t want to show your face in public ever again.
Sarah Lynn smiles.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron I want to take you back to our days in the asylum. I said that I wouldn’t leave the asylum until after I held a championship in it. For me, this is my chance to end the worst nightmare to ever happen in my life. This match is my chance for a new beginning in my life and that’s exactly what I want. Aaron for me I don’t want my wrestling career to be known as the woman who was at her best when she was in an asylum. No, I want my legacy to be about the fact that I really did go through a lot in an asylum and I overcame it all to become a much better wrestler and reveal my true potential. That’s the difference between us Aaron I know for a fact that there’s more for me to do in wrestling while you’ve got no desire to do anything in it at all.
Sarah Lynn looks around the rest of the room, she then looks back at the camera.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron another difference between you and I is I don’t need to steal money. I don’t need to run up huge debts. I’m a very hard worker and that means that I earn it. Despite the people who I hang around expecting me to, I don’t play dirty, I stick to the rulebook. Fortunately for me, a lot of them only say the words “By any means necessary.” Which means anything goes. Aaron, you better be ready for a fight because this really will be one that you don’t forget. You and I were destined to have this match and now that it’s here I’m going to make sure that it’s something really special. Isn’t it funny that I’m promoting it, wanting it to be a match that really changes the world for both of us meanwhile you Aaron are just treating it like any other Sunday? That’s because of how lazy you are. You treat every single day that you’re part of professional wrestling as a joke. I eat professional wrestling, I sleep professional wrestling to the point that a good dream for me is about me competing in a professional wrestling ring. Aaron, I breathe professional wrestling. The moment when I first saw professional wrestling on television I knew that I had to be part of it. Meanwhile, the best that you can say is you were forced into it. In this world, there is no being forced into anything that you don’t want to be part of. Aaron, I would go as far as saying that you’re a coward for not standing up for yourself. If you really wanted your life to go in another direction you would have believed in yourself more and followed whatever dream you had.
Sarah Lynn stops talking and takes a deep breath.
Sarah Lynn: I remember the day that I told my family that I wanted to be a professional wrestler. They looked at me like I had two heads. They thought that I was crazy for wanting to be involved in it. The difference between my family and yours Aaron is they respected my decision and they supported it. They knew that they wouldn’t be able to change my mind and send me on a different path that suited their image of me. Aaron, I remember the day my trainer told me that I was ready to compete on a trainee show. I went home and I told my parents that I was going to have my first match in front of a crowd of friends and family. They looked at me and they asked how they could get tickets to go to the show to support me. I told them they just had to pay at the door. On the night of my first-ever wrestling match in front of the crowd, I saw them sitting front row, I could hear them cheering for me and chanting my name, however, I knew that I couldn’t let it distract me from the job that I had to do.
Sarah Lynn stops talking and thinks for a few seconds.
Sarah Lynn: After the show was finished I left backstage and I saw the other wrestlers and trainees talking to their friends and families who had come to see them, while my parents had already left. Upset about the fact that they hadn’t stayed after the show I grabbed my bag to begin my journey home. Once I got home I asked them why they didn’t stay to see me after the show. They told me that they had spent an entire wrestling show watching other wrestlers and trainees hug their parents before and after matches and that it insulted them that I didn’t hug them. They then continued and said that they had watched the same trainees and wrestlers react to their families clapping and cheering for them and that it got the rest of the crowd into their match so it insulted them that I didn’t acknowledge them clapping and cheering for me, They finished their speech saying that if that was going to be my attitude towards them being there then they weren’t going to watch any more of my matches. To this day I’ve never talked about my family and that’s because of the fact that I’ve had no choice but to keep my days in professional wrestling and my family life separate from each other.
Sarah Lynn stops talking and lowers her head.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron I now want to go further in time, right to the day when I entered the asylum for the first time. When my family found out that I was an inmate in an asylum they made a decision to cut all times from me. As far as they go they don’t have a daughter anymore. That means that The Diamond Mafia Brand is my family and that is a fact that will never change. I will make them feel proud of me. I won’t let someone like you Aaron embarrass me in front of them.
Sarah Lynn raises her head and looks at the camera.
Sarah Lynn: Aaron I want to make a final point about you. I’ve seen you compete in the main event of Ascension. If you were more passionate about wrestling you would be on your way to the biggest prize in WWH the WWH World Championship. When I defeat you it will show everybody that you’re not ready for that opportunity. At the same time, it will open a bigger door for me to become a star.
The camera fades.
