MAIN EVENT
Jacob Striker vs Jenny Kay
Word Limit: 2000 Max
Jacob Striker is living up to this Total Elimination moniker thus far in the new era of WWH. Gaining #1 Contender status in the first show wasn't enough, he had to go dashing Devin Copeland's plan to arrive with a boom. Jenny Kay's track record has been more mixed-- she may have not bested Jamie Austin, the other #1 Contender, but she picked up a victory over the potential-filled newcomer Akari Kaneko. Now, with a W under her belt, she gets a stab at the other officially World-level opponent. Can the nerd-pride power of America's Sweetheart stack up to the Cronenburg of Clotheslines?
SEMI MAIN
Nakita Niles vs Devin Copeland
Word Limit: 3000 Max
Much like Nakita on her debut, Devin didn't quite get the win on his first appearance back-- and both have Jacob Striker to thank for it. He still apparently impressed enough to get a semi-main opportunity this time. Nakita, meanwhile, ascended from her ashes last show to a full on slobberknocker draw with Thomas Bane that was hailed as possibly the match of the night. Will the Soldier Queen rise even further with a W, or will the Epitome of Divinity's bruised ego pull a new level of viciousness out of the veteran?
MATCH FOUR
Word Limit: Each Wrestler On Team Gets 1 RP @ 1000 Max, Or Do A Team Collab RP of 1 @ 2000 Max
Eden DuBois and Gary Black are desperate to jumpstart a tag division. The pickings, however, are slim on who to throw at the Shinigami Foundation, a member of whom stole the show last Ascension-- so each owner went digging for a monster to recruit into this special appearance team for one night only. Eden reached out to the one-time rudo luchadora legend now retired to WWH security, while Gary reached into the Order of the Soulless to recruit Phantom. After all, that metaphorical "they" of the wanted tag division won't come if you don't build it first, right?
MATCH THREE
Sarah Lynn & Chris Matthews vs Skylar Carsons & Aaron Jones
Word Limit: Each Wrestler On Team Gets 1 RP @ 2000 Max, Or Do A Team Collab RP of 1 @ 4000 Max
Chris Matthews and Aaron Jones are now 1:1 as of the first Ascension. A tiebreaker of a singles match would be too soon, though. Now that we know which of the two battle royale finalists are facing for which title, a little more fun can be had with stoking their inner fires and feuds. The singles matches for those titles are still a little bit off, so why not pair each champion with the other's contender for a preview taste of what Mankind Divided might hold?
MATCH TWO
Christy Winters vs Abby Evans
Word Limit: 1000 Max
Christy got a giant opportunity last card: facing one of the #1 Contenders for the World title. She didn't slack on it an inch: it was a hard fight, but she surprised a lot of people when she beat Jamie Austin. While facing the Abby Evans she knew back in Sanatorium might've been a downgrade, Abby also shocked a lot of people with how savagely she choked Gothica Skylight unconscious last Ascension. It was a display that made management wonder what a modern version of this match would look like, with both combatants dialing the violence way up now that they're not locked up and forced to take medication. There are rumors that Christy's not seen the last of Eden's surprises, though, even if this week's match might seem obvious.
MATCH ONE
Kirsty Mascara vs Ace Michaels w/ Gothica Skylight
Word Limit: 1000 Max
Gothica Skylight was choked out in an ugly manner with Abby Evans' Psycho submission last show. Management seems to be playing it safe and giving her recovery time, so rather than throw Gothic Nightmare against the Shinigami Foundation quite yet, Ace Michaels is facing Kirsty Mascara this week. Mascara won last Ascension, ensuring that her running bet with Sarah Lynn continues-- the first to lose a singles match loses the money pot, and the other gets the cash. But it's an uphill struggle for Kirsty in so many ways, as Sarah keeps getting booked non-singles. Can she stay in the running for that pot of gold that'll help her off the streets?
