WHO WE ARE
World Wrestling Headquarters is a fictional roleplaying wrestling promotion with no affiliation to real wrestlers or real wrestling promotions. The main headquarters used to be in San Diego, California, but it has now moved up to Northern California, near the coast. There are five fictional cities in our universe where the shows happen: Night City, Medio City, Serenity, Avalon, and Syrene. They echo the Little Dipper constellation geographically. Feel free to use other locations, including clubs, their homes, gyms, et cetera and the support characters to flesh out your RPs.
APPLICATIONS
Once you register, you have 5 days to post your contract up. Whether it's a wrestler or a non-wrestler, you must post a contract or else your account gets deleted. Check that your theme song and picture base/face claim is available before you apply. It's always good to have a back up plan to be safe.
We do allow group accounts, but if you bring in a tag team, please make separate contracts as they will be booked in singles matches too and it's easier on staff.
We accept original characters only. You can have up to five wrestling characters active at a time, if you're able to show us you can handle more than one or two characters. Just don't burn yourself out. If you noshow repeatedly with multiple characters, we may have to talk about downsizing your personal roster.
We are only taking one picbase claim at a time. If the person in question had different looks or eras, something may be negotiable, but the existing claim comes first.
ROLEPLAYING
WWH is a roleplaying-judged type efed, with angled wins and losses allowed if you and your rival get together and request it. Good sportsmanship is valued highly here. If you lose, there's no need to throw a fit about it, it happens. Do what you can to improve next time, and if necessary, ask on how to improve.
On signup I ask you give me a wordcount range and I'll try to honor that, though you may be squeezed in a lower wordcount area if things are tight.
You can use past roleplays and anything on social media (on here, Twitter, and the WWH IC-Chat Discord room) to argue points, but don't completely rely on them please.
No detailed sexual roleplays. Just fade out on the scene if things are taking an adult turn please, it goes against the ProBoards Terms of Service.
Try not to deadline bomb. We all have lives outside of efedding and some of us are busy with work or school, so do your best to not make a habit of posting within 30 minutes before deadline.
Do your best to interact with everyone to push your storylines and feuds, whether it's on here, Twitter, Discord, or the CD board. Things work best when there's effort to put over the stories on all sides.
Make sure your color coding is easily readable. High contrast is best, on this board lighter colors being more optimal. If you don't do this, I'll be nullifying your coding, meaning all effort to do it will have been wasted, and any context info to be derived through it will be lost.
ROLEPLAY JUDGING
The roleplays will be voted on a 20 point system with 4 categories(4x5=20 quick maths!).We give a bonus point to people who do a segment.
RELEVANCE(5): Does the roleplay reflect on what's happened in the past shows? How does it affect their upcoming match against their opponents?
ARGUMENT(5): Do they know their opponent well enough to make valid points against them? Do they know what's going on with them to use in their favor such as social media or past roleplays? Is there a story being built as well in the roleplay? Did they use everything including the other locations within the cities to help further their matches and stories?
ENTERTAINMENT(5): Did the roleplay draw you in? Were you not bored? Did you want to read more? Was the roleplay original and didn't use any sandbagging or direct responding to their opponents(Dystopia only).
FLOW(5): Was the roleplay readable. Was the grammar fine, did everything make sense overall?
