What seems like nothing more than a memory, he was able to find Eden once again. He never really knew love until he had Eden in his arms once again. Edwards's love for her is unmatched, and that's saying something. After it all went down, he was close to the edge of suicide to see her again, but she showed up and pretty much pulled him back. Edwards's eyes widen as it was something that he couldn't believe. It was almost like something out of a dream. Is Eden back, or is this his imagination? Could this be the universe telling him that he has a second chance at happiness? Will everything fall into place where it should be or end in total disaster? Those will be answered at a later date.
The camera zooms into his eyes before it moves away, and Edward is sitting in his cell. The cell wall has one poster. There's a bed which Edwards is sitting on and one bucket. Edward's wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and black sneakers. He leans forward a bit as he put his hands together. He starts thinking about everything that has happened to him but knows that he can't think about that. He has to think about the fight against Orianna Johnson.
"When you think about everything that has happened, you tend to forget the past. I know that's what I'm doing right now, forgetting. Forgetting everything that has happen and move on. The last time I was here, I beat Aaron Jones and showed just how tough I am. That bitch couldn't share the same ring with me."
Sighs. "This will be no different, Johnson. Since everything went down and the inmates escaped, things have gone from bad to worse for this company. Behind the scene bullshit, and somehow Sly became Warden. But what happened? He couldn't take it. Now what? What's happening to everything? Honestly, it doesn't matter to me cause I care about one thing -- winning. You have people in this company that doesn't care about championships as they see it as nothing more than a piece of metal. But people don't see it as I do."
"But that's okay because if they don't, then that's on them and not me. I am what they wish to be, and that's the future of this company. When will that show? Who knows? What I do know is that I'm going to make sure that I show them all when we step in the middle of that ring. I'm going to give them something that they have been dying to see. I'm here to make this company's future brighter and with V dropping the Asylum Championship. Laughs "I guess they need a new champion, don't they? They need someone willing to defend that belt with everything that they have, and I'm the type of guy who will do just that."
He stands up from the bed as the cage door opens. He walks out of the cell and moves down the hall. He looks left and right at all the inmates sleeping and snoring. Nobody else was around, and that's when he heads towards the front door and opens it. He walks outside, and the sky was black and dark. The stars are shining and giving off a glimpse of light.
Jonathan walks down the few steps and goes onto the grass. While on the grass, he walks towards the fence and puts his hand on it. He put his fingers into the holes and took a moment to calm everything down for a bit. He knows that he has to do everything that he can to move on from the pain of the past. He moves back a bit and takes a moment as he takes in some air.
"My scars of the past make me who I am, but those scars that I have will be put on Johnson. In the heat of the battle, I will fight her, and I plan to embarrass her and send her packing." Smiles "I could sit here and think about everything about this match, Johnson. But I know deep down that you don't have what it takes to step in these ropes. Since I finally stepped in that ring again, I knew deep down that I have to go out there and prove something to myself."
He starts to laugh as he said that. "What the fuck do I have to prove? When we fight, Johnson, I'm going to make sure that your ugly face doesn't show up around these parts again. Do you think I give a fuck about you or anyone? Hell no. I care about one person, and that's me."
He walks down the grass with his hand on the fence. He moves towards the steps and sits down on them. He leans forward a bit with his arms resting on his knees.
"I could sit here and wait patiently for this match, but I can promise you that I'm not the type of man to wait to unleash everything that I have on you. For now, you enjoy the few days that you have left, Johnson. September 4th, it's going to be the end of you here forever. You will leave this company with your head down in shame."
The door opens, and we see a figure standing there. It was a woman, but you can't see her face. She leans down and puts her hands on his shoulders, and kisses his neck gently.
"Jonathan, come in. I want to pick up where we left after that night."
"I'll be there in a minute, babe. I need to finish something up here."
"Don't keep me waiting, babe. I missed you so much."
She walks back into the Asylum as Edwards looks at the camera and gets a smile on his face.
"September 4th, the end of your WWH legacy dies."
