The camera shows a guard walking down a dark hallway.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: Hello guard.
The guard stops walking.
Guard: Who said that?
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: Don’t worry I won’t hurt you, I just want to ask you some questions.
Guard: What kind of questions? Also why can’t I see you?
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: First of all, I’m not ready for anyone to see me yet. Secondly, I want to know what’s inside the cupboard behind you?
Guard: You sound like that girl who everyone says disappeared.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: I’m many things but if I was lost don’t you think it would be harder for you to find me?
Guard: I can’t see you so it’s hard enough.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: We can discuss this all day or you can answer my questions.
The guard turns around and looks at the cupboard behind him.
Guard: Any cupboards we have here are used to store extra equipment we need. For example spare desks and computers in case of emergency.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: What about those keys on your belt buckle?
Guard: My keys can unlock cells, cupboards, locked rooms. Why are you asking?
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: Maybe we can make a trade deal.
Guard What kind of trade deal?
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: I’ll surrender myself, go to a cell and all that you have to do is let me borrow some equipment for an hour.
Guard: I could lose my job because it’s against protocol.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: Don’t be silly, I’ll explain that I needed it for a specific purpose.
Guard: What purpose?
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: I can’t say yet, however I can say that you’ll be monitoring me the entire time so nothing suspicious is going on.
Guard: In that case I’ll help you out, but you better live up to your end of the deal and go into a cell.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: You have my word.
The guard unhooks the key chain from his belt buckle and walks to the storage cupboard. The guard puts a key into the lock and turns it. The guard then opens the storage cupboard.
Kirsty Mascara’s Voice: This looks very impressive, I think we’re going to get on just fine. Please follow my voice so you can see where I need all of this lovely equipment so go.
The camera fades.
To be continued.
