Latoya and Nadia lock up, and Latoya gets Nadia in a headlock as Nadia transfers it into a headlock of her own. Latoya throws Nadia into the ropes, and Nadia comes out with a monkey flip, sending Latoya to the other side of the ring. She grabs Latoya's head and locks in the STC.

I appreciate the condolences, Ms. Wilde but it’s okay. Mr. Mason was the better man, the better athlete, the better wrestler…just all around, he was just better that night. No excuses on my end at all.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
As you’re going into Shogun Jonny, you’ve kinda been taking it on the chin with back to back losses. With you facing The War Queen herself, one of two double Champions in the World Wrestling Headquarters, do you think that would give you a disadvantage?
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
Typically, yeah. Lady Luck definitely hasn’t been on my side lately. I mean here I am skidding into this match with such a superior athlete as Ms. Matsuda with two consecutive losses. Things and entities occupying space in my mind…not like there was much room up there to begin with…everything is definitely pointing towards me being at a strong disadvantage. And really, the word “disadvantage” could possibly be a bit of an understatement.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Conversely, the International and Women’s Champion is heading into this match with a huge win over Havoc, a person that you’re no stranger to obviously. She seemingly holds the advantage over you looking ahead at this match, wouldn’t you think?
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
Ms. Matsuda is an advantage all in herself. Her skills, her talents, her work ethic, her sheer will and determination to win – everything there is about the woman IS her advantage. She doesn’t need a win over this person or that person. She doesn’t need to have any kind of winning streak heading into any situation to have an advantage. Sometimes in life you make your own luck and she has definitely made a career out of that.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
The hunger and desire must be burning bright though Jonny.
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
When you look at the two of us – Ms. Matsuda and myself – you’ll see two competitors with the same passions, with the same hunger, with the same drive to be the absolute best there is to offer in this sport. The last time the two of us met in that ring, The War Queen was able to best me and take the International Championship away from me. On that particular night, her drive was just a little more prevalent than mine was. I can’t deny that, I mean the proof’s in the puddin’ Ms. Wilde.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Right.
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
With losing the International Championship to her the last time we met, and with this string of bad luck that I’ve been mired in heading into this match Ms. Wilde, the goal on the top of my list to achieve is revenge. Heading into this match – this fight – The War Queen and I couldn’t be farther apart to be honest Ms. Wilde. You’ve got a pretty comfortable Stephanie Matsuda floating into this fight on cloud nine with win after win in her rear-view mirror. Whereas I’m limping into this fight with a severe case of road rash with more than enough losses in MY rear-view mirror.
This is where revenge comes in.
Revenge for the obvious – taking the International Championship away from the people and me! If nothing else, she’ll pay for that one dearly. Revenge for the fact that she thinks she’s God’s gift to wrestling. And revenge for all of this bad luck. I need this win a hell of a lot more than Ms. Matsuda does, Ms. Wilde. I know that I can beat her. I know that I can get the International Championship back and WILL – for the people! After supporting me through all that I’ve been through lately, the people deserve this win even more than I do!
I’m sure Ms. Matsuda is looking at this fight and looking at me and thinking to herself, “Pfff. I beat this jabroni already. Another easy win” and I can’t blame her for thinking that way. When you’re the caliber of athlete, when you’re the warrior that Ms. Matsuda is, you can and will have the right to have that confidence! She’s The War Queen after all and she has proven time and again that she can do anything and everything that she sets her mind to. She’s been to war multiple times and she’s won virtually every one of them! Whenever she wants something, she’ll stop at nothing to get it. There’s a reason why she’s known as the fiercest warrior known to mankind! And let’s face it Ms. Wilde, we’re going to be on her home turf – right in her backyard! Thousands upon thousands of screaming fans cheering her on with every move!
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
You listed all of those characteristics that make Stephanie Matsuda such a phenomenal force in professional wrestling though Jonny. And as you mentioned about being in her backyard, the amount of adrenaline that will be flowing through her veins with all of those fans supporting her I’m sure will be insurmountable!
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
True. But she’s distracted.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Distracted?
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
She’s distracted. Her mind isn’t solely on keeping the Championships currently in her possession. Her focus is on becoming the World Champion! The Championships she has are just trinkets – additions to her collection Ms. Wilde. Much like the rest of us, she’s using the Championships that she has as stepping stones to the World Championship. The difference between Ms. Matsuda and myself is that every Championship that I’ve ever held on my way to World Championships have meant the world to me. That’s why it hit me so hard when I lost the International Title to her in the first place! When that Championship was around my waist, I represented all of the people all around the globe! No reservations, no preferences and no discrimination! As International Champion, that Championship was the People’s Championship! With Ms. Matsuda – with all due respect to her of course – it’s simply just a stepping stone, just a trinket, just a collector’s item…just another piece of hardware that she’s gathered on her way to the World Championship. No other Championship matters to her but the World Championship. Not a bad mindset to have, but now I have my opportunity to get that International Championship back and make it mean something again!
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
You speak about distractions though Jonny, don’t you feel in the slightest that you may be a little distracted with what’s going on in your mind about Havoc?
KING OF SEXY | JONNY CEDRONE
I’ll admit, I’ve been distracted a lot lately because of Havoc. Everywhere I look, everywhere I turn – there he is. In some form – there he is. It’s been driving me insane…until I turned it into my favor. Instead of fighting it, instead of being afraid to face the demon – I’m gonna use it as a tool to achieve what I want. Use it as an asset in the ring. Sometimes you just have to use your weaknesses as your strengths Ms. Wilde and I’m going to take that distraction and turn it into an advantage. It’s a real roll of the dice Ms. Wilde, but I don’t think it can or will hurt my chances at all. In fact…I think it may be what brings Lady Luck back onto my side. At Shogun Ms. Wilde, the International Championship is coming back home and Ms. Matsuda has no say in the matter.
The camera slowly focuses on Cedrone’s face as a smirk creeps across it while he looks into the distance just off camera. The scene fades to black.

He who follows the bushido way, doing right by the people and reminding me why I choose to try my best doing the same. Having lived the life I have. Running from place to place as a child of Haitian diaspora trying to find somewhere to build a better life for me and my brother. To later being a grown woman sponsored by one of the top talent agencies in the world. I have seen all types of darkness. Know it all too well! Evil and brutality done by those working under the table, where movements are untracked. And scheming and abuse in the highest offices where the powerful can erase their misdeeds through money and fall men. I’m sure everything I’ve seen has partly rubbed off on me to give me this unconventional edge of mine, this dash of fatale noir.
Every woman who possesses Black Girl Magic can make things get ugly if she decides to, but nothing is above the splendour we can show either. That’s why I value a samurai whose armour shines so bright it makes the Fay Noire want to showcase what kind of beauty can come from within the darkness, as an equal to that nobility, instead of being as sinister as some might misinterpret my name to mean.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Geez, Renee, I was hoping to try tricking into picking which out of the three men you were hoping to face, but I don’t think you were trying to describe any of them!
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
Ha, of course not, I’m already happily engaged after all! Besides, that’d just be rude to the other two who I don’t pick! They’re all fine men in their own ways. One is a legendary Hall of Hero in WWH, hoping to gain the accolades that match his status. Another is at death’s door, and wants to leave quite the decor at it’s doorstep to remember him by. And then one with all the potential in the world, whether it is for great good, evil, or something in between is all that remains to be seen.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Awww, I didn’t think you were the type to avoid hurting anyones feelings. Normally, if you get miffed, you can get pretty harsh! Zolton threatened you and told you to look watch over your shoulder!
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
I don’t believe in running people down unless you’re sure you’ll have a match with them, where they have a chance to make you pay for your words and you have the opportunity to back what you’ve said up. Zolton said all kinds of things about how he’d make sure I wouldn’t win my match on the last show and that idle threat, then he didn’t do anything to me as I overcame Becca, who does that reflect worse on?
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
It seems nothing fazes you, but I’ve got to ask the hard hitting questions people have. Do you really think you have what it takes to achieve your lofty goals at Shogun? To achieve your best case scenario out of Shogun, you’ll have to wrestle THREE matches. Doesn’t that give you any nerves?
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
Of course it does, I get nervous just like everybody else, I’m not invincible. I’m definitely not the physically strongest person on the roster. I’m fairly quick, but I’m not the fastest. But you know what? I’m lean and mean, and the best thing I have going for me is my stamina and pacing, which are the best qualities for trying to run this kind of gauntlet! If anyone can do this marathon it’s me! The whole point of magic is to do what seems unthinkable and frightening to try! Besides, do you know what match I wasn’t nervous about? My first title match with Cloud, in other words Stephanie Matsuda.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Oh?
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
It was inexcusable, and nowadays people would think it incomprehensible if they have a short memory. But Cloud wasn’t always the home run hitting talent that she is in WWH today. Even she would admit, beating me and becoming a world champion is part of what reignited the fire in her wrestling career across the globe! See Cloud’s that type of person, her range of performance out of 10 can range from anywhere between 0 and 10, depending on her motivation and focus. My range is between 8 and 10, and sometimes I can kick it into an even higher level. Now I’m sure Cloud would disagree on which of us can break the limits over 10, but deep down she knows the 0 vs 8 to 10 part is true. But this isn’t about excusing my loss, it’s about me coming to terms with what happened, to admit my shame.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
But I’ve never seen you put in an effort you should feel ashamed of!
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
Sure. I performed in a way where I’d be proud of myself as Women’s World Champion and could say I gave the people the show they paid for. Against any other woman, I even dare say I would have retained that night! It was a “good enough” style performance, because I always make sure I live up to my responsibilities as a wrestler and put in the work that I feel gives people a good enough image of what I can do!
But I didn’t put on a performance that was up to the task of me defeating Cloud at her best, I was walking around as if it was impossible for Cloud to beat me. Pure ignorance! I’ll always regret that mistake.
Because it cost me everything. It cost me the Women’s World Championship. And then soon after, while I was still reeling from the loss, my shot at the International Championship became another expense. I have to admit, Cloud’s done great with it all.
Jonae stands up and looks at the camera for Stephanie, as the crowd goes quiet due to her change in demeanor being chillingly serious.
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
But now we’ve had our distance and I’m fully recovered, Cloud. This time, I know you can beat me. I won’t be going to Shogun as good enough to be a champion Renee Jonae. I’ll be going as the most stellar Renee Jonae, one out to beat one of the best in the world.
Jonae sits back down and reassures the crowd she’s all okay with a smile.
🗽THE FAY NOIRE | RENÉE JONAE🗽
And Japan will be the perfect place to make my dreams come true in the biggest night of my career. That hallowed ground of professional wrestling and where my future family in-law are, it means a lot to me, and all my fans will be getting to know all about that too! Just you wait!
Before Dystopia goes to break, Jonae does a comforting Revolutionaries solidarity fist towards her fans old and new as they’ll continue to get to know Renee Jonae in Japan.
The interview opens on an empty chair, in a not dim, but still not well lit room, a man walks onto frame, we only see the lower half of him, but any WWH fan worth their salt would know it’s Vincent, if not them, his voice would surely give it away.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
Just sit right here then?
Some indistinct off camera chattering is heard, as Vincent takes a seat, his face now visible to the cameras. There’s some more indistinct chatter, the camera angle changes a couple times to catch a side profile of Vincent before he begins his ramblings.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
So it’s almost here. Shogun. Right around the corner isn’t it? And now I need to just sit here, and express myself? My thoughts about my upcoming match with Havoc, and the war between The Revolutionaries and Ashes of The Wake? I’m not sure there really is much left to say. I think I’ve made myself just as clear as Havoc what my goals are. We seek to tear each other apart, this on-going feud between us has been off and on for over a year now, and it started when we were both two different men.
We get a few flashback shots of Vincent feuding with Christopher Sabertooth, with no audio and they flash away almost as quickly as they came.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
I was on top of the world, back then, and he took it from me.
We get a quick shot of Sabertooth winning the Affliction Championship from Vincent, this time with audio, but just the announcement of Sabertooth as the winner AND NEW Affliction champion.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
It’s been a long time since then however and I’m a different person now. I’ve grown. I’ve learned that one must keep a balance within themselves, should you fall too far into the dark you risk becoming self destructive, and will end up destroying everything around you soon enough. I learned as much when The Pride fell apart.
The camera focuses closer to Vincent’s painted side.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
But one can’t be all apathetic either. You need to have some bite to you, or you will get walked on. I tried to be too much of a hero in last year's Shogun, and it failed me in the end because I was too worried about playing nice, and keeping to the rules. Now I understand that I can still fight for the side of good, but am able to understand that sometimes..the ends justify the means.
We get a fuller shot of his face and upper chest as he continues his thoughts.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
Where Havoc truly fails is his desire for power. He has to be in control, but what does he seek this power for? All he seems to desire is to increase it. What is the purpose of his power beyond increasing it’s control? If that’s all it is, then his power is meaningless. For what is power with no purpose?
The camera focuses closer now, on Vincent’s non-painted side.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
I am always trying to use what I learn to make changes and improve myself, I understand when chaos must be brought to order and that time is now. I understand chaos must exist, but when it starts to become out of control then something needs to be done.
We pull back again, to the common front shot of Vincent.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
Last week I sent a message, once again putting Nikki Caldwell away. I’m sure you’ll just blame the loss on whatever is going on between her and her brother, none of which is my business. I happen to have a good relationship with my sister, we would never betray one another.
Vincent stays quiet for just a few seconds, letting the camera set the mood.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
I’m happy Victoria finally got her first win, I know this should be about me but I have to give her a quick shout out and hope that it gets her on the winning track, and as we talk about winner, let me congratulate Renee Jonae as well on getting to Shogun Semi Finals. The Revolutionaries had a great night heading into Shogun, we have all the momentum on our side, and it will only continue. I will become Affliction Champion once again, Renee will become this years Shogun, and my sister? Well, I’m sure she’ll land somewhere and keep her new found momentum going.
Another short pause, one has to keep the flow from rambling somehow.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
Havoc no doubt will look down on me as he always does, but every loss I’ve suffered to him will only play into my favor here. He will no doubt look to these victories over me and simply assume it will happen again. Why wouldn’t he? I’ve beaten just about everyone there is to beat in his company, but I haven’t beat Havoc. Perhaps back then I still saw him as something infallible, that he couldn’t be beaten. That theory has now been debunked, ever since Renee exposed him. She showed the world that Havoc can be defeated, that The Nightmare King is not as invincible as he might lead you to believe. Johnny Cedrone has etched his name as someone who defeated Havoc, and most recently Stephanie Matsuda adds her name to that list.. However, I’m afraid it may not be enough to simply defeat The Nightmare King, even in defeat he will find a way to make sure his chaos will continue to spread. In order for him to be truly defeated….
Vincent's eyes focus heavy on the camera in a closeup shot, and his tone changes to a slightly darker, more serious tone.
THE YOUNG LION | VINCENT LYONS JR
The king must die.
A heavy sigh, the camera continues to stay focused on an intense Vincent, as we slowly fade away.

The two listen to the referee and then get patted down and the manager and tag team partner are instructed to leave the ring and then the bell sounds and we are under way. Wright tries to go right at Maggie but she slips under the arms of her larger opponent and turns and peppers her larger foe with a series of punches, but this only makes the hillbilly angry and he grabs Maggie and simply does the most effective thing a person can do with such a weight advantage, and that is toss Maggie clear across the ring. Levi again gets on the apron and starts yelling at the ref, but then Sunny Jim goes over and pulls Levi down off the apron to which Levi clocks Sunny, and that gets Mad Dog to release the hold. Wright goes over to the ropes and then goes outside and stands in front of his manager and Levi starts to back away. Wright lifts Sunny off the mat and Sunny is pointing towards the ring and the fact that the ref is counting to ten, and to be honest I am not sure if the Hillbilly understands that but as he climbs through the ropes Maggie scrambles and kicks the ropes hard hitting Wright's marble sack. We open to the exterior of a four-story building in Manhattan’s East Village area. The camera moves to the interior where we see “War Queen” Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda sitting inside an office across from Dystopia Interviewer, Faith Wilde. Matsuda is wearing a “Cloud Nine Center” t-shirt under an unzipped navy-colored hoodie, with the hood over her head. She sat casually, with her hands in her pockets as her steady gaze lingered on Faith.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Thank you for meeting with me, Stephanie, and inviting us inside what must be such a personal place for you.
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
It is, Faith. This is one of several facilities the Cloud Nine Center has for homeless LGBTQ youth here in the city.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Tell me - what inspired you to take on such a task? There was the Sky Village that was across the street from your home, right?
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
Yeah...that’s an interesting story. Several years ago I rescued twelve children from a man named Joseph who was manipulating them into doing his dirty work. He was a wrestler who ran the aptly named Sanatorium stable. At the time I was a member of that group - a woman lost in her anger and angst. I was consumed by my own insecurities and wanted to hurt as many people as I can. It doesn’t matter what I was angry about - what mattered was that I was on the verge of losing myself completely so I forced myself to leave that toxic environment. But once I was gone, I realized that I was going to leave behind these children who were taken from their own homes by a man who thought he was making his own “family”. He forced these children to commit horrible acts of violence to adults while claiming it was all for “justice”. So Monica’s late sister Brody and I worked together to put Joseph and his wife Alexis away for good. And unfortunately, most of these children didn’t have a safe home to go back to so I took them in. When I reigned with EAW during my time as their Unified Women’s World Champion, I used the signing bonus to purchase the brownstone across from where I lived. I received funding from the city, donors, and hired a few social workers.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
W-wow, that’s amazing! And so how did that lead to you getting into working with homeless LGBTQ youth?
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
When I’m back home in Brooklyn, I like to jog at night or early in the morning - I’m talking about 4 or 5am. Before the world got a little crazy, I used to spend the whole day jogging from Bushwick to Manhattan. I’d spend the day exploring the city, taking in the vibe. I’d dress down so nobody would recognize me and just live amongst the community. One day I came across a couple of kids standing in front of a building. One of them spotted me so I signed a few autographs and took a few pictures. This woman came outside to see what was going on and it turned out to be a director of a homeless youth program. Her name is Heather Roberts. After speaking with her, she revealed to me that her agency was losing funding and it was only a matter of months before they would have to shut down. I agreed to help fund the agency and it was Heather who thought about rebranding in order to use my celebrity to bring eyes to the agency and our cause. That’s when we thought of the name “Cloud Nine Center”.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
It’s a good name. In these trying times, how is the agency holding up?
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
We’ve had our struggles since we had to spend more on resources, but the more successful colleagues of mine had lent their hands towards funding. There are organizations that provided donations, but things are still a little rocky. That’s why succeeding in the ring is so important to me. This reign of mine - double reign has raised my stock with sponsors and the majority of that money goes to the agency. Personally, I’m okay. My wife and I have more than we need. But when you find something bigger than yourself to believe in, it changes everything.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Do you find it as a source of strength in your matches?
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
Most definitely. In this business, you’re not just fighting to test yourself, you’re fighting for survival. The more you win, the more you eat. But I’ve done well enough for myself to the point I can walk away and never work again. Not everyone has that luxury. I want my kids to be strong enough to take on the world, so I have to deliver the same energy, you know?
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
I get it. I’m sure you’re going to tap into that energy when you defend both the Women’s World Championship and the International Championship at Shogun. How are you feeling about defending two titles in two different matches on the same night?
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
Pacing. That’s going to be my main focus. I know Jonny and Renee are going to push me to my absolute limits. In fact, it’ll be the most challenging feat in my entire career. But, I’m three months from reaching the one year mark as the Women’s World Champion. As of this interview, I’ve held the belt for over 250 days. My personal record is 322 days with the JET World Championship - the first title reign of my career. That’s the goal, Faith. Between helping the CNC grow and surpassing my previous success, I have all the motivation in the universe to walk out of Shogun with my titles over these shoulders of mine. It won’t be easy, but then again I didn’t think I’d be holding five championships since September. I know this is the peak of my career. But trust and believe that when my peak will last for a very long time. I respect Jonae and Cedrone, but I’ve already proved that they don’t have what it takes to hold those belts. I guess I’ll have to remind them why. Because when I fight…
Stephanie waves a hand around the office.
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
I’m not just fighting for myself.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWER | FAITH WILDE
Well said. Thank you for sitting down with me, Stephanie.
THE WAR QUEEN | STEPHANIE MATSUDA
Likewise.
The camera fades as the interview ends.

Alex Slayer puts his hands out so that he can be checked first and the referee obliges. Then the referee moves onto Giant Tiger next and Giant Tiger just nods as he places his hands and whatnot in order to be checked and then the referee does so. After a few moments, the referee moves to be near Becca. She starts to growl at the referee and then begrudgingly puts her hands out to be checked. The referee carefully does so, so that they don’t get bitten or attacked in some fashion.

Kinda hard to explain right now, but once I see it from you tonight I’ll know for certain--but good luck tonight. Neither of those two are going to ignore you, or underestimate you. Not after what Tokyo did to Godzilla.
He sighs, not sure what she is talking about--what more does she have to see? It was a simple question. A hand extended in potential friendship, but this is something Josh will have to play close to his chest.

"F8" bleeds into "Rise Cover" by State of MINE and a blue spot light shines on the stage as it is covered with smoke/mist. A moment passes and into the spotlight stands Zolton facing away from the ring. His head lowered, hair silhouetting his face. The chorus flows from "Rise Cover" and he turns and walks down the ramp way. Ignoring the crowd up against the entrance ramp. Mist covers the ring now as he climbs the steps and enters the ring as it fills with blue lighting. He leans in his assigned corner after removing his long leather trench coat.
