A highlight of the past couple of Dystopia is played on the screen, focusing on the Ashes of The Wake in particular. The past couple of shows haven’t been the best for the Double Champion, having been sent to the brink of defeat on multiple occasions due to the precarious circumstances surrounding the situation. Nikki and Havoc along with Jada Blaire have done what they could have against the combined forces of The Revolutionaries and Jonny Cedrone, with Zolton, the Soulless Sisters, Dynamic Duo, Shinigami Foundation, and everybody else falling in the mix. Chaos has ensued on Dystopia, with everybody trying to shift the power dynamic to their favor. Yet, there are some facts that STILL cannot be disputed. Havoc is STILL the WWH Affliction and World Champion. He is STILL the leader of the Ashes of The Wake. He is STILL the dominant force that he has been known to be over the past couple of years in the company. But there is one wrestler-- one woman that stands toe to toe with him to contend for being the BEST in all of WWH. A double champion herself. A WORLD Champion in her own right. And a constant force in the world of wrestling, Stephanie Matsuda.
Despite being in the same promotions for the past three years, Havoc and Matsuda somehow have only faced each other ONE time, one on one. It was Havoc who prevailed at Wrestleworld. Despite all that, Stephanie Matsuda is likely the toughest challenge he has had to face in his time in WWH. And now, with the added pressure of not having been the same unbeatable force that he once was, Havoc looks vulnerable…. Or does he?
The camera pans out from the video highlights of Dystopia being played on a large monitor as a large gathering of people can be seen watching intently. Men, women, and children of all sizes have gathered in what appears to be an abandoned warehouse. The moss on the walls almost has a neon-like essence to it, acting like décor for the rather gloomy warehouse that is acting as the current operating base for the Ashes of The Wake. Amongst all the crowd, is a man sitting at the back of it all, watching with a nasty snarl on his face. He rocks his chair with vigor as the interference caused by The Revolutionaries and every other party that has been involved with his business has gotten on to his nerves. The Double Champion has been put in losing situations, just to shed a negative light upon him. He truly believes the management has been trying their best to demoralize and derail his movement so that the Affliction and World titles can be pried off his grasp. Havoc has a lit cigarette in his hands, and a spiky leather outfit to boot as he props himself off the chair and makes his way through the crowd. His legion of followers would do anything for him-- Yet they weren’t capable of combat. They WOULD take a bullet for him, but there was a gun pointed at him from all directions. Even they wouldn’t be enough to take the hit for all the people that want Havoc gone. And standing in the frontline of it all, Stephanie Matsuda.
Havoc brushes past his followers and makes way to a pedestal situated right in the center of the warehouse. He climbs up to the platform and raises his hand to signal cooperation from his followers. And without a moment wasted, the deafening chitter-chatter comes to an absolute halt. He takes a puff off his cigarette before addressing his people. “Why do you think have I asked for everybody’s presence here tonight? As much as I would love to entertain the whole lot at once, I have far more important businesses to attend to. But the matter in our hands is very vital to the success of our Movement. The past couple of weeks have been eye-opening for most of us. While we have found plenty of success in and around the world of pro-wrestling. After all, we captured the OWA World Championship. But-- Our front in WWH has weakened. People have rallied against our troops are tried to oust us from a position of power. They want my head on a pike-- And the management will throw EVERYBODY at us if that’s what it takes to bring us down. These past couple of weeks have been humiliating to say the very least. Losing to the likes of Jonny Cedrone was bad enough-- Then having to deal with The Revolutionaries and the Dynamic Duo while I have the Shogun in the back of my mind-- It’s frustrating! And now, they have sent the best they’ve got. Their best shot at dethroning me-- Their best shot of bringing me down. Stephanie Matsuda. While I do respect her grind and her ability to capture gold everywhere she goes… It’s crazy to imagine that we haven’t faced the capacity we should have. Everything else leading up to this had been quite damning. I did not feel any need to invest my energy into the bullshit that doesn’t matter to me. Vincent Lyons Jr. is irrelevant and will be dealt with by Nikki in a short capacity. Renee is now irrelevant by proxy, by aligning herself with losers like VLJ. Zolton? Who the fuck even cares about Zolton anymore. That man has been desperately trying to get that Shogun win that I got in my first year in. At some point, you must realize that you’re not good enough and Zolton struggles to come to terms with that. And then there’s Cedrone, who played his pathetic little games that boiled my fucking blood. Is that the respect that a double champion deserves to be shown? With every passing week, this company keeps proving my point. They keep putting me into situations where I am mocked for who I am-- DESPITE the world-beater that I have been since the moment I stepped foot in this seemingly doomed company. I brought it out of the Ashes of irrelevance and made it something to look out for on a biweekly basis. I brought prestige back to the Affliction Championship when the hands of Vincent Lyons Jr. sullied its existence. I vanquished the seemingly unbeatable Noah Hanson, relegating him down to a management role. I promised that I’d be the end of him, didn’t I? I promised that I’d send him packing to the retirement home and I did just that. He knows that he wasn’t capable of stopping me in the ring, so he chose the easy way out. He believes that his newfound power will be able to slow me down-- But that motherfucker is in for a rude awakening. I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!” He exclaimed at the top of the lungs as the crowd corroborated with loud cheers of approval. He takes a large puff out of his cigarette as he revels at the sight of his people singing his praises. “Protesting a protest-- That’s what The Revolutionaries are. They’re protesting my protest to bring a change in this capitalist world. They’re protesting my protest to bring people like us out of the gutter and give them a true chance at life. They’re protesting my protest of being the beacon of change and turning the economic balance upside down. THEY’RE PROTESTING MY PROTEST FOR FIGHTING FOR YOUR RIGHTS!! YOUR VOICE!!! And these are the people touted as WWH’s heroes? These are the people that people cheer for? You can villainize me but you can’t throw mud on my ideals. You can’t throw mud on the LIVES of all of these incredible people… Their incredible struggles to break through the shackles bound to them by society through my words is empowering enough. And then you’ve got Stephanie Matsuda throwing baseless accusations my way, regarding my movement. She takes about the misogyny I encourage through my actions-- FUCK THAT! I have always been fair to all humankind. All that DESERVE my fairness, that is. Some people deserve to get got-- And I am just HELPING society by getting rid of these people. I should be hailed as a HERO! A MESSIAH! A GOD AMONGST MEN! But no!! They would NEVER! They don’t have the gall to accept change. They hate people like us for trying to make something out of our miserable fucking lives. And Stephanie Matsuda is part of the problem. How you may wonder? Well, the proof is right in our face. Jacob Striker-- A man I saw potential in at first glance. And it seems like Matsuda shares that sentiment, taking him under her wing. What’s wrong with that, right? A celebrated pioneer of this industry taking you in for the potential you’ve got… PROMISING a bright future, that has yet to come. Look at him now!! Where the fuck is he? What is he doing? Do you even know, Matsuda? Do you even care? The Dynamic Duo were so dismissive of your protégé. Did you tell them otherwise? WHAT THE FUCK have you done for Jacob Striker? He is falling down a whole he might never come out of because of the shit that you put through. Or the shit that you promised to him that will NEVER come to fruition. And guess what? YOU FAIL TO MENTION HIM AT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! YOU’VE FORGOTTEN ABOUT HIM! You’re just like the rest of them, Matsuda. While you have the talent to back up your words, you look down upon the unfortunate. Instead of helping him shape his talents to get even close to the legacy that you’ve had in this business-- You left him to rot on the sides without a single care in the world. That’s WHY you’re part of the problem, Matsuda. Jacob Striker doesn’t need a Stephanie Matsuda to bring him out of the gutter. He needs to find that within HIMSELF! He needs to find a voice that he can relate with. A voice that represents every aspect of the downtrodden members of this society-- JACOB STRIKER NEEDS A MESSIAH! And that’s not you, Matsuda.” The Ashes echoed the sentiment. They boo at the mention of Stephanie Matsuda’s name. While Havoc appreciates the gesture, he motions the crowd to maintain their silence and they follow suit. “Do you remember the last time you stepped foot with the Nightmare King, Matsuda? How did that turn out for ya? From what I remember, it was a massacre. You had no chance to compete with my unmatched power. You are familiar with ABHOLOS, aren’t ya? Well, he happens to be my personal monster. An entity who acts upon my will… If I can tame a monster like Abholos to serve my purpose-- Who the fuck are you?! You call yourself the War Queen, and I am sure you’ve been in many back-and-forth battles in your time-- But they all PALE in comparison to the battles that I had to get through to even stand amongst these people. To command an army of followers who not only take my every word as gospel-- But also act upon it and make my vision a reality. I’ve got MONSTERS under me. I AM THE GOD DAMN NIGHTMARE KING!!! Stephanie Matsuda-- You’re just a fucking wrestler. What is a mortal being doing in a battle with GOD?! And what good has ever come from it?! Matsuda-- Your reign as Double Champion has been impressive. But at the end of the day, you’re just walking along the path that I SET OUT in WWH. I was the FIRST ever double champion. I was the SHOGUN! You’re just trying to replicate my success to taste what true power truly feels like. Cloud-- I am not trying to disrespect you by stating your destiny. Treat me as a fortune-teller of unfortunate truths. And the biggest truth of them all is Stephanie Matsuda COULD NEVER be as powerful as Havoc. I’ve got men-- I’ve got monsters lined up to fight my battle for me, but that won’t be needed against you. I-- Myself, am enough for EVERYTHING that you can bring to the table. You can try to talk tough! You can try to be a fucking g. I don’t care! But I DO have to thank the management for doing ONE thing right. I NEEDED this match. I truly did. After the disrespect that I had to deal with, the only way out of this trench is to trounce the best this company has to offer. And as a double champ, you’re the only one who even comes CLOSE to matching my legacy in this company. I’ve not been a champion in this company for all of two months. TWO MONTHS IN NEARLY THREE FUCKING YEARS! That’s my legacy. That is Sabertooth’s legacy. While you command all the belts that you have-- I have the OWA World Championship. The WWH World Championship. The WWH Affliction Championship. A champion in Nikki Caldwell with me. And my men, Maverick and Abholos will be taking the Tag Championships from you and Aria in OWA real soon. I WOULD take your belts as a reward for beating you-- But they’re beneath me. They’re beneath the most prestigious belt this company has to offer. And I’ve got them BOTH draped over my shoulders. You can pretend that your Double Championship comes close in comparison to my own-- But it is just a cheap imitation. An attempt to capture the same glory that I did months before you. I MAKE HISTORY-- While the rest just walk down the path I set in stone. So, don’t see yourself as a pioneer, Cloud!! You may be a belt collector-- But I have been a champion in EVERY SINGLE COMPANY I have stepped foot in for a better part of three years now. So-- I thank you, Stephanie Matsuda. I thank you for giving me the easiest way to raise my stock back to the very top. I thank you for single-handedly being the final piece of the puzzle, for once I beat you-- This company would have NOBODY WOTH A DAMN left to offer. I thank you for opening my eyes to the struggles of Jacob Striker. I thank you for making me realize that having a legacy doesn’t mean shit when you don’t use your platform for the betterment of this world. All you ever did with the position you’ve got is falsely vilify me for acts that I would never commit. You’re just a keyboard warrior, Matsuda. You’re all talk. You’re a walking punchline. You’re a faux champion. You’re a pretender. You’re a dollar store gender-swap Christopher Sabertooth. You’re my final warning to Zolton and VLJ at Shogun. You’re the example that they will use for YEARS to come for the people who tried to step on my foot. Tread carefully, Matsuda. You may be talented-- But you’re no demon.” He smirked, with a demonic smile on his face that sends chills down the spine of everybody around him. His eyes twitch sporadically before glowing red with anger and fury. “MATSUDA WILL PERISH! MATSUDA WILL SUFFER! MATSUDA WILL BE DEALT WITH FOR THE ASHES WILL ONLY GET STRONGER! OUR NUMBERS WILL GROW TO NEWER HEIGHTS! THE WORLD WILL BOW DOWN AT OUR MIGHT FOR WE OUR UNTOUCHABLE! STEPHANIE MATSUDA HAS NOT AND WILL NEVER-- EVER BEAT ME!! EVER!!! EVER!!! I AM THE GREATEST CHAMPION THIS COMPANY HAS EVER SEEN! I AM A MESSIAH TO THE MASSES! I AM A GOD AMONGST MEN! I AM IMMORTAL! IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT SHE HITS ME WITH-- FOR I DO NOT FEEL PAIN. I ALWAYS GET BACK UP! THIS IS THE MONTH OF OCTOBER! HALLOWEEN IS AROUND THE CORNER! AND THE NIGHTMARE KING ONLY FUELS OFF THE FEAR EMINATING FROM THIS WORLD! FEAR ME, MATSUDA! FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE! FEAR FOR YOUR LEGACY! FOR STEPHANIE MATSUDA WILL ALWAYS BE NUMBER TWO AS LONG AS HAVOC REIGNS SUPREME. AND FOR THAT-- I NEED YOU, PEOPLE, TO FOLLOW EACH AND EVERY WORD. THE WAR HAS JUST BEGUN. WE WILL TROUNCE MATSUDA. WE WILL DESTROY THE REVOLUTIONARIES! WE WILL END WWH! WE WILL CONQUER THIS WORLD FOR THAT IS OUR DESTINY!! ARE YOU WITH ME?!!!” He spread out his arms as the people cheer on in acknowledgment. “I SAID… ARE. YOU. WITH. ME?!?!” The roaring from the crowd only gets louder as chaos ensues in the warehouse. People are seen jumping around throwing hands at one another. They’re pulling each other’s hair apart while maniacally laughing at the sight. It seemed like his army of followers had collectively got brainwashed. They had lost their minds. They were hanging on to every word that Havoc had to say and fueling his tenacity. Havoc was the King of the moment. He was the center of attention. He was the man with a target on his back but an army that looked out for him.
Walking through the crowd appeared to be Nikki Caldwell and Jada Blaire, looking around the riled up followers feeding Havoc’s ego as he laughed maniacally. “We will rise like the fire-- leaving behind nothing but the ashes of this cruel world. Ashes that we will use as the foundation to build upon a NEW World. A world where we all are equal no matter caste, creed, religion, or gender. A world where WE, the people, take control of our own lives. We shape our own futures. We dictate our OWN legacies. This is the ASHES OF THE WAKE! We are almighty! We are unstoppable! We are a force to be reckoned with! And if you feel our pain-- If the words that you hear flow through your veins! JOIN US! Be on the right side of history. LET US IN! All you have to do-- Is take my hand. And I promise you… YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE!!” Havoc exclaimed as Nikki and Jada admired Havoc’s intensity as his demonic laughter echoed throughout the halls of the warehouse. The camera zooms out to a birds-eye view as we see a LARGE army of followers gathered around cheering on for their Savior as the scene comes to an end.
Fade to Black.

Dystopia Promo #1
“Dogfight”
Palace Hotel Omiya Saitama, Japan Late Evening
Despite the unusually warm weather, Stephanie still wore her gray hoodie as she stepped outside to meet with one of the most important people in her life, Miss Manami. The legendary joshi wrestler was in town, watching Stephanie defend her American Dream Championship at a Wrestleworld show, several days earlier. Because she doesn’t get to enjoy Japan as often as she used to, Matsuda decided to stay a few extra days before heading back to the states. As she walked out of the hotel, she saw her mentor waiting for her nearby. Miss Manami: <Stephanie! Over here!>Stephanie smiled as she embraced Manami. It was nice to see a familiar face. Especially one that allowed her to converse in Japanese with. Stephanie Matsuda: <Manami-sensei! You look great!>
Miss Manami: <You look good yourself - at least for someone who just been through hell. Defending your belt against multiple opponents is never easy.>Stephanie Matsuda: <Tell me about it. Fortunately, I’m still champion.>Miss Manami: <That’s been quite the common occurrence for you this year, huh?>Stephanie Matsuda: <Yeah, but I feel like it’s starting to catch up to me, physically.>Manami nodded as they took a stroll towards a nearby park. Stephanie had her hood over her head as a way of avoiding attention. With Wrestleworld temporarily behind her, there was only her match against the man they called Havoc. It was time for Stephanie to step into the ring with one of the most dominating fighters of the current generation...for a second time. Technically third, but this would be their second one-on-one bout. With the assistance of one of Matsuda’s rivals at the time, Havoc was able to pull a fast one to get the victory. Now, it was much more intimate. After defeating The Revolutionaries one by one single-handedly, followed by tapping out Nikki Caldwell, The War Queen now stood against the last remaining force that stood between her and total domination over their Dystopia brand. There were two double champions...but only one was clearly stronger than the other. Unlike Havoc, Stephanie didn’t need minions to help her fight her battles. She and her best friend Aria would be defending their tag titles against two of Ashes members from another sub-faction. One of those members is a man who has seemingly invaded her dreams. He wears the face of someone from her past with the voice of someone even closer. Fortunately, Matsuda has a chance to cut the snake at its head. Sensing her former pupils’ agitation, Manami placed a warm hand on her shoulder. Miss Manami: <When you're at the top, you're the one ruling others. And when you're ruling others, expect the pain to be greater. The enemy becomes more vicious and will do anything to overthrow you. Eventually, the pain will become unbearable and you will fall. It's up to you to determine how much you're willing to sacrifice before losing your titles, because eventually, you will lose them all.>Stephanie Matsuda: <The International Championship?>Miss Manami: <You'll lose it.>Stephanie's eyes narrowed. Stephanie Matsuda: <My Women's World Championship?>Miss Manami: <You'll lose that too.>There was a moment of silence between student and wrestling. Manami continued. Miss Manami: <What separates the greatest champions from the rest is not just how they win, but how they step away when its all said and done. Many wrestlers leave a black mark on their careers because they live past their expiration date. If you can hang on till your later years, fine. But, people don't know how much we've sacrificed to maintain thirty year careers. Stephanie, you have a wonderful life. If you and Monica decide to have children, things will become more difficult. Take it from me, a single mother…>Manami sighed. Stephanie knew that she wasn't always there for her daughter Natsu. Though the young rookie didn't hold it against her, she could tell Manami's regrets weighed heavily on her shoulders. Stephanie Matsuda: <Why are you bringing this up now?>Miss Manami: <Because the man you're about to fight believes in something that goes beyond winning. He just doesn't want titles, Stephanie, he wants to rule. Just like you refer to yourself as a queen, Havoc fancies himself a king. You both are two sides of the same coin - capable of doing anything to sit on your thrones. So before you meet him in the ring, you have to ask yourself - how far do you want to take this?>Stephanie grimaced while shoving her hands in her pockets. She already knew the answer. But with the development of the Cloud Nine Center and Monica throwing subtle hints about expanding their family, her life outside the ring was becoming as complex as her fights in the squared circle. She proved that she can take on The Revolutionaries and Nikki Caldwell. But now, she was about to stand face to face with the WWH World and Affliction Champion. She fell to his Giga Drill Break in their last bout. Matsuda vowed that if they ever run it back, she would be the victor. On Sunday, she would get her shot. Stephanie Matsuda: <Manami-sensei, do you think I'm the best in the world?>Her mentor cracked a smile as she rubbed her chin. Miss Manami: <There is always somebody better, even when you're the best. I'm not trying to discourage you, but to remind you of the consequences of you going at the pace you are. Five titles in four promotions...I haven't seen that in years. Some have come close, but you're the only one I know who's accomplished this. Are you satisfied with your accomplishments?>Stephanie shrugged. Stephanie: <I-I don't know. What I do know is I want to beat the WWH World Champion. Then I want to do it again...and win his championship. I'm taking things one day at a time and that's the goal.>Manami nodded, respecting her student's decision. Miss Manami: <I wish you good fortune in your endeavors, Stephanie. Just remember- there will come a time where your golden age will pass. It'll be up to you to decide how you handle that.>Stephanie nodded and continued to walk with Mamani in silence. There was a lot to consider, but first she had to defeat the man formerly known as Christopher Sabertooth. "For a second time, you and I will dance under the pale moonlight."The camera opens to Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda sitting alone in her office, at the War Room Dojo in Brooklyn. It’s a Friday evening, just two days away from her inevitable encounter with Havoc, formerly known as Christopher Sabertooth. There’s a reflective look in Matsuda’s eyes, as if she had time to think over some things. The room was quite dark save for a small dimly lit desk lamp, exposing enough of Matsuda’s face. "This time, the circumstances are different. Instead of being two pawns in a much larger scheme, we're the ones calling the shots. You and I have spent 2020 in each other’s orbit, fighting everybody but each other. And when it came time for us to duel, it was none other than Claudia Michaels, mother of WWH’s own Sweet Roxy who spoiled what was nominated as a Match of the Year contender. You walked away the better of us, but now several months later, we stand as equals, Chris. You don’t mind if I call you Chris, right? I’ve sat back and watched you parade around this new world order of yours. I’ve stayed silent as you sabotaged match after match and lure impressionable minds into your flock. When I look at you I don’t see someone who should be feared. What I see before me is just another cult of personality who rather bark than bite. Don’t get me wrong - I know you’re a dog with a lot of fight still left in you. But, I’m not just any ‘ol bitch, Chris. I’m the sole person who’s strong enough to solo your entire stable. I’m the woman you robbed the Revolutionaries of their title belts. I’m the War Queen who made your waifu tap before the entire world. Before you enter that ring, think to yourself: what makes a woman like Stephanie Matsuda? I’m not some general manager you can push around. I’m an irresistible force that has the potential to mow your entire movement down single handedly. Hmph, lucky for you I’m not interested in your petty war with Noah Hanson. You the Revolutionaries can throw each other off a roof for all I care. While I respect your individual strengths, beyond that all I see is the same ‘ol song and dance I’ve seen in every promotion I’ve fought in. Some hotshot talent gathers a group of friends in hopes of shocking the system; meanwhile, a group of loyalists rise to defend their company from the vile hands of the opposition. Both sides think they’re right in their own way. The two sides spend weeks, sometimes even months fighting for their beliefs. At least until somebody betrays their group and tips the scales by joining the other team. Makes me wonder how long is it going to take Nikki until she sees you for what you are, Chris. You’re just a spinster, weaving tales of a non-existent struggle, sweets. Your mind games may work on sensitive minds like Cedrone. You can stalk the rest of the roster like you’re the goddamn Batman, but all of it is smoke and mirrors to me.”
Stephanie smiles as she sits back and cross her arms. “If Serenity and Jocelyn were able to give you guys a run for your money, then I have nothing to fear. You aren’t my mind killer, Chris. Your darkness doesn’t haunt me, nor does it entice me. I don’t know if the same can be said for Vincent Lyons. You seemed to have shaken up the guy quite a bit. But, it’s what you do, right? You get your enemies into a frenzy, forcing them to act outside their normal character. You pull their strings like a puppet master, getting them to shuck and jive for you. Poor Vinnie was so heated the other week that he even lashed out at his own family. That’s what you're good at, sweets. I’ve seen you pull the wool over countless adversaries with my own eyes. I’ve sat backstage during multiple episodes of Dystopia as you preached your sermons to the masses. You were like a gothic Robert Pattison, preaching to the choir about their delusions. I’ll avoid the spoilers, but I’m Tom Holland in this scenario, sweets. If you know, you know. And if there’s anything that I do know, is that you can be beaten. I’ve watched Jonny Cedrone do it. And if I can dethrone a worthy champion like him...what do you think I’m going to do to you when your title is on the line? Our match on Sunday is a glimpse into the future of Dystopia and WWH as a whole. I was told recently that every reign comes to an end. Just like there will come a day I lost both of my titles, the same will happen to you, Chris. My purpose in this little three-way feud of ours is to be the one to pin or submit you when it happens. Maybe it won’t be at Final Destination. But somewhere down the line, you’ll slip. Is there a chance someone else may walk away with your precious? Sure, but I doubt that you’ll let that happen. I have complete faith in your ability to keep your other suitors at a distance, sweets. Because I will beat you on Sunday. Knowing you, there’s going to be hell to pay. You’re going to be so desperate to get that win back that you’re going to put everything on the line. And when that happens...I take everything.”There was a glimmer in Stephanie’s eyes, a piece of her own darkness that resided within her. “Renee thinks I’m wishfully thinking when it concerns getting a shot at your belt. She was right - she did beat you in a champion vs champion match back in the4 spring. But, there’s a difference between her and I. I not only have her belt, but I have Jonny’s too. As much as I admire her, I don’t need to wait in line like the rest. I have more than enough clout to get what I want Chris, and unlike some people I’m not going to wait around with my hands out. I’m a busy woman trying to forge her own legacy and the last thing I need is to stand there and watch you kick everyone else’s ass. I know what you can do - I’ve experienced it firsthand. But, lessons were learned, sweets. Our planets are aligned once more. The heavens are signing my praise while the devil is whispering in your ear. Your secret chord pleases everyone but the lord. You sit in that throne of yours with your crown of thorns, seeking to fill an empty space that cannot be filled. Why? Because you don’t know when it's enough, Chris. Your selfishness knows no bounds, for your eyes are bigger than your stomach. I know and understand this, because I believe you’re just as lost…”Stephanie’s eyes grew somber as she looked into the camera. “As I am. Every night we look at our hands wondering how much farther must we push ourselves? It’s why we’ve fought everywhere this year. It’s why we carry multiple world titles from different promotions. You and I - can’t believe I’m saying this - are one and the same, Chris. I believe in you because I know and understand what it’s like to be you. I used to hang out with the goth kids back in my old place where we terrorized an entire roster. Back then I hated the world and wanted the powers that be to suffer. I - like my former stablemates thought we were doing the world a service. We were convinced that we were going to change things for the better in our own f’ed up kind of way. It took me a while to learn that what I do in the ring doesn’t always reflect what I do beyond those ropes. While success breeds opportunity, the road I walk as The War Queen is a selfish one. The life I lead as Stephanie Matsuda is one that I share with my family and friends. I lend my name to the causes I believe in. Because when it’s all said and done, those are the people I’ll be coming home to when I hang up the boots one last time. I think you should ask yourself Chris - when your story is done, where do you go? Who will be waiting for you? Winning the WWH World Championship is one step closer to me calling it a day. As for the rest of you...let the darkness swallow you for all I care. Because at the end of the day, I’ll still be that bitch of the wrestling world, a living legend who did everything that she needed to do. Meanwhile, your creepy ass will be howling at the moon like you always do. See you soon, Chris. Woof woof.”Stephanie leaned forward and turned off the camera.
