~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PROLOGUE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ … … … … …
Payback was something that I knew would happen one day, and I have to say -- I'm not proud of it. Sure, a win is a win, but I didn't want to beat Jonny like that, but it is what it is, isn't it, Havoc? FUCK! I guess I can't blame you for wanting to get back to him for what he did to you. You wanted revenge, and you got it -- for now. I guess you can say that I have something more important on my mind -- well, two things on my mind, and that is Jonna and BellaDonna.
As you all know, Belladonna showed just how much of a coward she is when she attacked me from behind, and to add insult to injury, she decided to have a bodyguard. That shit is funny enough to know nobody will stop me from getting my hands on her.
As you all saw at Sanatorium, I prove that nothing is going to stop me from paying her back for what she has done to me. She talked all shit in the contract signing -- yet failed in her attempt at becoming the number one contender. So, I did what anyone else would do to prove my dominance in the ring and this industry. I think we all know what's going to happen at Shogun, and trust me when I say that it won't be pretty. But that also includes you, Austin. You're going to be my little messenger for Hunter and what I'm going to do to her. I want Hunter to understand what's going to happen to her when she steps in the ring with me. I want her to know that Chris Matthews WWH career is far from over.
Austin, what I'm going to do to you isn't personal, but you need to understand that I deserve this chance more than anyone in this company. This match will be the one thing that will skyrocket my career to the top of the Dystopia roster. Austin, what I'm going to do to you is going to be something that nobody dares to be part of, and yet that's going to fall on you and not me.
Jonna, there is nothing that you can do to win, and you know it. You know, deep down, that you can handle the things that I bring. You know it to be true. All that stood before have fallen, and you're no different. Do you want to prove something, Austin? Then I expect you to show up and fight like the wrestler that you are. I want to make you mad. And trust me when I say that I can piss people off without even trying.
But my point is this, Austin. I don't care what's in that mystery box as I plan on climbing up that ladder and taking that box down and winning. What's in that box? I cannot say, but I can promise you that whatever is in there is as good as mine. Dystopia, prepare to get embarrassed. … … … … … ================================ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scene 1 » Airport ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The life of a WWH superstar is a rough one. The life of a superstar, in general, is a tough one, but all fights to better themselves, while others look for a paycheck. Chris Matthews is one of those guys that continue to fight for what is right, no matter what people say about him. Chris has never been the one to let critics get to his mind as he knows that critics never stepped in the ring at all, and that makes him less concerned about them. But until then, he must get on a place to get to Dystopia. Chris, as you all know, works in a few companies and always on a flight to his next destination.
Chris is heading into the airport wearing a black dress shirt, loose-fitting jeans, black tinted shades, black dress shoes, and a black face mask that covers his nose and mouth. He has his black duffle bag on his shoulder and his plane ticket in his hand. What can Chris expect with the match against Jonna Austin? He knows that Jonna is going to be ready, but so is he. Chris has always shown the world that he has what it takes to win, and this match against Jonna is going to help Skyrocket him straight to the top where he belongs.
Chris needs something to help him relax, and what better way to relax than with a strawberry refresher from Starbucks, right? So he walks towards a stand, and a woman is working there. She is about 16 or 17 years old with light-colored skin, which means her mom is black and white. She seems like she's enjoying work. She's wearing her Starbucks outfit with a green Starbucks face mask that covers her nose and mouth.
Hello, sir. What can I get for you?
Yeah...umm...just give me a large strawberry refresher.
Would you like Lemonade in that?
No thanks. Just the way that it is made, and can you add extra strawberries in that?
No problem sir.
She goes to work on his drink as Chris pulls out his wallet and grabs his bank card. He turns his back as he knows what he has to do. Chris wanted to do everything he could to win.
Tell you, it sucks having to continue to be on flights and going all over the world.
What is it that you do?
I'm a wrestler.
Really? I love to watch wrestling. Granted, my mom and dad continue to tell me that it's fake.
It's as real as they come, girl.
Is it true that you have to continue to work out to make it to the top?
Yep. But the reward is great, and that shouldn't be the only reason you should wrestle.
People at my school tell me that wrestlers are rich and famous.
Chris lets out a slight chuckle and turns towards her. That is true... As he said in a soft tone. But it's also a lot of hard work, and have to honor your craft if you want to get far.
What do you mean? As she spoke in a confused tone. Chris was about to tell her until he realized that he was running late for his flight. I would love to chat, but I have to run.
She nods as she finished his drink. He put the chip of his car in and pulls out as he takes his drink, leaving the girl looking at him. ================================ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scene 2 » prophecy of ragnarök ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The scene comes up in the middle of a forest, and there is some snow coming down. There is a series of broken shields, swords, axes, spears, and rocks made in ships. There is a figure walking through the forest wearing pants, a black hooded sweatshirt covering the head, and some black boots on the feet. The figurehead was looking down until the figure stops and takes the hood of the sweatshirt, and looks up. You see that the person is none other than Chris Matthews. Chris looks at everything on the ground and takes a moment on what he's looking at it. Chris moves forward and grabs the handle of a sword and lifts it to look at the design of this weapon. He sits on the ground as he put the sharp end of the iron sword into the ground. Chris looks up at the camera and begins to speak. You know, I have never been shy about saying things since being here. I look at the people who walk through the halls of WWH and see that they are the toughest of the tough. But also know that there are a few bad eggs that shall not be talk about... As he gets a smirk on his face. Yet. As he drops his smirk to a regular face. As for now, I have to talk about Jonna Austin and this match. This match is something that should be a glorious battle where two warriors stand in the middle of that ring, fighting for a prize that remains a mystery. What will that prize be? I don't know. But what I do know is that I love surprises and this will be the prize that I'm aiming for and planning on winning.But you know... As he looks down at the sword and rubs the cold iron with his hand. I love causing pain all for the name of Odin. You see, Odin is the god of many things. Wisdom, poetry, war, death, divination, and magic. Those are the traits that he has, yet people don't want to know about him. He continues to rub the sword and looks up. But I do. I love knowing about history as it makes people understand that past. But my favorite about Odin is war, which I'm going to bring to you, Jonna. Do you think you have a chance in this match? Against me? Please, you haven't learned any more skills than Belladonna. But I'll admit that you could embarrass Bella without thinking twice. But you need to understand that ain't impressive as anyone could beat her.He stabs the sword into the ground to lift himself off the snow-covered ground. He fully stands up and throws the iron sword to the side. A Warrior like me will never quit no matter what the odds are. I can fight the weakest of the weak or the strongest of the strong yet still won't back down from the fight. There are a few people in this company who doesn't care as much as I do. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm as strong as any other warrior, and that's saying something.
A Viking warrior will drink mead the day before and fight the next day. But the thing is, they drink mead with other Viking tribes and sees them as their brother or sister. Me? I don't see anyone here as my brother or sister, as I'm someone who fights alone. I fight as someone who wants to show the world that I'm someone who will climb the ladder of success and reach out for the win, and that brings up the point with Jonna and our match. But you want to know something, Austin? There will be no Vahalla for you when we fight. There won't be a fest or drink for you there as there will be nothing but torment and destruction coming your way.He moves towards the camera as it moves back. At Dystopia, the battle will be glorious, and there will be no glory for you, Jonna. You will fall in battle and show the world that you will never be successful as long as I'm around. I am Chris Matthews, A man that will slay the underserving and send them down to the depth of Hel.He leans down and grabs one of the axes that's lying on the ground and looks at the weapon. The Vikings are brothers and sisters, yet the fight in battle and kill each other. I never could kill my brother and sister in the heart of the battle... He looks up and stares at the camera. But you, I could. When Dystopia rolls around, I'm going kill and massacre you in the middle of that ring. That ring will be the final resting place of Jonna Austin, and you know it. Jonna, you know that when Dystopia rolls around that your time is up and forgotten. The world will see you fall to the mat. The only thing you're going to see is me climbing that ladder and take that mystery case and winning the match.He goes and sits down on a sitting log and looks around. He saw a bottle of Mead and opened it. He throws the ax to the ground as it sticks there. He raises the bottle of Mead and smiles. In the end, you will understand why Chris Matthews is one of the toughest fighters in the WWH. Jonna, I salute you for going through this match and what is about to become of you. So... He drinks the Mead and lets the liquid slide down his throat. He gives off a smile as he finished it. He then throws it to the side, and all you hear was a broken bottle sound. Odin is going to watch over me and sent me to a GLORIOUS victory. What about you, Austin? I can't wait to see what awaits you on Sunday.He grabs the ax and throws it to the camera lens as it cracks and fuzzes. That is when the scene fades to black. ©2020 KRAV MAGA PRODUCTIONS
Late Thursday night, after her match had gone off the air with Women’s Wrestling Revolution, the blonde woman was getting checked over by medical staff after the match she had in the haunted fun house. For reasons that would be obvious to anyone else, Jamie hadn’t been inside the haunted house during the match, so when she heard that her sister had nearly fallen from a 2nd floor hallway to a cold, seemingly hard as steel floor that would have caused some serious damage to the wrestler. The shorter of the two sisters shoved her way through the medical personnel, shouting at them to tell them to move.
“Get the Hell out of my way! Let me get to my sister, or I’ll send your sorry asses to the hospital instead!”
As Jonna listened to the sound of her sister’s voice, she rubbed her jaw, knowing that it would be bruised by morning or even sooner. The competitor waved the EMT away when her sister finally reached her, knowing that they wouldn’t be able to check her out anymore while she dealt with Jamie. The women had talked, off camera of course, about Jonna being careful in the house since they had no idea what kind of condition the building was truly in. She knew that she was going to be getting an earful from Jamie, and while her head was beyond throbbing, she prepared herself for the lecture.
“Are you out of your fucking mind, Jonna?! You could have been fucking paralyzed or killed in that stupid house!! Are you that fucking eager to end your career or even your life?!”
“Jamie, chill the Hell out...it wasn’t like any of us knew that the floor and bannister was going to give out. Oddly enough, Tiggy and Zoe saved me from hitting the floor and getting seriously injured. Considering they were my opponents, they didn’t have to do that but did so anyways.”
The sisters looked through the small crowd that had been sent by management, to check everyone over, and caught sight of the two champions. When they saw the women look their way as well, the twins gave them a little nod from respect though Jamie also sent a smile of appreciation towards the pair for their aiding her sister. The smaller of the women looked back at her sister, a frown growing on her features as she watched her sister rub both sides of her jaw.
“After tonight, are you even going to feel up to facing Chris Matthews on Sunday? One grueling match after the other isn’t going to be too easy on the body, after all. I just don’t want you to end up seriously hurt...tonight was a close call.”
“I’ll be fine, Jamie...just let the EMTs finish their job with checking me over so we can go, and I can get some rest. We have to head to California tomorrow so that I take Saturday to rest and be ready to take Chris on in that ladder match on Sunday. Even if I'm still feeling beat up, I have to be able to take him on.”
Jamie crossed her arms over her Freddy Krueger sweater dress, a frown on her face as she nodded and stepped back some. She watched the personnel closely as they checked various parts of Jonna over. The shorter Texas native glanced between her sister, Super Tiger, and Zoe Jane...wanting to go over and talk to the other two women but being unsure of doing so. Jonna noticed the look on her sister’s face and gave her a little nod, letting her know to go ahead while they finished checking her over. The active competitor smiled weakly, her jaw throbbing too severely for anything more, and she allowed her attention to fully be on the medical personnel as they talked to her while her sister walk off. While it seemed like a lot longer, given the throbbing in her head and jaw...and well her body in general now that the adrenaline was wearing off, it was only a few moments later that the medical team began talking to her and giving her instructions for the next couple of days.
“Alright Ms. Austin...while I know your entire head is probably killing you right now, it doesn’t seem like there’s any concern for a concussion. Take it easy for a couple of days, eat soft foods to rest your jaw up, and just let yourself relax. Try not to do too much talking for a day or two as well, and that should help speed up some of the healing. You’re going to be pretty bruised and sore, but it looks like you’ll heal up in no time. You’re free to go, but just watch out for anything worsening instead of improving.”
Jonna nodded lightly, thanking the worker before gently pushing herself off of the back of the ambulance. The blonde beauty winced some as she walked over to her sister, gingerly putting her arm around the other woman’s shoulders. She shook hands with Tiggy and Zoe, quietly thanking them for the match opportunity. The two women turned on their heels and began walking to where they had parked their rental.
“As a child, I loved everything scary and Halloween related. If there was some kind of event going on during October, I usually found my way to it whether it was with Uncle Steve taking me, and Jamie since I would drag her along for the fun, or finding my own way there if Uncle Steve was away at shows or events. I longed for the mystery of what types of jump scares would be in the haunted houses, what type of rooms would be set up, and just what fears of people that they would try and exploit. The mysteriousness of it all drew me in even more than the thrill of being in a ‘haunted’ house.”
Jonna Austin came into view, the area being a dark and calm spot in the Elysium Arena. Her twin sister was in the area with her, her arms being crossed over her chest with a smile gracing her features. The twin sisters were dressed for the occasion despite not needing to have costumes on. Jonna was dressed as a sexy flight attendant though she had on a short pair of wrestling shorts on as well as wrestling boots versus one of the tight skirts and heels. Her hair was up in a tight ponytail with no visible hair out of place, and she had kept her makeup simple yet also eye-catching with some sparkle. Jamie was dressed as a cheerleader, her long blonde hair laying straight against her back and over her shoulder, her makeup done brightly with blues, silvers, and a lot of sparkles to match the blue and silver costume that she was wearing.
“Jonna has been preparing for this week since the card was announced. Her return has been full of ups and downs, but she plans on changing that tonight. She doesn’t just want this win and whatever the opportunity is in the mystery box, but she NEEDS the chance that is going to be given to the winner. Things need to change around here, for Jonna and in general. Tonight is going to bring and start the change.”
“Chris Matthews...you’re an amazing in-ring competitor, and I would be a fool to think or say otherwise. You’re a multi-champion in the company, and like myself, you’re in need of a little pick me up, so to say. However, to let you think that I won’t be formidable in the ring would be wrong for me to do. You see, I have yet to bring the esteem to our family name like I’ve wanted to do. I’ve had the chance to do so, but I always fall short at the finish line of the race. I’m tired of coming up with the short end of the stick.”
Jonna snatched the little stewardess hat off of her head, wrinkling it in her hand as she clenched it in her fist. As she clenched the little hat, her knuckles began turning white, showing that she was frustrated with something or someone. The Texas native glanced down at the hat in her hand, watching her knuckles for a few moments before slowly lessening her grip, allowing her knuckles to return to their normal color. However, she didn’t bother fixing the hat or putting it back on her head. The wrestler passed the hat to her sister, not wanting to be bothered with it by that point.
“While you may be an excellent in-ring opponent, Chris, it all really comes down to some pretty simple questions...who wants it more? Which one of us really wants this? Out of the two of us, who is truly willing to give it their all in order to get that box? You have a wife and kids, a family...I have my sister, uncle, and my career. Which one of us has more to lose if major injuries were to happen? Now don’t take me wrong, this isn’t me threatening you with a purposeful injury or anything like that...I’m not that kind of worker or person in general. I’m just merely looking at the possibilities with a career like ours, especially with this being a ladder match.”
“After all, a ladder match can be extremely dangerous as well as detrimental to anyone’s career, no matter how skilled they are. They’re a real tricky thing to deal with, aren’t they? You may be able to grasp the box, but there’s no guarantee that one won’t lose their grip and fall to the mat without the prize still in their grasp. A fall like that could easily hurt someone, even put them on the shelf for a bit...especially if there’s more than just the ring mat to fall on.”
“But that’s not the way I roll...if there are things in the ring then so be it, but I’m not going to purposefully set something like that up. Look Matthews, there’s just no 2 ways around all of this when you look at it all. Accidents can happen, in fact they do happen, but I’m not so desperate for a win that I would be like that. Tonight when we meet in that ring, the future of our careers, what they can be on Dystopia, will be put on an unknown path that will launch us. I hope the anticipation doesn’t take you down before I have the chance to in that ring.”
Jonna gave the camera a little wave before she turned and began walking away. Her sister, Jamie, remained behind, watching her sister for a moment before looking back towards the camera. The blonde woman winked and blew a little kiss to those watching before she followed her sister, catching up within just a few moments. The camera faded as the two women made their way through their co-workers.
