We open in an office, a slimy lawyer type sits behind the desk, and to his left stands a man covered in scar tissue and burnt skin. It's none other than The Crooked Man, El Vagabundo, Crash Rodriguez. In front of the seated man is a nameplate that reads 'Louis Pohl'. The attorney starts speaking matter of factly.
"The time is finally upon us. What a glorious time it is for the WWH, because now they have Crash Rodriguez amongst their ranks. Because Crash Rodriguez will make the name Dystopia a reality. Because Crash Rodriguez is debuting in the War of Attrition, will go all the way and take home that win.”
Crash flashes his trademark crooked smile, a chilling smirk. It sits on his face, plastered like cheap wallpaper as Louis Pohl continues to speak.
"I already hear all the doubts and questions. 'How can you be so confident? I mean look at his record.' Well, I'll let the man speak for himself."
Crash runs his hands through his nest of hair, as he begins to speak. His voice is gravelly yet calm.
“The games are over. No more cows. No more laughing. No more asinine bullshit. I know exactly what I’m here to do, and I’m going to do it.”
Lou nods his head, a shit eating grin filling his face as he begins to speak.
“You may wonder ‘What could have possibly led to this change in Mr. Rodriguez? What has caused the Crooked Man to throw away everything he has built thus far? What’s the cause of his transformation?’ The answer is, plainly, the very business he’s loved. The answer is every talent in every locker room, every promoter needing to fluff the card’s length.”.
Lou begins to lean forward, his elbows on the desk, as his hands fold beneath his chin.
“It’s that simple. Nobody has given the man the respect he deserves. You see, this industry, it’s been chewing up my client, and spitting him out like some backwoods hillbilly fuck named Cletus. So, take a second, pull your dick out of your sister, and really try to digest what I’m saying.”
Lou stands up and places his hands on the table, leaning forward.
“Crash Rodriguez is here to beat, break and butcher anything in his path. Crash Rodriguez is here to do what he does best. Demolish everything. Spare no one. That’s how it will be in the War of Attrition. Crash will walk into that ring, dismantle every single soul unlucky enough to be in that ring with him. Crash will do what he’s always done best. Hurt people. At War of Attrition, Crash will bring destruction, chaos, and unspeakable evil to the world of WWH, simply because that’s what he’s here to do.”
Lou sits back down, his face now sporting a skeevy grin as he relaxes in his chair.
“Mister Rodriguez, the floor is yours.”
Crash Rodriguez’ smirk dries from his face, as he speaks in a rather haunting tone, causing the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on edge.
“You can put me in a ring with 30 other competitors. You can throw me in the arena with 100 other competitors. It won’t stop me. No invading forces will stop me. Nothing, quite simply, will stop me.”
As the words echo and reverberate off the walls, Lou composes himself.
“Well, what more do you need to hear? It’s exactly as the man says. There is not a soul here, there or anywhere, that can possibly survive the twisted brutality my man is known for. Sadly for the WWH roster, he’s decided to set up shop, right here, in your own home. So, what can they do? Nothing. There is nothing any of you can do to prevent what is coming. There’s nothing that can deter El Vagabundo from systematically maiming each and every talent that delusionally believes they can step in the ring with this monster.”
Crash cuts off Lou, causing some surprise, but Lou quickly subsides, knowing better than to instruct his client.
“I’m going to pile the bodies. I’m going to turn your favorite wrestlers into corpses, and throw them in a mass grave. The day of reckoning is upon you. Don’t try to run. Don’t try to hide.”
Lou stands up, fixing his tie as he smiles.
“So says The Crooked Man.”
The screen fades to black.

Legacy and passionate determination were hallmarks that defined who Isabella Thorn was. She was off to an interesting start in the WWH with her run on Isle and had signed up to take part in the battle royal match that was the main event and namesake of the Way of Attrition supercard. Sure it was the night after Isle and her big Imperial Championship Semi-Final match against Annelies but she was more than ready for the challenge. "Hello world, if you have been following Isle you know who I am. If not, I am Isabella Thorn. I am the 16 year old adopted daughter of Dystopia's own Sah'ta Thor. The leader of Imperium. Yes, the same Imperium that has sided with Baphomet's Left Hand. Yes, the Left Hand that carved a pentacle into Angelica Ambrose's left palm. Let me clear something for all of you out there tuned in for this video since it is about War of Attrition. I am a proud member of Imperium. However, I am not a member of the Left Hand and nor will I be until at least such time as I turn 18. If I even join then. For those of you wondering how I can stomach the actions taken by the Left Hand and be part of their allies group I will just say that I know my father thinks long term.'There is a pause as Isabella takes a breath while the video on the screen plays a train montage of Isabella practicing various moves in the ring. "With that taken care of I want to move on to the matter at hand. The War of Attrition match, a battle royale match with around thirty participants. Atleast, that is what the backstage rumor says about it. A mix of talent from all three brands and some unexpected surprises going at it for a shot to main event DreamState. DreamState is the biggest event of the WWH year and being in the main event is a rich price and it is to be expected that all of us in this match will do whatever it takes to win. I know that I am going to do whatever I need to have my hand raised in the air in victory."The montage video continues with more training clips as Isabella takes a breath to let her words resonate with the listeners. "Sure some in this match will be more capable than others but that is the way of matches like this. Though the question is why should you care about me? Why should you cheer me on in a field of thirty or so wrestlers? If you have been watching Isle and been tuning into watch the videos that I have been posting then you would know who I am. If you haven't well let me give you a quick recap of things you can go back and research if you are so inclined. Here is the cliff notes version of things. I will be 17 in May but will be contracted to Isle until I turn 18 at the very leasts. Yet, I probably have more experience in the ring then most people entering this battle royale. I started learning how to be a professional wrestler when I was six. For those of you out there who can't do math that was a decade ago. Ten years during which I have learned from over a dozen former champions."As Isabella falls silent the montage shifts to add in moments from her short lived stint in UGWC in addition to some more training clips. "This weekend is a bit busy for me as I will be taking part in a match on Isle then I will be in that big battle royal. In fact, I am pretty sure there are only two other participants in this match that will have the same schedule as myself. GRIMM, Xavier Rose, and myself will be doing double duty this weekend with both a match on Isle then taking part in the War of Attrition. That should prove to you all that I have no qualms about stepping into the ring against twenty-nine other competitors. I guarantee that by the end of the night you will understand that I don't take this business lightly and that I belong inside a wrestling ring."There is another shift in the montage as clips from Isle episode two rotate into the mix. "I could sit here and try to run down all my known opponents but frankly I will be the first to admit I haven't been around long enough to have a fully accurate understanding of them all. So, I am not going to try to. However, I have to say that I am looking forward to the challenge this match will provide. I know that many of my opponents will address my age or size as being liabilities in this sort of encounter however, I welcome them to overlook me on those grounds. I am even sure someone in this massive clusterfuck of a match will try to play the gender card. Again, bring it on as this business is transcending gender lines for the most part. In fact, Most of the belts here in WWH are open to the entire roster and as such any nimrod who tries to use that as an argument is using less than a full pack of restaurant crayons to play connect the dots."The recap montage comes to an end only to be replaced with a video of ocean waves hitting a sandy beach. "Let us all move on to the next likely thing that will be thrown in my face going into this match. My father and his involvement with the Left Hand. I am sure at least one of the Mensa rejects who represent the lost genius portion of the War of Attrition participant list will try to use this line of attack. I will reiterate a point I made earlier in this very video I AM NOT IN THE LEFT HAND. What my father does to further his long term agenda is done without involvement. However, as I also mentioned I am in Imperium which in time you will understand the distinction of that comment. Hmmm, what is another likely avenue of attack that I will be tossed my way for this match is that a decent percentage of the War of Attrition field has held gold at one point or another in the WWH. Or that a good number of others are current or former champions in other wrestling companies. While it is must be nice to have gold in hand I will remind you that I just started with this company and I am part of a little championship tournament."Isabella falls silent as the image of the beach tide continues to provide a backdrop to the words she was saying. "Oh don't give me that whole 'WWH Management hasn't sanctioned it' spiel to undermine what is happening on Isle. Though with the collective brain power involved with this match I am sure at least a few of my opponents will take the low hanging fruit as they rush down the road well traveled. In those cases I will just say find a manager to help you do your research. At the very least I hope some people out there will take unexpected approaches to this match. I hope that all my commentary in this video countering potential attacks aimed my way will have been for nothing. Yet, I am sure by the time everyone has sent their messages to the WWH website for viewing at least one of the points I have addressed will have come up. After all, the law of averages makes it pretty likely that this video will not have been a waste of my time. Though to be fair some of the contracts I have seen in WWH make me wonder if they even know what the law of averages even is. After all, most people don't think wrestlers need to be smart to be successful in this business."At this point the image of Isabella Thorn fades onto the screen transposed over the background ocean tide. On her lips is a determined grin as she points upwards. After about thirty seconds the image turns to black before being replaced with a series of videos hyping WWH programming. After the last promotional package Isabella's video runs black for a few more seconds, before a clip that has obviously been spliced into the promo begins to air.

Russell The Love Muscle stood just outside Antietam Battlefield. It is forever known as the deadliest single-day battle during the Civil War. He had called a small press conference to make a special announcement in regards to War Of Attrition. This was the perfect location for such an announcement considering the important role it played in American History. He positioned the podium to his liking as he steps forward looking around and noticing just how beautiful the weather is. He was nervous for sure but at the same time, he was glad because the more that heard this message the better. Russell grabs a bottle of water taking a drink to wet his throat as he begins to speak.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today because yours truly has decided to test the fate of the wrestling Gods and enter the War Of Attrition main event. You can call me crazy all you want but anything can happen in an event like this. There are tough guys in this event that do not fully understand what tough even means. There are grizzly veterans who are trying to catch lightning in a bottle and reignite a career that had long since faded into the darkness. Then you this guy right here a certified fatty who is happy being that way. For the longest time, my weight has hindered me to the point I would hide not wanting to be seen. Wrestling helped me overcome that fear real quick and made me realize I have a lot to offer. Most of you would look at me and think I cannot even hold up in an event like this but how do you know? Only two people in this company have seen what I am capable of. Russell The Love Muscle loves being a dark horse the wildcard perhaps that no one saw coming. I do not have enough time in the day to speak about every single person in this match however, being the intelligent guy that I am I've figured out the perfect approach to this. The brand matters in this business maybe even more than the person. Without our brand, we are absolutely useless and lost. So let me break it down for you real quick.
He looks around as the warm spring day makes the big guy sweat in places he did not know existed. Pulling out a moist rag from his pocket, he cools himself off as he continues on with his speech.
I respect all of those who compete on Isle because it shows you are willing to put the work in to compete at a constant high level. However, there is a reason you're considered the minor leagues of wrestling. You try so hard to climb up the ladder and have the biggest hearts but in a match like this you need muscle and you better believe I have plenty of it. Let's look at the list we have here Dark Tiger, Isabella Rose and GRIMM are a few examples. I am not going to stand up here and lie to anyone I have never heard of you until I came here. I am intrigued to be getting in the ring with each of you and see how you handle a real challenge. Clearly, you are the best of the best, or you would not even be in this match to represent the Isle brand. I used to be the rookie athlete looking for my big break and this would be a great chance for each of you but Russell The Love Muscle will stop you in your tracks. A big guy like myself may not seem like a favorite for a match like this but who can move all this muscle over the top rope to eliminate me?
He steps away from the podium as he walks off the stage and makes his way through the crowd of one-hundred people. He was feeling very relaxed at this moment.
When I look at what the company has to offer in this match I see a lot of potential but very weak leaders to maximize their potential. I am a natural-born leader someone that will be the face of the company for years to come. Constantly thinking of ways to outsmart everyone else is crucial to being successful in a match like this. Rumbles are made to test stamina, ability, and intelligence. I am not going to charge my opponent just for them to move out of the way and pull the rope down. I would go flying over, and who would want that. Instead I am going to expose them by finding a weakness and capitalize on it.
Making his way back to the podium he pulls out his notes once more to continue down his list once again taking a deep breath looking straight ahead toward the crowd.
Sanatorium is a brand that is absolutely insane. The entire roster is convicts needing to be locked away and never heard from again. However, when I look at the roster and see the names like Chrissy Winter, John Blade, and Sarah Lynn I see athletes that will make my life miserable if needed but I approve of that kind of message. The tougher you are towards me the stronger I get and I will back up what I say by what I do in the ring. Isle and Sanatorium have champion-caliber members who I consider role models but do not be mistaken I am not going into this match with friends. It is an event that can make the strongest man cry in absolute fear and someone my size was they had never offered to compete. Then you have the bullies of the company we reside in Dystopia. We thrive on being the strongest, fastest and best in the business the moment we wake up until we close our eyes.
Suddenly he stops speaking and turns around facing the battlefield as his voice suddenly changes seeming calmer more than expected.
The event may be called War Of Attrition and most would approach it that way except for me. Regardless of if I am number one or the last entrant every person I see come into the ring I consider them a battle. Twenty-nine battles await me to reach total surrender. It is not something I like to do, but it is time I push my weight around here and show all three brands that my name will be remembered forever when I dominate my way to the end of the main event. Antietam will be forgotten about with the damage that will occur in the ring. There will be bones popping, plenty of screaming, and a whole lot of begging me for mercy. I know each of you may laugh at this broadcast later and want to tell me I told you so but the truth is I will get the final laugh. Some of you seem to think I am a pushover because of my name but don't be fooled. The bell will sound, and Russell The Love Muscle will be transformed into Russell The Pain muscle. I will break each person down in order to stay at the top of my game and when I throw the last person over my hands will be raised. There has been a lot of humbling down by my hands regardless of if people love or hate you. If you are in my way then you're a problem. I can see fear from a mile away and every single soul in this match will fear the muscle. The love I have to give is endless and what better place to spread it around than during the WAR. Make sure you watch the match and review it because I will get nothing but praise for how awesome I am. War Of Attrition is not for the faint at heart. It is about survival and doing whatever it takes to win. This is my time to shine and prove to everyone that I am the real deal. Good luck to everyone because Mr. Love Muscle is going to take names and clear house and there is not a darn thing you can do about it.
He walks off the stage ending the speech. Hours go by as everyone leaves except for him. He stands there knowing what lies ahead but he refused to give in so easily. Russell was tired of being on the defensive it was time for a bombardment of love and War of Attrition was the perfect place to start.

I find myself standing next to the devilishly dressed Omar Riordan. It’s curious to me how I continue to be paired with the diminutive demon gentlemen each time I am to speak. It is as if the Great Satan wants to mock my faith. Hardy harr harr. Look at the warrior of Islam standing side by side with the Satanist. Let’s all point and laugh. But I do my duty. Even beating under this California sun. My frustration is high as it is. Because if I were in my native country, this eighty degree heat would be nothing. A pittance. But the fact that they confine me and house me into uncomfortably air conditioned quarters in the Sanatorium, this sudden influx of springtime heat makes beady drops of sweat race over my brow. I am..surrounded by evidence of your imperialist American waste. The scent of what do you call..corn dogs? Popcorn? ROOT BEER?! In the air? The people discard their food, half eaten. Their drinks, barely sipped. Wasteful. Arrogant. I am suffocated by your happy go lucky carnival extravaganza that only serves to make me hate this place all the more. I will channel that hatred into my message for this War of Attrition vignette.
“Ladies and gentlemen Omar Rioardan here of Sanatorium fame. I am joined right here tonight in the heart of Avalon, California. Outside of the Sanatorium for the very special War of Attrition Pay-Per-View event! Joining me at this time is a man who certainly made his mark on the last edition of Sanatorium, where he tore fellow newcomer Joshua Anderson to pieces! Without any further adieu let me introduce to you, The Arabian Dark Knight himself. The Sinister Evening Star, Alistair Siddiqui!”
I puff out my chest with pride. For all these filthy, disgusting American slugs that I must surround myself with on a daily basis...this Omar Riordan at least knew his proper respects. Under these circumstances, I cannot help but to give the unappreciative public a wide smile. I begin speaking. My excitement breaks my english in a terrible way. But I hope to convey my thoughts and feelings clearly...all the same.
“First of all Mister Riordan. Thank you once again, one more time, for welcoming Alistair Siddiqui. Every intelligent people know, every intelligent Jew...and the thousand thousand Saudi fans around the world. They KNOW about Alistair Siddiqui! They see my debut, everybody see it. I take that Hollywood Blonde. That howdy doody...howdy doody Joshua Anderson. I take him, and I break his back old country way! Yeah! Mister jabroni Anderson, he run away with his ah how do you say, tail between his legs! And Evening Star, Siddiqui! Is the one who prove once again, one more time, that Saudi’s number one! Alistair Siddiqui number one! America? Hack tooey!”
I do not have to see Omar to feel the vibrations from his person. He is doing his best professional effort to not burst into tears of laughter. My eyes shift from side to side, nervous. But I keep my teeth clenched in determination. The anger is boiling up inside me. I feel the greatest of temptations to turn around and begin strangling the bearded troll next to me! But I am also a professional! I will not ruin this chance at freedom. This opportunity before me to escape the Sanatorium. The miserly troll continues his questioning.
“You certainly proved your point against your last opponent, Alistair. You did indeed! But your second match cannot possibly be any more difficult. The odds of winning the War of Attrition are astronomical! Let alone, you will be alone in that ring! No allies, no friends to speak of. I hope you forgive me by my saying you are a loner among loners. Understandably, your holy mission ostracizes you from many who do not see things your way. We’ve seen it first hand! But speaking of hands, have you seen what is going on at Dystopia? Do you know of the Left Hand and it’s attempts to take over this entire event and company? Will you join the Left Hand to give yourself a greater chance at winning the War of Attrition?”
For someone being a backstage interviewer, he certainly enjoys hearing the sound of his own voice, this Omar Riordan. It’s like your politicians. Your overly wordy and flowery media. It is the mark of a society that has grown fat from the safety of your position as a ruinous world power. I cannot contain my disdain.
“You ask me excellent excellent question Mr. Riordan. The War of Attrition, it has dark cloud hanging over it. Everything we do, it is under the eye of a man, strong intelligent, great fighter Baphomet. Left Hand eclipses even the Evening Star. Nobody know how Alistair Siddiqui going to do in the Rumble! But what they don’t know, will hurt them. They call me the Arabian Dark Knight. And there is good reason for that! Siddiqui work best in the shadows. Tunnel into hollow earth, come out other side, unscathed! Alistar look into the eyes of those who call themselves Sinister! Even most intelligent Baphomet, he only know half of it. You think darkness is your ally? Siddiqui was born in it! Molded by it! Siddiqui not know of the stench of American filth in great American country, California, until he was already a man! It sickens me, Mr. Riordan! It sickens me to see it!”
I take off my turban in anger and throw it upon the ground. Omar does not seem to be laughing at my cadence now. As much as he wants to giggle at my blatant references to your American Dark Knight films. The anger and hatred seething from my person makes it so that being in my immediate presence is quite uncomfortable. I can tell he wishes to ask more questions. But he is afraid to approach. My aura of rage cannot be contained. My eyes have gone wild with adrenaline and righteous fury. I will not wait for another meandering question from this hoity toity interviewer. I TAKE the microphone from his hands, and I continue my message!
“I do not know what allegiance this Left Hand has. What nation they call home. All I know is, they permeate everything within this War of Attrition. Nobody know about Siddiqui. They underestimate the Evening Star. Exactly! I do not come here to this American country, this War of Attrition, and try and say Alistair eliminate everybody! Not even by grace of great allah do I do that! But I tell you now. Siddiqui will fight smartest! Most intelligent American fighters, they will do their best. As it to be expected! But I know I cannot eliminate every man, woman and child. I will eliminate only those who come for Siddiqui! They call it how do you say, picking your spots! And I pick them very well. It’s true! You see, Alistair see this War of Attrition, as Siddiqui’s ticket out of the Sanatorium! I destroy Mr. Hollywood Blonde Joshua Anderson. But I will escape this prison. I will win this War! And I will use this shot, to move to Dystopia. To Dreamstate Pay Per View. Siddiqui will realize his own dream. That is becoming heavyweight champion of the world!’
I flex my muscles. I trace my palms across my solar plexus sculpted from Stone of Jordan. I am not the most cut or defined of individuals. You can see that I started my journey as an overweight child that had to work to obtain some form of definition. I am reminded of my own well to do upbringing in the province of Khobar with my adoptive Saudi Prince of a father. I am reminded of how much harder I must work to avoid the temptation of my past comforts, these American luxuries I am afforded. Will the Left Hand tempt me with similar worldly possessions? Do they offer something of greater substance? I wonder...
“And if this howdy doody Left Hand want to stop Siddiqui? I will cut it off like thief in the market! If Baphomet believe in Allah, believe in the Quran, believe in the teachings of great prophet Muhammad. Maybe perhaps we make-a some sort of deal, no? With the Sah’ta and the Lycana and the Belladona! Look at me! Look at Siddiqui! Any intelligent Jew man, they want to BE the Arabian Dark Knight! Twenty-sixteen. Bronze medal winner. One-hundred thirty kilos! Rio Olympic Champion! Twenty-eighteen wrestling championships! I was the Azizli coach! I was the Chunayev coach! I was the Stadnik coach! Gold Medal Bronze. You name it, we win it! People KNOW! They see Siddiqui, they see wrestling excellence! You want to take over this company? You side with Alistair! I will win this War, and you can join me in Dreamstate. Take over the world! It is written, in the stars! Ya allah! Ya Mohammad! As-Salamu Alaykum! Almawt Lilkifaar!”

The camera shows Sarah Lynn standing in her cell looking at the hallway outside it.
Sarah Lynn: Once again I’m in my cell thinking about a war against my past my present and my future.
Sarah Lynn walks over to her bed. She then sits on her bed and then lies down on it.
Sarah Lynn: The first person who I want to talk about is Gothica Skylight someone who I have history with. We both faced each other in our debut match in WWH. In that match I defeated her and then a couple of Sanatorium episodes later we had a rematch. In that rematch it was the exact same story I defeated Gothica Skylight. However, it’s before the second match when I was in a position similar to this when I talked about the possibility of selling my soul to the devil if it would help my life and career. I believe I said it was interesting because only I knew who I had tried to phone. To this day it still looks like only I know what Kirsty Mascara is capable of. As for you Gothica I’m already two and zero against you therefore if I have to I will embarrass you for the third time.
Sarah Lynn sits on her bed.
Sarah Lynn: Speaking of embarrassing people again I want to talk about Christy Winters. I remember us facing Christy, I defeated you, however, I then had to watch as you faced names like Eden and Kiki, became a champion, and then lost that same championship one episode of Sanatorium later. During all of that time, I thought that I deserved your opportunities more because of the fact that I defeated you but now I know that after I win The War Of Attrition Match I can go for the biggest prize which is something that I really don’t think that you’ll ever be good enough to hold.
Sarah Lynn smiles.
Sarah Lynn: Speaking of the biggest prize I noticed that V is on the list of names also competing in The War Of Attrition Match. V to my knowledge you hold the prize on Sanatorium however to my knowledge you’ve not defended it a very long time. In fact, you’ve not had a match since you defeated The Phantom at least three episodes of Sanatorium ago. Meanwhile, I’m competing on every single episode of Sanatorium, building up a very nice winning streak. While you V come across as a part-time wrestler who is proud of the fact that he gets the top bonuses here. We all know how it works in here V you’re the one being served well done cooked Steaks while the ones at the bottom are being served something that tastes like grease. I’ve got some news for you V I’m sick and tired of how I get treated in her therefore if we cross paths in The War Of Attrition Match I’m the one who is going to eliminate you from it personally. I’m the one who after you’ve been eliminated from the match you’re going to stare right in the eyes of with full intent of getting revenge over. At that moment you’ll know that the only way that you can finish what’s been started with me is if you put your Asylum Championship on the line against me at DreamState. Finally, at Dreamstate you V fall into my trap and you lose everything to me. V some people might say that I’m over my head but I’m a woman with a mission and being the one who steps up and embarrasses you is what I must do.
Sarah Lynn stands up.
Sarah Lynn: After talking about my plans for V I want to take a major step back and talk about my history with John Blade. Unlike me, John Blade tries to dream big but he never achieves them ever. I think we once competed in a Triple Threat Match where the two losers had to go to The Infirmary for adjustments but somehow he still came out of it the exact same boring John Blade who he was before he went in. When you’re the reason why he had to go in there, to begin with, you start to wonder what did they try to do to him and why didn’t it have any kind of positive result on him? It won’t matter because after I eliminate him, he’ll just be another stat.
Sarah Lynn walks over to a wall.
Sarah Lynn: The next person who I want to talk about is The Phantom. He is the biggest man in this match, however, he’s already learned that the bigger they are, the harder they fall when they face me one on one. I admit that pinning you is different when it’s compared to throwing you over the top rope with both of your feet hitting the floor. However, I’m not afraid of being the one who finds a way to do it. I am however very curious about your current record in WWH because the you who I faced had a lot of hype because he was a former WWH Tag Team champion. So my question is what have you done recently that wasn’t losing a big match?
Sarah Lynn puts her hands on the wall.
Sarah Lynn: The next person who I want to talk about is Orianna. This one is very interesting to talk about because unlike everyone else who I’ve mentioned so far we teamed together and not faced in a match. Unlike everyone else in this match you and I have talked and discussed the fact, we’ve got enemies in common. The only issue that you and I have is the fact that we have to go through each other in order to win The War Of Attrition Match. Orianna no offense but newly developed friendship aside I need to win this match so that I can prove to everyone that I deserve better than I’ve had. You can have your moment at any other point that you choose. This is my time to shine and I’m not wasting the opportunity. Orianna it doesn’t matter what kind of friendship or partnership we have because I will eliminate you if I have to.
Sarah Lynn takes her hands off of the wall. She then leans back first on the wall.
Sarah Lynn: I’m now going to take some time to talk to Kirsty Mascara directly. Kirsty yes it’s true you and I were best friends at wrestling training. Yes, I am the reason why you’re in WWH today. However, we both know that the only reason why you signed up for The War Of Attrition Match was so you could make a name for yourself. You want people to remember the name, Kirsty Mascara. However I can’t help but feel like it looks a bit suspicious, did you disappear at the end of my last promo so that you could compete in this match against my back? Are you even in any danger that you need to be saved from? Does my soul really need to be sold to a devil? Kirsty I’m going to get to the bottom of this but until I do I’m going to give you a message. If this is some kind of plan then the only problem with it is you’re got to face me now. Let me tell you Kirsty that just because we’re friends from a long time ago doesn’t mean I’m going to go easy on you. I’m in this match to win it and that means you’re just another obstacle for me to overcome. So Kirsty if I have to throw you over the top rope then I will. I just hope that you understand it’s nothing personal, just business.
Sarah Lynn stops leaning against the wall.
Sarah Lynn: Also in this War Or Attrition Match we have lake Anderson, Russell the Love Muscle, Belladonna Anderson, Jonna Austin, Jonny Cedrone, Stephanie Matsuda, Latoya Hixx, Crash Rodriguez, Victoria Lyons, Darin Zion, Maggie McIntyre, Havoc, Gabe Reno, Alistair Siddiqui, GRIMM, Dark Tiger, Isabella Thorn, Xavier Rose, and four mystery spots. Some of you are from Isle, Dystopic, and even Sanatorium. Some of you are in this match with champions, some of you are former champions. To me, it doesn’t matter how far you’ve gone in WWH because at the end of the day each and every single one of you is in my way. I’m not afraid of any of you. In fact, I welcome a challenge from each of you. I know what I can eliminate any of you at any point. I’m ready to go to war and just because I’ve not met any of you doesn’t mean I won’t take you down.
Sarah Lynn stops talking for a few seconds.
Sarah Lynn: I’m going to end this by remaindering everyone that I am The Fate Changer Sarah Lynn, and I will change my fate.

The camera shows an Unknown Room in black and white with Kirsty Mascara is standing next to a wall. The camera zooms out and shows tables and desks with Twenty-nine monitors, twenty-five of which have different faces on them while the last four have question marks on them. The camera zooms in on Kirsty Mascara.
Kirsty Mascara: First of all would like to thank the asylum staff for leaving so many old tables, desks, and monitors in storage cupboards for me to borrow. Don’t worry I’ll return everything after I’m finished, I just needed them to help me out with this next part. Blake Anderson, Russell the Love Muscle, Belladonna Anderson, Jonna Austin, Jonny Cedrone, Stephanie Matsuda, Latoya Hixx, Crash Rodriguez, Victoria Lyons, Darin Zion, Maggie McIntyre, Havoc, Gabe Reno, Christy Winters, John Blade, Orianna Johnson, Alistair Siddiqui, V, Phantom, Gothica Skylight, GRIMM, Dark Tiger, Isabella Thorn, Xavier Rose, and Sarah Lynn those are the faces that you see on the monitors. As for those four question marks they represent surprise entrants also included in the War Of Attrition Match.
The camera shows the monitors change to showing tornados instead.
Kirsty Mascara: As for the tornadoes they represent my state of mind going into this match. You see I’m the one taking the biggest risk of all by competing in this match. It’s my debut match, that makes me the underdog. What a lot of people might not understand is I’ve felt like an underdog my entire life. I’ve been underestimated by family and friends. Two Sarah Lynn promos ago I said six words “My incest fantasying twin brother Edward.” I know some of you are hearing those words are most likely taking out the word fantasying, so let me clarify I never did anything with my brother. He was a creep who thought what was mine was his as well. I remember one day I was bullied at school by some older kids, went home and cried on my bed, Edward came into my room asked me what was wrong, so I told him what had happened and then afterwards he hugged me but I could feel his hands trying to touch other parts of my body.
The computer monitors show pictures of trees.
Kirsty Mascara: Trees how could I forget about them? My brother used to climb a tree to look at my window while I was getting dressed. He didn’t believe in boundaries, he just believed that his own twin sister was someone who he could use for his own pleasure.
The computer monitors change to the word “Sacrifice.”
Kirsty Mascara: As I was growing up and I knew that my brother’s attitude towards me was going to get worse instead of better. I made a very tense decision that my family didn’t support at all. I came out of a closet and said that I was a lesbian. At the time I was so disgusted by my brother that I really couldn’t imagine any other guy on the planet anywhere doing to me what he did, so I decided to never face it. Ever since then I’ve never been comfortable about the idea of a relationship, however, I know that when I do have one it’ll be with a woman who appreciates that I need privacy.
The computer monitors change to the word “Secret.”
Kirsty Mascara: It was around that point when secrets started talking to me. They told me that it didn’t matter how bad my life got one day it would get better. I believed that voice but up to this point, I’ve never had a reason to think this is the highest point of my life. Every time I’m happy something comes up that takes it all away.
The computer monitors change to the words “Wrestling training days.”
Kirsty Mascara: When I was fourteen, I came across a wrestling training school I said that I wanted to try it. My parents were hesitant to let me and said only if my brother went with me. My response was yuk but I was very keen to try it so I didn’t argue against it. On our first day in wrestling training I saw Sarah Lynn receiving high praise, comments like she was the future of professional wrestling, one day she would sign with a bigger company, and to be honest, I was proud of her but at the same time, I wanted to be the one receiving that exact same praise. So I worked hard to earn respect in wrestling training. While my brother however thought it was all a joke. He didn’t understand the fact that if you take professional wrestling seriously it can open doors for you. He didn’t want to be a big name professional wrestler he wanted to embarrass me.
Kirsty Mascara stops talking for a few seconds.
Kirsty Mascara: After our first wrestling training session ended I walked up to Sarah Lynn and told her that she was really good, She thanked me and questioned it being my first day. I told her it was. Then she told me that if I ever need any advice to contact her and she would give me pointers. My brother didn’t like the fact that I was making a new friend. He wanted me to be all his. That sense of jealously could be another contribution to how I ended up in here, to begin with.
The computer monitors change to a picture of Sarah Lynn.
Kirsty Mascara: I’m going to jump forward to the end of Sarah Lynn’s last promo. Sarah and I were talking just fine until she talked about wanting to become a champion and how she hopes that would be enough to help her leave the asylum. At that moment reality hit me. My best friend, the only person in here who I can trust is willing to leave me here so that she can progress in her own career. So I disappeared to figure things out leaving behind a message to remind her of something that she said in the past a message that said “Would you sell your soul to the devil to save your friend?”
The monitors change to a picture of a devil.
Kirsty Mascara: I am the devil she needs in here to help her and she is the friend I need to save me. You just need to look at the fact that I’m still in black and white. That’s because I know my reality. I know why I’m in here and I know that I can’t just leave here at any point. I would go as far as saying that my brother and his mafia friends are rigging the system so that I end up doing more time in here and they somehow find a way to add more charges against me. It’s an interesting problem with a sibling rivalry because you never expect it to go as far as mine did. I didn’t know my brother could betray me and help a mafia lock me up in here. What does it tell you about him when it’s his solution to me refusing to do what he wanted? I knew what he was doing was wrong, but he didn’t see it that way. He refused to accept that it was. So here I am now in here with nothing except stories to tell you about me being an underdog all throughout life.
The computer monitors change to the words “Fight”
Kirsty Mascara: The thing about being an underdog is it makes you a fighter. I signed up for the War Of Attrition because I’ve got something to prove. I’m in this match because I’m sick and tired of people taking advantage of me and it’s time for me to step up and prove those people wrong. The winner of the War Of Attrition match receives a championship match at DreamState. After I win the War Of Attrition match I will no longer be treated as an underdog. That means I can finally have a moment where I’m respected. That means people will finally have to take me seriously. It will be the moment that I’ve waited for my entire life. In life, you’re taught to dream big and soon you’re all going to see that’s exactly what I did and I saw it through right to the end. The thing about life experiences like mine is they’re motivating. They teach you to be a better person than the ones who took advantage of you and made you feel like you’re nothing. I know for a fact that one day I will look back on everything that’s happened in my life and say that I overcame it and I’m now a much better person. My name is Kirsty Mascara and I am a secret. I’m so confident in myself having a life-changing moment that I’m going to have one right now.
As the cameras begin to fade The Unknown Room shows color.

War of Attrition Promo #1
“Podcast Vibes”
(The camera opens to controversial podcaster Adam22 sitting with wrestling superstar Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda as they come back from commercial break.) Adam22: Welcome back to No Jumper, coolest podcast in the world. If you weren’t around for hour one, I’m here with multi-champion Stephanie Matsuda. Before the break, we were discussing her upcoming PWN Unified World Championship Match at Final Destination. Now, Matsuda, you’re no stranger to crossovers. You have a history of being signed to multiple promotions and even defending titles in other places. Stephanie Matsuda: Right.Adam22: So now that we’re on the subject of World Wrestling Headquarters, which after checking it out, is some of the wildest shit I’ve seen. I’m not even much of a wrestling guy, but holy shit, bro. So on the subject of crossovers, the Dystopia brand was invaded, right?
Stephanie Matsuda: At the end of the show, some people from the X-treme Wrestling Federation who calls themselves the Left Hand exposed themselves to the world. (Stephanie rubs her chin for a moment.) Stephanie Matsuda: Wait, there were some of our people involved too. I recall seeing Blake Anderson out there. I guess they’re like a super faction, which is something I haven’t seen in years, Adam.Adam22: I remember growing up and seeing these massive stables in the 90s, you know?
Stephanie Matsuda: Yeah, it was the same in Japan. I spent my teenage years in Tokyo and I remember the promotions there would have like ten guys to a group fighting for a variety of titles. This time around It had a similar, but more malicious vibe to it. Maybe it’s the whole occult symbiology, but I pity the soul who doesn’t take them seriously. Adam22: Do you think they’ll be a problem for you? I mean you saw what they did to the CEO. I know you’re a badass Steph, but you can’t take on a whole army.
(Stephanie nodded as she leaned back and crossed her arms, deep in thought.) Stephanie Matsuda: I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with The Revolutionaries and The Ashes of the Wake last year and in one-on-one competition I’ve beaten most of them. At the beginning of this year, I would lose my Women’s World Championship to Renee Jonae who improved by leaps and bounds since we last fought. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same for Jonny Cedrone. He was a good International Champion and I look forward to meeting him in the War of Attrition Match. As for this “Left Hand” group, I’m familiar with Blake Anderson and his waifu. Belladonna was a successful defense during my Women’s World title run and as for Blake, Serenity sent his ass packing back in 2019. There’s that Isle girl, Gothica Skylight, who has some choice words for our CEO before introducing the brainchild behind this operation: Baphomet.(Stephanie sighs.) Adam22: Sounds hardcore, huh?Stephanie Matsuda: I guess? Something about him feels...unsettling. I’m not shaken or anything, but I won’t be walking around with my guard down either. I guess after failing to capture the International Championship, Sah’ta Thor decided to make a deal with the devil. As if Imperium wasn’t enough.Adam22: Thor’s group?Stephanie Matsuda: Yeah. I feel like I’m in a wrestling stable version of Inception, where you have stables inside of bigger stables. I guess it’s better to travel with numbers, though there’s an obvious downside.Adam22: What’s that?Stephanie Matsuda: Bigger groups make themselves easier to pick off one by one. There’s an inflated ego with these people because they feel they can’t be touched, but only one person can win the War of Attrition Match. I didn’t enter the previous year as I wanted to focus on winning the Women’s World Championship, but this time around my goal is to main event Dreamstate. I’ve said this before Adam- I won’t stop at anything to earn the sixth world title reign of my career.
Adam22: If things get a little too hot for you out there on the battlefield, do you think there’s anyone you can rely on? You did have a falling out with Serenity, the daughter of your mentor.
Stephanie Matsuda: I did, unfortunately. The way she made it sound, it was as if I was using her family. It seems she easily forgot how much of a pain she was for her mother after her father passed. We knew she was grieving in her own way. When I trained her, she learned discipline and respect for herself and others. We all have losing streaks every now and then. It doesn’t give you the right to take it out on someone who actually gives a damn about you. Serenity and Jocelyn were like sisters. If Serenity is that upset about losing then she needs to look in the mirror.Adam22: Personal responsibility, right?Stephanie Matsuda: Yeah! Serenity has nobody to blame but herself. But enough about her. I’m told by her mother and Jocelyn herself that Serenity is hands-off until Joce recovers.
Adam22: Revenge huh? I dig it. Back to this War of Attrition Match. Is there anyone you’re worried about?(Stephanie shrugged as she rubbed her chin and considered the opposition.) Stephanie Matsuda: There’s the Aslyum Champion himself, V. He’s definitely someone on my radar. While I’m not familiar with Christy Winters, I know her sister Kayla. Our relationship...is unique. But more on that another time. John Blade? Everyone knows the legend John Blade!(Stephanie laughs and shakes her head.) Stephanie Matsuda: Let’s see...who else is out there that I’m familiar with? Reno...we’ve existed in the same circles, but we’ve never met personally. As for Latoya Hixx, Orianna Johnson, Joanna Austin, and other members of the women’s division, they’ve been on my heels during my time as Women’s Champion but couldn’t come close enough to touch me. Adam22: Then there’s Havoc.Stephanie Matsuda: Yeah...Havoc. The former World Champion whose presence antagonizes everyone he comes across, except for yours truly. I proved to the world who was the better double champion, and after he lost to me he became a shell of his former self. Now I have my eyes towards the future and that’s Dreamstate. I just need to get past thirty fucking people. It’s funny, Adam. People talk about what’s the best way to approach a battle royal, but the only thing you can do is survive. The longer you’re in this match, the more you have to take into account. After a while, you’re no longer operating on strategy, but rather instinct. Hell, it became like that when I was fighting Thor on the last Dystopia. He was coming at me with everything he had, but at some point, I had to power through it. The War of Attrition Match is a test of will and stamina. Being clever can only get you so far. Adam22: I’m here on the website and not every entrant has been announced for this match. Who do you think might make an appearance? (Stephanie shrugged and sat back.) Stephanie Matsuda: Could be anybody. A couple of old-timers, maybe some fresh faces. But if I had to put my money on anything, it would be members of the Left Hand. What perfect way to get your message across than for one of their members to win WOA. But either way, no matter who makes their way out, I’ll be ready. I didn’t get a chance to be at last year’s event so I’ll make up for lost time by being the baddest bitch alive. I’m not leaving Dystopia until I’ve won every championship. I haven’t been this driven in a long time, Adam. I wish I could’ve held the women’s belt for a year, but I look at this as a sign to move forward. Renee earned her victory. Now it’s time for yours truly to earn the right to face Zolton. Baphomet thinks the Left Hand is going to ingrain their DNA into Dystopia, but he doesn’t realize that he and his people stepped into Cloud Country. And in the realm of The Queen of Fighters, there’s only one monarch. That’s yours truly. Adam22: I can imagine the Left Hand having something to say about that.
Stephanie Matsuda: They can say what they want. At the end of the day, I will walk away from this match as the lone survivor at War of Attrition. After all, I held my foot to Dystopia’s neck for over six months.Adam22: Apparently the Left Hand is doing the same now.(Stephanie shakes her head, smiling.) Stephanie Matsuda: Not yet. They have yet to face me.(Adam22 nods.) Adam22: We’ll see. Thank you for coming in, Matsuda.Stephanie Matsuda: Likewise, Adam. And I’ll see everyone else in the ring. Know it. Understand it. Believe it.

As we open, we see that we are directly outside of The Isle Training Facility in Humboldt Bay. As the camera zooms in closer, we see some trainees heading inside the facility. As the camera attempts to move in closer, one of the trainees looks to see it trying to enter.
Trainee #1 "Hey, what do you think you're doing? This is a closed training. Do you have permission to be here?"
Then the second trainee looks at the first.
Trainee #2 "Dude, you didn't hear did you. Bossman is entering the War of Attrition match to the main roster that The Isle facility is legit and ready to show the world the style of combat that we are being taught here."
Trainee #1 "Oh wow. Then, come on in."
Then the trainees open the door and let the camera crew in and they get to see inside of the Isle Training facility. The camera catches various training sessions going on. Then the two trainees run to the main ring and see a somewhat familiar figure doing rope runs and whatnot.
Trainee #2 "Um, excuse me; Bossman..."
The figure looks up and removes the hood from the muscle shirt-style hoodie.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "Excuse me, this is a closed training session. Why are you bothering me, trainee?"
The trainee explains the situation that the camera crew is here to ask about the War of Attrition match and whatnot. Gary nods and ushers the trainees away.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "So, you're here to ask me about my entry into the War of Attrition Match and various other matters going on in the company? Let's start with the obvious one. Yes, I have entered the War of Attrition Match as a representative for my new home, the brand known as Isle. I figured it was about time that reenter the ring to show that not only do I still got it but that this brand is legit and ready to bring the next generation of talent into the W.W.H. as a whole regardless if its for Sanatorium or Dystopia. In the end, 'The Soulless King' will reign supreme and challenge for whatever title I damn feel like. I might challenge for the World Heavyweight Title, currently held by Zolton; the International Title, which is currently held by Stephanie Matsuda; and/or I might go after the Affliction Title; which is currently held by Vincent Lyons, Jr. Or I might go back to my old stomping grounds in the Sanatorium and challenge for the Asylum Title currently held by V; the Demolition Title; which is currently held by fellow Order of the Soulless and legit family member in Chucky Ross; and/or I might challenge for the Underground Title currently held Aaron Jones. So if... Scratch that, when I win the War of Attrition, I'll let you know my decision in due time."
Then he goes back to doing some exercises and training methods when a crew member interrupts him.
Crew Member "Excuse me, what is your opinion on this new insurgent group known as The Left Hand?"
Gary stops what he is doing and turns to face the crew member.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "Excuse me, an insurgency is occurring? In the W.W.H.? What the bloody fucking hell?"
He grabs the crew member by the scruff of his shirt and pulls them into the ring.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "A new group is trying to sow chaos here in the W.W.H! I AM THE MOTHERFUCKING SHIT STARTER FOR CHAOS HERE IN THE W.W.H.! THEY WILL HAVE TO DO THIS OVER MY DEAD FUCKING BODY!"
Then he shoves the crew member in between and calls for the end by lifting them onto his shoulder. After a few moments, he winks at the camera before dropping them with his finisher, the Mission Statement. Immediately after performing it, he motions for the camera to enter the ring and zoom in on his face.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "LEFT HAND, YOU WANT TO START A WAR AND INVOLVE THE ORIGINAL KING OF CHAOS HERE IN THE W.W.H.! THEN YOU HAVE GOTTEN MINE AND THE REST OF MY FAMILY'S FUCKING ATTENTION! YOU WANT TO THINK YOU CAN WALTZ IN HERE AND START SOME SHIT AND NOT HAVE SOMEONE LIKE ME FUCKING NOTICE! I AM ONE OF THE ORIGINALS SINCE THIS COMAPNY RESTARTED IN 2015! AND BOYS AND GIRLS OF THE LEFT HAND, YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING TO START SHIT HERE ON THE ISLE, THEN YOU SADLY FUCKING MISTAKEN! YOU WILL HAVE TO FUCKING RIP THE KEYS TO THIS FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!"
Then he looks at the camera with eyes filled with rage and they also appear to be changing into more of a reddish color indicting a certain persona might be reemerging. He walks over to a corner and starts beating his head against the top turnbuckle.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black (sort of whispering to himself) "Calm down, my dude. You don't need that side of you coming out right now. You have done fine for yourself without 'him' coming out."
Crew Member "Excuse me, sir. Are you alright?"
Gary turns around and walks up to be in the face of the crew member.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "I am just dandy, my dear boy. Sorry for your friend/associate, they pushed a certain set of 'buttons' and partially triggered a side of me that hasn't been out in awhile. Now, what's your next question in regards to the War of Attrition?"
The crew member slowly takes a few steps back as some trainees can be seen helping the downed crew member get out of the ring.
Crew Member "Care to give us a brief rundown on any of your opponents?"
Gary ponders for a moment or two as he paces in the corner. Then a "light bulb" hits him.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "Besides the obvious one like Johnny Cedrone, Stephanie Matsuda, Havoc, Maggie McIntyre, the Left Hand fucks that are in this match, V, and my 'brother-in-arms' Phantom. No, but I can run down the ones that I have listed if that will help."
The crew member nods their head in agreement. They motion for the rest of the crew to enter the ring and partially set up their mics. Once setup, they await for Gary to begin.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "For starters, I nothing but respect for everyone in this War of Attrition match. But these people are the ones that I view as the most challenging. Let's start off with Cedrone. Cedrone, I have but respect for what you have done here in your time in the company. You have gone toe-to-toe with some of the greats on Dystopia. But now, you can fight against a Hall of Heroes member and former champion in his own right. So best of luck to you. The same can be said for Matsuda and Havoc. You both were double champions at one time. Matsuda, you currently hold a title that I can challenge for once I win. Havoc, you have already won this match once and showed the world that you are definitely championship material. Stand aside and let someone who hasn't get their chance to shine. Maggie, you are new to this company. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Gary Black, 'The Soulless King' and proud leader to the Order of The Soulless and by default The Soulless Sisters. I wish you the best of luck in this match and if we fight, may the best technician/striker win."
Then he pauses for a few moments before continuing.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "Now let's move onto V. The current holder of the Asylum Title, another title that I can challenge for. I have nothing but respect for you and what you have done to elevate the title since taking it away from Nikki Caldwell. I have held that title in the past and I am more than willing to fight you for it whenever the time is right and I win this thing. Phantom, you are my 'brother-in-arms' in the Order but remember this is war, so all bets are off. But my the better Soulless win."
Then he pauses and grimaces a bit before continuing.
"The Soulless King" Gary Black "Now we move onto The Left Hand fucks. Honestly, step to me and you will fall like the others that have stepped up to me, The Order of The Soulless, and the W.W.H. as a whole. YOU WILL FUCKING EXPEREINCE A BLACKOUT! EITHER GO FUCKING DIE IN A CORNER SOMEWHERE OR FIGHT US LIKE MEN! And on that note, you all need to get the fuck out of here. I have the next generation of talent to train. See you all at The War of Attrition."
Then the scene fades to black.

...WHAT IS WAR?*War is something that comes around way too much. Going to war is a path that every man and woman must go through to make history. That statement would be said ultimately for one man, and that man is Chris Matthews. Chris has been to war in his professional and personal life. Chris has gone to war with other wrestlers, people on Twitter, people of other countries during his time in the service, and yes, even with himself. He has won some of those wars but at the same time lost some. But there is one war that he could never beat, and that's the War of Attrition.*
*The scene comes up on a black screen with a lightbulb shining brightly in the middle. There was enough light to show up for one person. That's when that one person walks into the spotlight, and it was Chris Matthews. He's wearing black loose-fitting jeans, a white shirt, a black leather jacket, and black steel-toe shoes. There is fog forming from the sides as the camera moves closer, and that's when Chris Matthews looks at the camera with a smile.*
"You all miss me? I know I sure missed you guys. I have to say that I'm not one hundred percent healthy to come back to the ring, but this was too good of a chance to pass up. How can you have a match like this without Chris Matthews attending? Let me tell you all right now you can't. You can't have this type of match without me showing my face, can you? Nah, everyone knows that when I'm involved, I make history, and I do that every single time I step in the ring. This time will be no different for me, and everyone knows it. War of Attrition is something that can, and will make history once again."
"But how will I do that, you ask? Easy, I throw out anyone that stands in my way to get to the grandest stand in WWH history, DreamState. I know that these type of matches is never easy, but let's be honest, I never want anything easy. I want to challenge myself to show that I'm the best, and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to prove once again why I am the main event player in this entire company."
*He thinks back at all the time that he got eliminated in this type of match. How can Chris erase the past and finally be the last man standing? He knows a few people in this match, but others he can't think about that.*
"I think of the past of all the people who have eliminated me from this. Nick Sanderson, Randy Fields, Noah Hanson, and so many others have done what I couldn't, and that pisses me off. Those people have gone on and main event the grandest stage that WWH has. This year, I'm going to do what they did to me and win. I'm going to win it because I have more heart and soul than anyone that came before me. I busted my ass for this company, and I don't get the respect that I deserve. Why? What do I have to do to get that respect? I know what I got to do, and that's winning. I'm going to win this entire thing and headline DreamState where I belong."
*He lowers his head as he takes a moment to get his thoughts together. Chris knows that he has failed, but he has always bounced back, and this will be no different from any other time. He brought his head back up and crossed his arm over his chest.*
"Being in this match gives me everything that I could hope for, and I'm not going to tell you a sob story on why I deserve to win because that's not me. But you better believe that my heart has always bled for this company. I busted my ass for this company and will continue to do that. I don't care who is in this match because I will end as many people as I can to win and break their little hearts."
*He gets a look on his face to show how he feels about being in this match. He knows what it takes to last in this match, and he will survive this time around and realize that he's the man who deserves it more than anyone.*
"I have done everything in this company could ask for...sorta. But winning this match will be the cream of the crop for me and heading to DreamState. I want to give you all a warning about me. You're not going into this match and thinking that you'll be able to survive easily cause you won't. It takes an insane amount of energy to get through it, and despite my age, I can still fight and move like the best of them, and everyone knows that."
*The images start to flick throughout his WWH career. It shows his wars with Randy Fields, Nick Sanderson, The order, Jacob Cass, Pandora, and so many others. These images are those of people who Chris turned against or betrayed. It was these images where Chris had to fight to get ahead. Some of them were where he's defeated and laid on the mat, but others where he stands tall with his hand raised in victory.*
*Some other images were moving of him getting hurt and not sure that he could come back. There was a time where he was the Underground Champion and defended his title with a hurt ankle. It showed that his heart was beating no matter how bad his injury was. It then went to XHW Battle of Tokyo, where he went on and faced Pandora Barrett. You see the image of the barbwire stuck in his upper arm. It was there where he ripped it out of his arm and pulled the muscle out of its socket.*
*It goes back to Chris, where he takes off his leather jacket and pulls up the t-shirt sleeve, and looks at the scar on his arm that was left there by Pandora Barrett. It was a scar that reminds him that you can get hurt but can come back and fight with everything that you have. He moves his hand to the scar on his upper arm and points at it. The scar reminds him that he still has a reason to fight, and that's when the sleeve of the t-shirt slides down as he looks back at the camera.*
"The scars on my body are a constant reminder that no matter how bad my injuries are, I will never stop fighting. It helps to know that these scars will heal me and help me rise like a phoenix. I won't stop fighting to get what I'm worth and more. War of Attrition will be the beginning of what I can do in that ring."
*He leans down and grabs his leather jacket, and puts it back on. He straightened it out a bit and breathed in. The look in his eyes shows how far he's willing to finally win a match that has eluded him since the relaunch of WWH.*
"Last year, I was so close to winning it all. I was so close before I got distracted by Havoc and got eliminated by Noah Hanson. But you want to know what that taught me? That being part of the Sanatorium is tougher than anyone could even imagine. People who don't know that can take a look at War of Attrition from last year."
"This year will be my redemption. It will be the beginning of what should've been mine last year. Last year, I should've headline Dreamstate, but I didn't. Everything that happened last year will be erased from the history books, and a new history will unfold."
*He walks backward and leans against the black wall, and looks down as he takes a breather.*
"April 2nd..." *As he said in a stern voice.* "April 2nd will be the day where anything is possible for all men and women, but only one is going to walk out as the last man or women standing."
*He brings his head up while his black hair rests against his eyes and gives off a slight smirk while gives off a soft chuckle.*
"But there can only be one winner, as we all know. At War of Attrition, I'll be the last man standing, and I will climb that turnbuckle. While on that turnbuckle, I will look at the DreamState sign and point at it. I'll be taking back what was mine since the relaunch. When I win the Battle of Attrition, I will make sure you all notice me, and everyone will fall in line and see me as the superior athlete."
*FADES!*

“THE ASHES HAVE FALLEN APART! THEY HAVE BEEN SHATTERED!”
“HAVOC HAS TURNED ON HIS PARTNER!” These words echo in the mind of the Nightmare King having fallen from his throne. Consecutive losses to Zolton and Vincent Lyons Jr. has lead to him losing a grip over the Kingdom he ruled over for more than a year. His pride had taken a hit and the Ashes were falling apart. He had to take the business into his own hand by BRUTALIZING Nikki and her boyfriend. While it hurt Havoc to take out one of his own-- somebody he cared about dearly, but he can’t let personal relationships get in the way of his movement. But the Ashes aren’t done-- There was a change incoming. And War of Attrition was going to become the base of this change. While Havoc had almost lost it all-- the Ashes were planning a comeback and Havoc was going to be the face of this movement.
The scene begins with Havoc sitting on an Iron Throne. While he may have lost his crown, this Sunday provided him with an opportunity to make it right again. The scenery around the throne is quite a contrast to the usual. The throne is surrounded in flames.“It does feel like the world around me is falling apart. A year ago, I made history by becoming the first WORLD champion taking part in the War of Attrition. Why? I had nothing to prove back then and my position in this company will ALWAYS be undisputed. Double Champion. World Champion for 380+ days. Those are not numbers achievable by MOST of the wrestlers in that locker room. Despite having a constant bullseye drawn over my back-- I kept going on and on for MONTHS on end. Nobody could even TOUCH me. While, everybody would be quick to write me off this year, need I remind you who you’re dealing with. I am the dominant champion in the HISTORY of this company. That had to fucking align ALL the troupes backstage to leave a dent on my armor-- and even then, I am standing right here. One night sure can change an opinion, isn’t it? Vincent Lyons Jr. went from being a walking punchline of this town to champion again. Zolton’s disappointing career finally had an accolade worth mentioning after YEARS of being in this company. What I did in the short amount of time I have been part of this organization was unheard of. So much so, that the envy-stricken no-name bastards tried their level best to strike me down. Well-- Motherfucker, I am STILL here. The Ashes are STILL here.” He declared with every bit of pride in him. With the fire getting closer every second but Havoc sat on his throne unfazed. “Dystopia has been a goddamn mess ever since I lost my crown. Those XWF clowns knew better to try this shit under my reign-- People have lost their reason to be afraid. The once untouchable could FINALLY be beaten! Are you happy now? Imagine calling yourself The Revolutionaries and being part of a HATE CRIME committed against my people. Their greed has no bounds-- Speaking of which, I would LOVE to talk about Stephanie Matsuda. After all, there’s a world of hurt coming her way. If she doesn’t realize it yet-- She sure will at War of Attrition. The people who she “pretended” to care about will finally speak their minds. I lay my cards very close to my heart, Matsuda. I am going to expose you just like I exposed Nikki on Dystopia. I cared about her-- I REALLY DID! When somebody takes my hand and joins my movement, I dedicate my LIFE to making them feel accepted-- She was more than just a partner to me. But when I saw here walking down the ramp and cheering on that bastard Kaine-- I couldn’t take it anymore. Something snapped inside of me and EVERYTHING that transpired over the past couple of months flashed in front of my eyes in an instant. I knew EXACTLY the kind of person Nikki was, at that very moment. I knew that I had to do something. I frankly do not care about her relationship with Josh Kaine. She VOWED her allegiance to ME! ONLY ME! And the gall to not only ignore the bullshit that had been going on with Cedrone, The Revolutionaries, Matsuda, and co. BUT TO TURN HER BACK ON ME-- That was the final straw. Nikki Caldwell DIED for me that night. Our bond was eviscerated! It was NOT the death of the Ashes as the entire world perceived it to be. No! Why would I kill my ENTIRE movement-- Something I have worked GENERATIONS to piece together over one treacherous bitch. I would never be able to show my face to my people if I turned my back on them-- I would never be able to FORGIVE myself.” Havoc took in a loud gulp, as his emotions were starting to choke his throat. He somehow controlled himself, trying to break down in front of the world. “You may be wondering why I am sitting here in the middle of a fire pit. Do I have a death wish? *scoffs* I am sure you wish death upon me every second of the day but that’s not what this is. Dystopia and WWH as a whole has not felt the same since they STOLE my titles from me. It feels like walking on coal with no shoes on-- It feels like this place is falling apart. The Ashes were the glue that kept it together and now with the XWF invasion happening-- It’s clear to me that this company and the people running it have lost control over their show. It is sad if you think about it. But that brings me to the point of why I am participating in the War of Attrition this year. While it would be great to get back to where I was not too long ago-- I have chosen to take part in this matchup… just so I can PERSONALLY put an end to this company. WWH needs to BURN and I am ready to get engulfed in the fire with it. And from its ashes will rise a NEW and IMPROVED world that EVERYBODY can be proud of. A world where people can’t run roughshod based on their whims and fancies. A world where we strive for EQUALITY and not backstage politics to get into favorable positions. A world where sinners like The Revolutionaries-- Like Stephanie Matsuda…. Like Nikki, Caldwell has NO place for. Frankly put, I am in this match to make sure that Josh Kaine and Nikki Caldwell REALIZE who they were fucking with. And of course, Stephanie Matsuda. If it takes the last fucking breath out of my body, I am going to make sure that Matsuda does NOT win on Sunday. If that’s the ONLY thing I do.” Havoc said with the fiery determination in his eyes. He wants to DESTROY Matsuda for everything she has done. Setting an example for Kaine and Nikki to see. “Nikki-- You may have chosen to break our bond… But now I get to make a choice. A choice of PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY breaking you apart. And just so I can enjoy every fucking second of your misery, I am going to gut that fucking bastard Josh Kaine right in front of your eyes and there is NOTHING you’ll be able to do about it. I am going to use his insides as a jump rope as I skip over my problems and burn this bitch to the ground. This fire may seem dangerous but it is NOTHING in comparison to fire inside of my heart-- The desire to see my people succeed. The NEED to bring JUSTICE to my people. This isn’t the last you have heard of me or the Ashes. Everything that happened over the last year was JUST the beginning. My power will grow. My influence will reach its newest heights. WWH WILL BE THE BREEDING GROUND FOR THE ASHES TO PROSPER! And War of Attrition will be the focal point of this change. It will be my redemption story. Nikki-- I thought only DEATH could do us apart. Now, I only wish to bring death upon you with my own hands. I wish to END WWH for what they did to me. I want to DESTROY the field for the nativity they have shown ever since my supposed fall. A King CHOOSES to step away from his throne. I haven’t left. And the fire… The fire will engulf me as a whole. As I will RISE up like the Phoenix from the Ashes, stronger than ever! It’s time for my Phoenix to spread his wings. It’s time to take flight.”

The scene cuts open in a high scale bar out in the Chicago, Illinois area. The bar sits completely empty lit only by the bright Chicago night skyline. Suddenly, the lights flick on and the sound echoes through the vacant bar followed by footsteps walking up directly to a bar. We come into focus and see Darin Zion wearing a grey Kiton suit with a golden Rolex on his right hand. His crimson vest sticks out as he walks behind the bar and reached up to the top shelf where a bottle of Blanton’s Original Single barrel whiskey straight down. He reaches out for an expensive crystal shot glass before pouring his shot and downing it fast. He beats his chest in pride before leaning forward on the counter and motioning for the camera guy to come closer.
Darin Zion: Usually in these introduction promos; I’m supposed to build clout for how much I’m excited to enter a new playground filled with great new talents. We’re all supposed to be cordial, shake hands, hit the reset button and I’m just supposed to just flush 15 years of blood, sweat, and tears down the toilet and start over. I should just set aside the 24 different championship accomplishments I earned and only talk about WWH and how great it’s World Championships. You know…like a good ole’ boy does in this business. It’s just precedence set in this business…
Darin Zion reaches over towards the bottle of Blanton’s and looks it over before pouring himself another shot, downing it in record time before he slams the glass down on the counter. He smirks, walking with confidence chuckling to himself before he shakes his finger straight at the camera.
Darin Zion: But I’m not going to do that. A top shelf talent like myself isn’t to sell myself short like you bottom shelf mouth breathers do here. Unlike you heathens who comfortably sit on your damn asses like sheep; I’ve actually made something out of my career. I’ve travelled across the world wrestling in many different promotions. I’ve fought in PWX, High Octane Wrestling, Boardwalk Wrestling, 4 Corners Wrestling, Missouri Valley Wrestling; you name any of the top big named promotions across the globe; I’ve spent time developing my craft, sacrificing myself for the last 15 goddamned years. I’ve built my brand kicking ass and taking names; showing no respect to anyone that steps into my ring.
Zion struts from behind the bar and pulls a chair close to the camera guy. He slowly removes his suit jacket before carefully draping it across the back of the chair. He strides the chair, leaning into the chair back before he folds his hands together. He bites his lips, the wheels turning in his brain as he talks.
Darin Zion: That WWH ring you all are stepping into at War of Attrition; that’s now my yard. I have every single damn right to own your ring because none of you pencil necked twat waffles can even touch me in accomplishments. Hell, I wouldn’t let WWH talent lace my damn jock strap. Sure, mommy told every last one of you fools you’re special and you deserve participation ribbons for entering this match for one of the greatest prizes in professional wrestling. But she lied your face.
Zion claps at his own joke before he begins to scratch his chin pondering.
Darin Zion: You’re all not going to be World Champions, dreams don’t come true, and cordial fuckers finish last. I didn’t come here to make friends, shake hands, kiss babies, and make false promises. I came here to raise the value of your World Championship.
Zion immediately pivots and reaches towards the bar, pulling out the Blanton’s whiskey, bringing it into focus for the camera. He points at it and becomes more animated as he cackles and continues his point.
Darin Zion: I took one look at your champion and I thought to myself “failed Boardwalk project.” I’ve seen failed 4CW, HOW, PWX, and many other failed projects from the 15 years I’ve wrestled. I’ve stepped into the island of misfit toys and bottom shelf losers. We have a bunch of wrestlers that try to act like they’re Blanton’s thinking you’re smooth, rich, and valuable to this world. But you’re all a bunch of Evan Williams that are stiff as fuck and make everyone’s eyes burn when they watch you.
Darin Zion shakes head, just holding it. The pain shoots down his neck just as he thinks about everyone he’s wrestling from Thor to Chris Matthews and the whole lot of them. He cracks open the bottle of Blanton’s and chugs it down for a moment before whipping his mouth and letting out a sigh of relief.
Darin Zion: This War of Attrition match isn’t my lifelong dream. I’m not accomplishing the boyhood dream of winning the WWH World Heavyweight Championship. I didn’t sit on my parents run down couch heating flaming Hot Cheetos and drinking Mountain Dew whacking off to your championship belt. This is a fucking business traction for me. I take MY business seriously.
Zion takes another drink before his face goes dead pan. His eyes filled with fire, lusting after the blood of each of his WWH opponents in one of the toughest matches he’s ever fought in. He sneers and scowls at the camera as his voice raises.
Darin Zion: This isn’t some fucking joke to me. It’s real shit. I’m stepping into this match going to war; ready to make an impact. I’ll crush skulls, break bones, and end careers if I must do so in accomplishing my mission. I will bring value back to your championship belt; I get paid, my handlers get paid, the company gets paid and you little worthless weasels get paid. We all benefit from my grand entrance. We get our names put on the fucking map because of MY clout. We take WWH to the Top Shelf promotion and we go places. We get more butts in seats and eyeballs on our product. We’re talking billions of dollars for us all. Noah Hanson knew exactly what he got when he signed me and Crash Rodriguez in his last act as the General Manager of Dystopia.
Zion pauses before he squints his eyes and laughs manically while he cracks his knuckles.
Darin Zion: Noah signed a man who is focused on completing his goals. He signed a man who always got the job done from our PWX and won championship after championship. He signed a man who believed in money and power over everything else in this business. He knows I’ll not only match his legacy of coming within inches of winning this damn match. He damn well knows I’ll win it to best his legacy and raise that WWH Championship proudly over my head. I’ve raised FOUR other World Championship above my head before and I’m here to do that again.
Zion nods before he reaches over for his whiskey and chugs it down again and plops it straight down on the marble countertop. His eyes glow with intensity as he continues.
Darin Zion: But I don’t need to tout my resume for you, peons. I’ll simply show you it in that ring at War of Attrition. I’m the best Hybrid wrestler in this business today. I’ve studied all the different wrestling styles from technician, brawler, flyer, and various other stylings that I bring something unique. I’ve got a flair to my styling that you haven’t seen before, and you won’t see coming. I’ll knock your worthless asses out before you can even figure out what I’ll do next. TRUE TALENT! That’s what it takes being a champion. I’m a Master of Professional Wrestling. I’ve studied my game for the greats. And you guys…
Zion shakes his head while he chuckles.
Darin Zion: You guys stopped growing after 1998 with worthless fucking stories and needless flare that these fans craved. You lost the true art of dishing out pain and watching your opponents squirm while you taunt your success. You’re too busy acting out the best Shakespeare shit instead of fighting for your livelihoods and your paychecks like I did to get where I am at. FUCK OFF!
After he nods his head and squints, Darin Zion pulls his coat off the table and stands up. He grabs his whiskey and puts it under his arm. Slowly, he begins to walk over towards the camera and get up right in the camera and looks straight at his audience. While his eyes pierce your soul, Zion smirks.
Darin Zion: Write me off with these words. Act like I don’t matter. Toss me aside like some worthless shit poster on Twitter. That’s Mega Bloks and Fisher Priced bullshit worthless fucks like the current crop of WWH talent provides to this business. Keep squandering your worth and let your lives go to waste. You’ve practically driven this company into hell in a hand basket all ready. Keep sitting your asses on the bottom shelf.
While he sternly points at the screen, Darin Zion’s face turns a bright red. He’s seething as he continues to speak.
Darin Zion: I came here to prove my worth. I came here to earn my paycheck. I came here to drive the value up in WWH and win your World Championship. I want it around my waist and no one else’s. I’m a jealous company savior and I don’t need flashy videos, pretty pictures, or cool graphics to make my impact. I’ve already captured real estate in your heads by shitting on all my competition. I’ve fought with targets on my back for years and every god damn time; I won gold.
Zion takes another sip out of his bottle of whiskey before throwing it against the wall. Happily, he watches the glass shatter all over the place as the whiskey rolls down the walls around nearby as he laughs.
Darin Zion: At War of Attrition; play times over. Wrestling’s Top Shelf talent makes his presence known. I’m debuting my first match in WWH and going to collect big dividends. I don’t have distractions or rivalries weighing my ass down like you snot suckers. I am coming to conquer the war and win my shot at Zolton. I’m coming to grow this brand and make it thrive once more. I’m coming to win the WWH Championship and leave an impact on your company forever as the outsider world class wrestler who came and took your World Championship. I don’t care if I offended you. I don’t give a shit if I pissed you off. Good! I want you at your best…
Zion shakes his head as he begins to walk off.
Darin Zion: Because if your asses don’t study your shit and see me coming. Mark my words; I’ve already won this damn match before even stepping foot into a WWH ring. I’ll leave your asses on the bottom shelf where they belong, and I will ascend to the top of WWH and reach the Top Shelf faster than any other talent before me. Mark my words, I will win the War of Attrition. I will become your World Champion, and there’s not a damn thing any of you can do to stop me.
As Zion scoffs at his competition, he confidently strides off camera as the scene fades to black.

As the scene opens, we see "The Unstoppable Killing Machine Phantom sitting in his cell looking over various photos and drawings of the combatants in the War of Attrition.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom
"It looks like I have a lot of victims to put my stamp of destruction onto."
He starts trying to organize the "victims" into threat level. After a bit of time, a series of pyramids are shown that show how each person in the War of Attrition Match is rated. At first glance, it’s the pyramid/column of people who are absolutely no threat at chance at winning.
“The Unstoppable Killing Machine” Phantom
"These are the people who have no chance of stopping me such as John Blade, Alastair Siddiqui, and several others. While I applaud their effort, they will be the first to be sacrificed on the train to my path to victory. I honestly don't want to waste my breath even trying to explain why these fuckers have no shot at stopping me."
Then he simply waves his hand into the air and moves onto the next pyramid/column of people.
“The Unstoppable Killing Machine” Phantom
"Now we move onto the next column/pyramid of names. These are the people who might pose a small challenge to me. This includes such luminaries such The Left Hand fucks, some people from Isle such as Xavier Rose, Victoria Lyons, Jonna Austin, and the various unknowns that have thrown their name into the match. But while they will be a challenge, they still have no shot at taking my chance at glory away from me in the War of Attrition. Xavier Rose; you seem like a playboy but a challenging one at that, Jonna Austin; you have greatly improved but still need some polishing, the various mystery competitors; best of the luck to you all, and lastly Victoria Lyons; I am lumping you here cause of your name only, simply put. Oh and Left Hand, fuck off. I am W.W.H. through and through. I bleed the company colors and will never betray the company that has afforded me so many chances and cool avenues for my destructive tendencies. Have fun with a fucking MONSTER!"
Then he gives them one final glance before he proceeds to move onto the last and final column/pyramid.
“The Unstoppable Killing Machine” Phantom
"Now we move onto the last grouping. These are the people who pose a true challenge to my path to the W in the War of Attrition. These people include Havoc, Matsuda, V, Cedrone and a good number of others. V; you and I have fought a few times before. And every time we have, I inched closer and closer to beating you. Maybe this time, I will kick your ass and show that I am indeed a MONSTER! Matsuda and Havoc, you both are good because of being a double champion at one time and just being plain good. I will enjoy kicking your asses. Cedrone, the same goes for you as well; former champion, top contender and whatnot."
Then he looks over to a see pictures and names over on the desk that is located in his cell.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom "Oh, it seems that I forgot about five or so competitors. Well, I have no idea where to fit you guys in my weird and chaotic threat scheme. So, best of luck to stopping this fucking MONSTER!"
Then he looks at the camera one more before doing a Goldust-like breathe thing and the scene fading to black on his face with a look of destruction in his eyes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Then the scene reopens to "The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom doing so last minute training. The built-in microphone of the cameras catch him singing a little tune.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom "A killing we will go, A killing we will go, fi-fi-fo fum a killing we will go."
He looks up from his training with a punching bag.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom "Oh my, it appears that I have some visitors. To be honest, I have said my piece already. So fuck off, unless you want to be my first victims of the night."
Then he starts to bull rush towards the camera that is mounted on the wall and tries to claw at it before he stops after a few swipes.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom "Must conserve destructive powers for War of Attrition. Leave now if you want to actually my destruction of everyone else involved in this match."
Then he goes back to doing some training before the scene fades on him utterly destroying a series of dummies and punching bags with his destructive style of combat arts.
