Moments after the time limit draw between Orianna Johnson and Abby Evans on the prior Sanatorium episode.....
Pain still coursed Ori’s body as the orderlies hauled her back to her cell and threw her with all their might across the room. Ori bounced, rolled, skidded. She came to a stop and heard the door slam shut, which somehow also hurt. The Teen Titan languished on the floor. She couldn’t believe it. She just couldn’t believe it! The match had been declared a time limit draw, but she felt she’d lost. Somehow Abby had one-upped her, and if you were to ask Abby, she’d say it was the second time she’d upped Orianna.
”How?!?!” Croaked Orianna. Had she grossly underestimated Evans? Had Abby’s dismal 1-6 record been fluff, somehow brokered by some bad luck or distractions away from the ring? Ori sat up and rubbed the side of her head. She felt the sticky substance on her skin and remembered Abby using a full soda can to knock her for a loop.
In fact, that was the point in the match when Abby completely took over until the buzzer sounded. Johnson’s tummy knotted at the thought of Eden undoubtedly spamming the final moments of that match all over the networks. The Teen Sensation trudged her pained frame to a stand, using the wall to aid in her imbalance. She was startled when the cell door swung open and a wad of cloth was hurled right into her face by the orderly.
”Congrats Whore-e-Anna, haha, you didn’t lose. Technically anyway. Warden has deemed you worthy to wear your normal ring attire from now on.” He quipped, smiling like a shark would to a dolphin.
”And if you actually win your next match you’ll have earned your way into a nice comfy cot.” He added in a mocking tone.
Orianna lunged at him but she was too battered and slow. He simply stepped out of the room and slammed the door shut in her face and locked it. She banged on the window of the door and he replied by taunting her with some Ali shuffles and boxing style punches before walking away.
“You son of a..” She caught herself before saying the rest.
She fumed but knew that’s what they wanted. That stupid bird faced Eden was probably checking it all out on a camera. One thing was for sure. Orianna needed to figure out what went wrong tonight inside the ring, and how to avenge it.
A few days before the upcoming Sanatorium takes place...
Ori looked at the clock. Soon it would be time to do her mandatory promotional piece as per requirement of her bullshit sentence here. She shed her dirty inmate uniform and slid into her ring attire that she’d had to apparently “earn” back according to one of the orderlies acting on Eden’s behalf.
Doing it felt so empowering. She felt so much stronger in it. So sexy. It was like a piece of her soul had returned. Even so, the normally skin tight fabric was a tiny bit loose in some areas. She had lost some weight due to lack of gym privileges and proper nutrition. Nevertheless, she’d be damned if she was gonna show up on camera in that dirty garb they’d made her wear previously.
”Let’s go, Orianna. Promo time.” said the orderly outside her door.
Orianna made her way to the door and waited for it to open, but then she noticed the promo camera already set up just outside the door.
”Hey! I thought we were gonna do the promo in the Day Room?”
The orderly was joined by a few others, and they all pointed at her and laughed.
”Nah sweet cheeks, we were pulling your chain. You gotta earn your way into the Day Room. You gotta earn your way for even a single step outside your cell. You do that by winning matches. Now hurry up with your promo crap. Some of us need to take our breaks.”
Her captivating ocean blue irises flared with anger. She hammered her fist on the window and gave them a good tongue lashing, but it was all moot at this point. After a few moments, and several deep calming breaths, she gestured to the production guy behind the camera and he gave the countdown.
3 2 1
The green light flicked on. Orianna stared at the lens for a moment. The orderlies last second switchero had rattled her a little, and she’d forgotten what she was wanting to articulate. She blinked. A nod.
”Congratulations, Abby. Last Sanatorium you survived me long enough to escape with a time limit draw. No. You did better than that. I’m woman enough to admit that you had me. There. I said it.”
She pinched her lips together. Oh how she loathed admitting that.
”I’m sure you’re tickled pink over it, but let’s make something very clear. I have NEVER tapped out to your Paradox hold that you seem to think I tapped to in our Starbucks brawl. I DIDN’T tap to it when you and your orderly buddies ambushed me and you locked me in it. I DIDN’T tap when you put me in it on the last Sanatorium. Oh yes, Abby, it hurts. God does it hurt, alot. But I’ll NEVER, ever tap to it. I’ll never submit to you. Knocking me out cold is your best option for beating me.”
Orianna felt the warmth of anger and humiliation of last week’s match rise in her cheeks, blushing them a little red.
”Let’s clear up something else too. I was just as responsible for putting myself at your mercy last week as you were of dealing out the damage. I was running on emotions. I was stupidly brawling with you all out in the stands. How we were not counted out is beyond me, but yes, I made a huge tactical error by doing it and you capitalized by clonking me with an object. This is a mistake I will not make twice.”
She hardened her expression.
”I caught what you said leading into our match at the last Sanatorium and I’m baffled. It’s like you remembered our altercation from an alternate universe or something. You complained about me cutting in line. I was literally invited to the front of the line by staff, and the customers were cool with it. Well, except you, because as much as you claim that I think the world needs to revolve around me, you’re butthurt that the only one who offers to revolve around you is your poopstain godmother. You even said ‘who cares’ that I beat up and exiled Sweet Roxy.”
Orianna pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head.
”Well, you for one, should care. She acted the same way you’re acting toward me. Worse actually. And I brutalized her into exile for it. I literally beat her so badly that the Sanatorium didn’t even want her. It took a year. She caught me slippin’ a few times, much like you did recently, but in the end I destroyed her. That’s why you should care. But hey…..”
”If you still don’t care about what I did to Roxy, or don’t care about what I can do to you, then you better damn well care about who else you’re facing in this match. My tag team partner, Sarah Lynn.”
An image of Sarah filled Ori’s mind and she felt a calm come over her. She eased up a bit and nodded. Unlike Abby, who had barely registered on Ori’s radar prior to the Starbucks incident, Sarah Lynnn was a star Orianna knew all too well because of her dominance since landing in the Sanatorium six months ago.
“You remember Sarah, right? The woman who dribbled your gigantic bowling ball of a head across the mat for the 1-2-3. The woman who changed your fate. The only reason I vaguely recognized you at Starbucks was because I remembered seeing you get your ass kicked by her. Well, that and I watched the Escape Room match where you and your evil fairy godmother got bounced out early.”
Oh what joy Orianna had in her voice as she laughed at their failures!
“Sarah’s only lost once that I know of. I can’t be sure of that due to the orderlies withholding me from ascertaining the full info.”
Despite Sarah being in the cell next to Orianna, the guard and orderlies had made sure to shush any attempts at Orianna communicating with her after the card was announced.
”But I think it’s safe to say she alone could probably beat both of you at the same time. Blindfolded. With a hand tied behind her back. I could just sit in the corner waving pom-poms for her, giving her the pep cheer as she smacks you two down into the position I’m sure you two are all too familiar with - on your back.”
Confidence beamed through her grin.
”But I won’t. I’ll make sure to get my pound of flesh from you, Abby. Something tells me Sarah won’t mind. After all, she’s in here for similar reasons as me. It was either this, or jail. The only difference between her and I is that I get to beat the shit out of the one responsible.”
She softened her countenance a little.
”As for you, Mya? I don’t want to lump you into the guilty by association category. It will behoove you to treat this as nothing more than a tag match. Don’t get bogged down in Abby’s little hissy fits over me. Don’t make this personal. I know it might be hard, considering she’s your goddaughter, but just trust me, please, don’t make an enemy out of me. Unlike Abby, I have a measure of respect for you. I know you haven’t done jack shit in WWH except amass a losing streak, but you’ve spent a lot of your time here on other things. I know of you from other places. You’ve been everything from an anime character to a harem member submitting to some dominatrix. You’ve been at it a long time. Former champion. I don’t like you. Obviously you don’t like me because of Abby. Fair. Keep it like that and take your L, then begone.”
She took a step back.
”Sarah, let’s change our fates on Sanatorium. I hear you’re an expert in that field.”
Post by Sarah Lynn on Mar 12, 2021 18:51:07 GMT -5
The camera shows complete darkness. After a few seconds, black and white lights go on showing Sarah Lynn and Kirsty Mascara in an Unknown Room.
Sarah Lynn: I don’t understand what’s going on.
Kirsty: The last time we were seen on a camera, we were in an Unknown Room in the asylum. We’re still in it, however the room changes.
Sarah Lynn: But if the room changes then why are we still in black and white?
More lights go on over Sarah Lynn. Sarah Lynn looks at her hands confused. She then looks around the room., noticing it still has white painted walls and a white tiled floor.
Sarah Lynn: I’m now in color. But you’re still in black and white.
Kirsty: Might sound crazy saying this but just because I found you in here doesn’t mean, this room thinks I’m ready to be seen in color. It could take, days, weeks, months, even years before I forgive my brother for betraying me the way that he did. Especially when we both know that he’s the one who should be in a place like this and not me. Doesn’t help that he’s now got enough backup that him ending up in here isn’t even an option for him. It’s interesting to talk about my brother because you never talk about your family. You could have phoned anyone, why did you choose to phone me and not a member of your family?
Sarah Lynn: I don’t talk to my family anymore. The reason for that is because I’m in here. My parents are exactly like yours ashamed that their daughter could end up in a place like this so they abandoned all knowledge of me and left me to figure things out on my own. The only difference between our stories is I’m an only child. While your twin brother is hogging all of the parent’s love. Your family doesn’t care about the fact that he’s the reason why you’re in here. They just want to say that he’s the chosen son who’s well behaved and not in any trouble. Kirsty the real reason why I phoned you is that out of everyone who I've met at wrestling training you were the one who felt more like family to me than anyone else who was there. As for your brother he was a creep who I never liked being in the company of.
Kirsty Mascara: Growing up with my brother was weird. I saw wrestling as a dream job that I wanted to make the most out of. I wanted to work for a company and be a champion in any and all divisions that it had. My brother, however, he didn’t want fame, he didn’t want a legendary career with multiple championship reigns. No he just wanted to be treated like a clown. Therefore he didn’t take any of it seriously.
Sarah Lynn: A positive to being in here is you’re now part of WWH. You’re fully signed to a wrestling company while he’s now someone who no one will take seriously,
Kirsty Mascara: That’s true. Speaking of wrestling careers how is yours going? I hear a secret, it’s telling me that you’ve been in here for so long that it’s changed who you are mentally. Maybe you’re a bit paranoid because you’re scared of the world around you because it’s not one that you thought that you would be a part of. I remember when you were training to become a professional wrestler you had your own ideas of who you wanted to be, but here you are in here doing the opposite of that image just to survive in this location. Don’t get me wrong Sarah you’ve won a lot of singles matches but you’re always feeling worried because you don’t know what’s coming next for you.
Sarah Lynn: I admit that during my time in here the only person prior to this moment who I’ve been able to hold any kind of conversation with, was a guard.
Kirsty: You came here by yourself and lost trust in people because you think everyone is going to attack you at any point. The reason why you could only talk to a guard is because you didn’t think they would attack you. You were hoping that they would do their job and watch you as you did things like make the phone call to me. Furthermore, a secret is now telling me that you were told that you couldn’t be trusted around others because you were in denial about the crime that put you in here. Sarah, I want you to relax now because I’m here now. I want to train your mind for your next match where you team with Orianna Johnson against Abby Evans and Mya Denton. Sarah, please tell me what’s really going on inside your head.
Sarah Lynn: I’m willing to bet that Orianna is someone who was like me, entered here by herself not knowing what to expect. However, I want to send her a message right now. I know that my friend Kirsty is playing a hard game with me but let me tell you it’s exactly what I needed to hear because I now know that I shouldn’t be afraid of communicating with different people in here because not everyone is going to betray me and attack me like I previously convinced myself that they would. Orianna I am going to go into this match as a team player and we are going to leave with the win.
Kirsty: That sounds a lot more like the old you.
Sarah Lynn: Kirsty I’m just getting started, so please allow me to say more to Orianna. The only thing that I know about your history in the asylum is you had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Abby in a Coffee shop. In that place, the two of you seemed to have had a brawl that led to your arrest and then ending up in here. Afterwards you faced Abby one on one in a match that ended up with a time limit draw. This tag team match is not going to end up with a draw. I’m not here for matches to end like that. I’m here to make the impact and win the match so if your arm needs to be raised in victory as well then I will guide you to what I believe will be your first win in here.
Kirsty Mascara: Sarah in WWH you’ve never competed in a tag team match. Are you now one hundred percent ready to let someone else in and make those important tags to them?
Sarah Lynn: Yes I am ready.
Kirsty Mascara: In that case let’s talk about your opponents in this match.
Sarah Lynn: The first thing I think of is the element of common enemies. Both Abby and Mya were in The Escape Room Match. Afterwards I faced Abby in a singles match but before it happened she revealed that Mya was her Godmother. Let’s discuss the concept of a Godmother. She is a woman who presents a baby at a baptism which means we know they follow a religion. I respect people who believe in a religion, it’s their right to believe what they believe, but I do have one question for both of them. Would what they did to end up in here be considered as sins?
Kirsty Mascara: I don’t know much about religion because my parents raised my brother and I to not follow any of them, therefore it’s probably better if we let them answer a question about their religion.
Sarah Lynn: At the time it seemed like a random line to use when talking about me. So I would be interested in knowing more about their background and how Abby’s parents know Mya. However, they seem a bit lazy when it comes to talking about things outside a match so we could be waiting a while.
Kirsty Mascara: I’ve not been in here long enough to have met them so I can’t comment on passionate they are about promos but another secret told me that Abby is in a relationship with Chucky Ross.
Sarah Lynn: The only thing that I’ve got to say about that topic is I’ve not seen them interact. Therefore I’m not expecting it to become a factor in this match. I would however say that if things did go too far, Orianna and I aren't alone anymore.
Kirsty Mascara: I’m very open to getting my hands dirty when needed to. What about Mya? Is there anything else you want to say about her?
Sarah Lynn: Up to this point I don’t think Mya and I have been in the ring at the same time. A situation that can change in this tag team match. There is one important factor about her that I’ve not talked about yet. She is a lot older than Mya. So that means she’s got experience over Abby. If I can pin someone like Mya then it continues to show everyone that I am the future of WWH. It shows everyone that I really do deserve a championship match in the future, which will hopefully lead to my freedom from here.
Kirsty Mascara: Sarah ever since I met you I’ve said that you’re a woman who gets it. You want to become a champion then I believe that one day you will be a champion. Mya is someone you have to beat to continue to prove that you’re good enough to contend for a championship. In this tag match it could happen.
Before anything else can be said the lights in the room go out. After a few seconds the lights go back on. Sarah Lynn is in the room by herself.
Sarah Lynn: Kirsty?
Sarah Lynn: Kirsty where are you?
Sarah Lynn looks behind her and sees writing on a wall. Sarah Lynn reads the writing.
Sarah Lynn: Would I sell my soul to a devil to get her back?

Camera fades to what looks like the library/computer area. It is dark in the room, and no one seems to be around. The camera shows a reflection of a face that looks like Abby as she is typing away. Off to the side, another chair is pulled out and Mya sits down.
Mya- Figured I find you here?
Abby- Yeah doing last minute info on this match with that little pep squad member Ori and her partner Sarah Lynn.
Mya- What is the issue with you and her? Other than he Oh I am Almighty Bitch for beating Sweet Roxy.
Abby- I just hate people who think the world owes them because they did one thing. Yes Roxy left, yes she beat her, blah blah blah. I am tried of her thinking of I am owed this. It is bullshit.
Mya- I get you. I mean that whole Starbucks thing was stupid. She got hit with a tumbler and you were no where near them. Bitches, causes problems and you get blamed for it.
Abby- Honestly, I don't care about it. She will bitch about anything. She has yet to beat me. I had in Paradox twice, I heard her scream. She cried, the pain was intense and yet she still is like oh you got help here and these assholes like you so you got this. 1st off, maybe the Princess should realize that when you cause trouble the first time when you were here and the guards don't forget. They will come back with vengeance.
Mya- I find it funny how they are still trying to figure out how I am you God-mother. Does it matter that I know your mother and whatnot.
Abby- Exactly, it shouldn't matter at all. You are family and at the point I don't care about this match. I just care that I get Ori in Paradox again. That I make her scream and beg to be let go.
Mya- If it helps, I think it bothers her that she can't beat you. That you are not running from her.
Abby- True and you sound like a shrink just then.
Mya- Hell, I've been in this place long enough that I know what the doctors says forwards and backwards. I sort of feel bad for her partner Sarah.
Mya- Mostly because you are in the zone. You know what you want and go and get it. Doesn't matter what your record is, you go and get the task done and if that means you have to win against either Sarah or Ori, you will find a way to get it done.
Abby- Thanks. Are you ready for tonight?
Mya- I am ready for any match. I just worry about letting you down in the end.
Abby- If we lose it's no big deal. You know what I want to do and that will be good for me in the end. If we lose it won't be because Ori pinned us.
Mya- Do you have any plans? Other than Paradox?
Abby- I have an idea and that I will tell you off camera. Just to show Ori that maybe you shouldn't blame crap on people. Karma is a bitch and it does indeed come back around to bite you in the ass again.
Mya turns to the camera and gives a smile.
Mya- There you have it Sarah and Ori..you want to mess with the bull and you get the fucking horns. Like Abby said, Karma is a bitch and you deserve to get what you deserve. Sorry not sorry.
