ENTRANCE THEME: "Comanche" by In This Moment.
ENTRANCE: The crowd begins to rise as the opening of In This Moment's "Comache" hits the PA system. The Amazon appears on the stage, wearing a black and red leather hooded ring jacket with jutting scale-armor style shoulders, the Asylum Championship around her waist. Wardog Roo, a French Mastiff, unrestrained and heeling at her side.
Will you come with me?
Will you stand with me?
Would you follow me?
Would you believe with me?
Tell me you’ll bleed with me!
Tell me you’ll die with me!
Will you stand with me?
Would you follow me?
Would you believe with me?
Tell me you’ll bleed with me!
Tell me you’ll die with me!
She strides to the top of the ramp and stops as the lights all hone in on her from different angles. She whips the hood back to reveal her face, stained with warpaint, and lets out a long war scream as audience members and Roo join her!
Come on, get up
Let me hear your war cry!
Let me hear your war cry!
Nikki leaves Roo off leash at ringside and climbs through the ropes and runs to the opposite corner, jumping up onto the ropes and raising a fist, enjoying some of the reaction from the crowd before jumping back down. She hands her belt off to the referee and removes her jacket, quickly squaring off with her gameface to ready for her opponent.

ROO THE WARDOG NOTES: (Picbase is Marie Avgeropoulos' French Mastiff, Chewy. Or any other French Mastiff with a passing resemblance, I'm not that picky.)
I'm actually the third writer to use Roo the mastiff, though she has gone from an English Mastiff to a French Mastiff for convenience, shh. Roo was originally the hunting dog of another writer's intense heel character, intense as in he was an serial killer offcamera. When their storyline concluded with the character being caught by police, the dog was entrusted to Nikki's mentor, Jada Kaine aka Sinnocence. When Nikki came under her tutelage, Roo immediately bonded with the young woman. There wasn't even a question when Nikki left the nest that Roo would go along with her-- Roo had already decided who her human was here.
Roo being ringiside might be a new dynamic for her and Nikki, but it's less strange for the dog than one might think. Before she came into Nikki's care, Roo was already a well-trained, happy monster. The dog herself wasn't abused, just set on different prey than most dogs would ever see, allowed indulgences most dogs would never get. After coming into Nikki's care, Roo got used to a lot more socialization, going everywhere with the young woman, living on a houseboat on the California coast with her, even being allowed with Nikki in lockup in the Sanatorium as an emotional therapy dog. That she wasn't at Nik's side for matches until now was more an aberration in their lives, really.
Important: Roo can interfere in matches, but please take note of the following. Roo is not evil. She's not rabid. Definitely loyal. Maybe excited, but seldom undisciplined. Roo is used to being around wrestlers, know that the humans do this playfight thing for dominance that's very important to them. She also has some idea of when things are going wrong with that-- when her owner's being ganged up on, for example. Roo has been taught how to use her mouth and her weight-- and she weighs in at 140 pounds, the heavier end of normal for a female of her breed-- both to restrain without breaking skin, or to outright do harm if it comes right down to it. This is a dog large enough to hunt big game; if in a bad situation, she should be able to hold her own with most wrestlers.

BIOGRAPHY.
Nikki came in young still, but she started training under her brother shortly after her eighteenth birthday and debuted six months later. Her brother, a wrestler simply known as V, wrestled from 1999 to 2017 and was a big name in some circles, winning many championships in assorted promotions. He sent Nikki to work at Eastern Wrestling Alliance as her first job in the business, where his good friend "The Viking Queen" Sinnocence (aka Jada Kaine) was a retired hall-of-famer and managing her own son Josh. Nikki soon became Jada's protege, uniting with Josh and another legacy wrestler called Mojave in the trios team of Cerberus. They held the EWA Tag Titles for a long reign, feuding primarily with The Vice Squad and The Erinyes. The group had lost the belts and a fraying of their bond was showing, Nikki feuding with Mojave's sister Sahara and Josh joining the megastable HATE... and then the promotion closed due to the owner's messy divorce proceedings and disputes of who would get ownership. Six months out and EWA was no closer to reopening. Nikki is now having to let go of her boys, let go of receiving the professional closure she yearns for, and head back out there into the wrestling world solo.
She won the Underground Championship, then the Asylum Championship, only to have it taken from her by her own brother. After moving to Dystopia, she fell in with Havoc, then finally broke out into her own, but the winning streak seemed behind her by then.
