World Wrestling Headquarters presented it’s annual event, Shogun, pay-per-view. On the card were some great matches but the one match that I was looking at was mine. The control of Sunday night’s program, Dystopia, is on the line. Yes, that’s right, only one of co-General Manager Noah Hanson and co-General Manager Paul Sinclair will be in charge of the WWH program. Of course Paul Sinclair isn’t a competitor, so in his place will be Blake Anderson fighting for him. This all started because of Blake winning a Battle Royal that he had won. Because of that win, his wish was to give his longtime friend and manager a different position. So from working backstage, Paul Sinclair became the General Manager but what wasn’t known is that the position was given to Noah Hanson. So this match was made and now comes to a head at Shogun.
Blake Anderson has had many roles within World Wrestling Headquarters as well, so let’s not forget his accomplishments. Noah Hanson likes to remind everyone of his but Blake has done some things too. When he first arrived to World Wrestling Headquarters back when the environment wasn’t the definition of a “safe working environment”, he managed to hold the Extreme Underground Championship that could be looked at as the company’s Hardcore championship. After winning the title, it was quickly changed to another name by the former CEO of World Wrestling Headquarters and well, Blake was never able to properly defend his title. So while this match is for Paul Sinclair’s job in the company, Blake’s take on this is that he will go down in the record book and History as the only man who will have a forever undefeated streak.
Technically, that’s right, as the title is no more and Blake was the last man to hold the title. When the title was renamed, he wasn’t given the title to defend but another one was made. To this day, Blake Anderson has that title mounted on his wall as a reminder of the accomplishment he made despite the controversy surrounding it. But that was then and now we change direction to this match. Looking back to his time on the company’s Sanatorium program, Blake made his way from being a competitor to being the office’s “go to guy”. He was their enforcer and when he made his way back to the main program of WWH, he was placed in matches to be the “measuring stick” for those who were just signing with the company.
At this time, Blake would make it back onto the roster but backstage, he began a relationship with his now ex-wife and former WWH talent. The trio would do some great things and even earned a shot at the tag team championship. Since that win never happened, it wasn’t long after that a wrench was thrown in, when another roster member would cause a love triangle and eventually split the two. This led to Blake leaving the company for some time and Paul taking a position backstage in the company. When Blake did return, this eventually led to his win in that battle royal and to this match at hand. So now you’re caught up on Blake and his background leading up to now. As we cross over to Tokyo, Japan, we find ourselves here at Shogun.
The Japanese crowd, especially in Tokyo, has special meaning to Blake as it was here that he was trained and made a name for himself before going to The States and signing with World Wrestling Headquarters. So looking at this match, it could be an omen as he either wins his match in front of his peers who trained him and watched him become who he is, or everything comes full circle and his career ends where it began. Regardless of the outcome of this match, it’s no question that Blake Anderson’s World Wrestling Headquarters career has done it all. So upon arriving at the Tokyo Dome where Shogun will take place, it was no surprise that Blake Anderson and Dystopia co-General Manager Paul Sinclair arrived at the arena together. Pulling up in front of the arena, Paul had called ahead to have a WWH cameraman waiting for them when they arrived. So upon arriving, the two stepped out of the limousine and stood on the sidewalk as a cameraman recorded their arrival.

Both Paul and Blake adjusted their clothes as Blake closed the limousine door. Paul was looking up and admiring the arena before being joined by Blake and the two began in conversation.
[Sinclair]
Taking a deep sigh.
“Well, here we are. Back where it all began. Who would’ve thought that we’d be back here? Blake, tonight you’re fighting for everything yet again. He turns to Blake. Everything you’ve been through culminates tonight. You know what you have to do. From the time you stepped into this company, you’ve been a fighter and I can tell you now that this won’t be a regular match. Noah is going to pull out every trick he can because that’s just how he is. He’s all about himself so you have to play to that. Let him make the mistake and capitalize on it. This is what you’ve been waiting for so put all those emotions and use that aggression in there tonight. Got it”? Blake looks at Paul and nods his head. Paul steps aside as Blake turns to the camera and begins to speak.
[B. Anderson]
“Since day one when I came here, I had to face opposition after opposition to get to where I am now. I’ve been held back by everyone and had to fight to get everything I’ve earned. I had to play the system and sit back like a dog and fight for whatever scraps I could get. If it wasn’t for Paul Sinclair to take me aside and mentor me, then I would have never gotten this far. I remember the times when I held the longest losing streak in WWH history. That all changed when Paul came. He turned me into a fighter and because of that, I won a title. But then backstage politics wanted to stick their nose in my business and made sure that that didn’t last long. But who’s laughing now asshole? I still have that title and I’m the only man in WWH who is undefeated. But because they knew they couldn’t take the title from me, they decided to wipe away any existence of the title, so I fell into a depression and it was Paul that introduced me to my ex-wife. Everything was good during that time because we were great. It wasn’t until we were on our way to winning the tag titles that either management got into someone’s ear to stop me again or what, but it split me and my ex-wife up. So now they’re probably living it up somewhere or maybe they’re split now, I don’t care. It’s because of management that my life has been hell and that’s why when I got the chance to make a change, I did. When I won the battle royal and had a chance to make something right around here, here comes management again to say NO, this can’t happen. We gave that position to Noah and here comes Noah saying that the General Manager position was his. So my wish has been nothing but controversy. Tonight, we end it. Either I win and Paul takes control of Dystopia as full General Manager or you win and Paul goes back working backstage. Me? I don’t know what I’m going to do yet but we’ll see when this match is over. And what’s this if I lose then you get Five (5)
minutes alone in the ring with Paul? I know this is entertainment but a live sex scene has already been done before. See, Noah, this is just like you to always want to fight and be a part of the action. I know you’re lonely being the only one in your fan club but you’ll get used to it. Week after week you get in front of the TV and make yourself look good, when backstage, it’s Paul who’s been making sure you and everyone else look good. How did it feel that every time you walked past Gorilla, you had to walk past him knowing what’s on the line tonight? Tonight though, who knows, he might take your job. He might join commentary or he might just stand at ringside and watch me beat the hell out of you. The only thing you know is that tonight you’re going to get the hell beat out of you because you talk too much, and because that’s what I do. Hey Paul, (he looks to the side as Paul steps into camera view)
you head inside. I need a cigarette, and I’ll see you in a minute”. Paul nods his head as Paul’s cell phone rings. They shake hands as Blake reaches in his jacket pocket and pulls out a cigarette pack as Paul walks away to take his FaceTime call. In the background, you see Paul raise his Left hand and say…
[Sinclair]
“Greetings”.
The camera feed fades to a Black screen and cuts off just as an image appears of a distorted Red circle around a Red Left palm print.
[Location: Inside The Tokyo Dome]Walking through the hallway towards the office that was designated for the co-General Manager of Dystopia Paul Sinclair. While walking with Blake Anderson they were approached by yeah, you guessed it, a WWH interviewer with a cameraman of course. I don’t know if it was Starr or Faith, but whoever it was, they had a cameraman with them. Gearing himself up for another interview, Paul took a deep sigh but Blake stepped in front of him and interjected himself. The female introduced herself as Starr Robinson. Taking a microphone from the cameraman, she was ready for an interview and as the camera light turned on to record, Blake stopped her just as she was about to speak.
[Starr Robinson]
“Hello wrestling fans, we’re here live backstage ready for tonight’s Shogun event and I’m with with…”
Blake reached over and grabbed the microphone from her and took over the interview.
[B. Anderson]
“Listen here, Starr? There’s only one star that’s going to be in this interview and you’re looking at him. So go over there and stand and look pretty. You [pointing at the camera], you look here at me and listen close because I’m going to say this so you understand. Tonight doing something that nobody in this company has the balls to do and that’s to tell you to your face to shut the hell up or they’re going to knock you out. Well, tonight, I’m going to do just that. I’m going to be in your face [he gets up close to the camera] and I’m going to beat you within an inch of your life! [Paul pulls on Blake’s shoulder and he backs up. Paul’s phone rings and he answers it]. Paul, really? A phone call right now?
[Paul’s phone call conversation] “Really? It’s here? Bring it in. [Paul hangs up quickly]. Blake, I’ll be back. It’s here”.
Starr looks confused as Paul walks off but Blake continues as the camera starts to follow Paul.
“Hey! Stupid! You keep that camera on me or I’m gonna break my foot off in your ass. I can still beat Noah with one foot. Now, you came here to talk to me so you’re going to stand there and listen. I remember what you said and it’s stuck with me. Back in June, you said that I don't have the balls? Seriously? You dared to say that I don't have talent? [He laughs]. So when I wanted to gloat about my accomplishments because of everything I went through to get them, you're DAMN RIGHT I was gloating. You said the stockholders don't want unproven talent and someone take control. Tonight I'm going to take control and show the stockholders and everyone exactly what you are and that's nothing more than the biggest mark of yourself. You actually think you're good? [He laughs out loud]. The only thing you're good at, is showing how big of an ass you are.
Paul returns to the interview with a wrapped box. Paul opens the box and tosses the lid aside and pulls out a Black leather jacket as the bottom of the box falls.
[Sinclair]
"Blake, this is for you".
Looking confused, Blake looks at the jacket that was his gift. Paul then shows Blake the back of the jacket and sees the logo. His face grins big as he begins to put on the jacket.
"Um, Starr, your presence is needed".
Starr enters the frame and Paul hands her the microphone. Paul crosses his arms before saying...
"A perfect fit. Wait, there's something on the back. Turn around, [Blake turns around] here we go".
Paul removes the tape over the embroidery on the back on Blake's jacket to reveal a logo. The logo is of a Red circle around a Left palm print that is also Red.
"Looks like we've got some admired guests tonight. [Looking around, Paul says] It's going to be a shame to see this place..."
Blake interrupts him.
[B. Anderson]
"Paul, wait, we don't want to leave everyone in the dark".
[Sinclair]
"You know what, you're right. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Shogun where tonight my job is on the line against your precious co-General Manager Noah Hanson. Noah, bring your friends, your family, or whatever army you'd like to think that has your back. Tonight, you're not only going to face a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain, but you're going to face the leader of the new Revolution here in World Wrestling Headquarters. You're going to face not just the man who put people in hospitals and even on the shelf and out of this company much less this business, but no, you're going to be facing the man who will single handedly welcome in 2021 with open arms and embrace World Wrestling Headquarters with the presence of something nobody has ever seen or witnessed of its kind. I introduce to you...The Left Hand".
Just then, screen abruptly statics as a distorted image appears on the screen of the same logo that is on the back of Blake's jacket.
