Given that another round of round-robin booking would've treated a large chunk of the roster as inanimate obstacle course pieces for these three men, and the potential of a snafu result of more than one of them reaching a fourth point? Management decided that Sudden Death was the way to go. The winner will face Renee Jonae in the Shogun semifinals!

Post by Josh Kaine | Maggie McIntyre on Nov 18, 2020 20:57:33 GMT -5
Josh looked from the wedding reception back down to his phone as he stood out on the resort’s deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Dystopia’s newest bookings had finally been released and where he saw his name? It was a punch to the gut--he hadn’t expected that, but it made sense. Why drag it out? Renee Jonae had secured her place in the semi-finals with her victory over Becca Wideline and with three opponents in the same predicament...the smile soon returned to his face. Sah’ta Thor was ancient, but he was a lion sensing his end--he had nothing left to lose and that made him especially dangerous. Zoltan was nearly always at the top of his game and he would likely seek to put Josh down early.
Folks were noticing him now. This wasn’t his first time main-eventing.
Josh let out a long, cleansing sigh. This was only getting more complicated with each booking.
He needed to rise to the occasion again and stay consistent to keep on this upwards path. If he did end up winning this Sudden Death match, he would face the only opponent to beat him in his run with WWH so far. He’d been so close towards the end of that match with Renee, but close didn’t cut it. She was good. Like top-tier even the main eventers here struggled every time they stepped into the ring with her. She was good like Sahara had been good at the top of her run in EWA, nigh unbeatable...she was good like his mother had been good before the constant battles with addiction took their toll.
Josh shoved the phone back into his pocket and scrubbed his hands over his face.
Thankfully, the cheer inside the building was soon followed by the doors opening and she came running out as fast as she possibly could in that dress with her heels in her hand. Her rush to escape the tradition of the bride tossing the bouquet brought a deep chuckle. No one had suspected a damn thing was going on between them considering everyone had been too busy trying to avoid the elephant-sized tension between her and her brother.
This worked for them for now.
No one needed to know until she was ready to have it come out.
“You ready to go?” He asked the Amazon, amused at her emphatic nod. The last few weeks had been beyond stressful and if he could do anything to help her, he would without hesitation. This was the only time they’d be able to slip away unnoticed. Jada was sober now and when her eyes weren’t on her new bride, they were on the rest of the wedding party to ensure a certain brother and sister didn’t come to blows.
And well, Josh just fucking hated weddings.
He bent just enough to hook an arm around her back and the other under her knees, hauling her up into his arms. Hardly trying to be romantic, the only walkway back to the parking lot of the resort where they wouldn’t be seen leaving was a dirt one and she was barefoot. Nikki seemed a little confused and a little annoyed as to why she was suddenly in his arms, but once she saw where he was headed it made sense. Joshua Kaine was nothing, if not polite as could be. While his adoptive mother wasn’t Nikki’s biggest fan, she couldn’t deny that his adoptive parents raised him up right.
“C’mon then, let’s get the fuck out of here.”
Lyons and Beasts and Kaiju.
Oh my.
Lyons and Beasts and Kaiju.
Oh my!
Lyons and Beasts and Kaiju.
Oh my!
Sorry y’all, couldn’t help myself. You can’t really argue that it ain’t an appropriate reference and all, considerin’ who all I've been up against since I was signed to the Dystopia roster...and since I signed up for the Shogun tournaments. I mean, there was the King Nothing and Straight Shooter whose aim was more akin to a stormtrooper than Wyatt Earp. The Lyoness is good, but her roar’s worse than her bite. I caught the Beast in a pretty good trap, but ain’t gonna lie...everyone knows I only won that by the skin of my teeth.
Then came the Black Fairy who seems like she ain’t never gonna be toppled.
But every loss is a lesson, same as every win. You don’t take the chance to learn somethin’ every time you step in the ring, you risk fuckin’ yourself in the long run. Steppin’ into the ring with Godzilla himself though? That was a real test. Mr. Lane’s a good man and an even better wrestler. He’s got an ally in me if he ever needs one and anytime you wanna dance again, Godzilla...I’m more’n happy to oblige.
And speakin’ of allies.
Just shootin’ a word out to Ms. Beast. I know you’re a big ol’ girl who can handle her business, but just in case. You want Mr. Marvelous gone, you just say the word. I know Appalachia just as good as ol’ Mad Dog. I ain’t got a whole lot of friends here, but I sure hell don’t need any more enemies either. You and I done settled our differences, I hope.
Anyway, time to get back on track.
We got us a Sudden Death three way match for a main event this week and yours truly happens to be smack dab in the middle of it. This ain’t my first threeway, certainly won’t be the last. I must be makin’ some sort of impression on y’all by now--ranked number two, just below the lady all three of us are fightin’ for the right to face in the semi-finals of the Shogun tournament. I think for a newcomer, I ain’t done a bad job of show y’all who I am and doin’ the good folks in Germany proud.
Darum geht es beim Turnier, nicht wahr?
Uh, for those of ya that don’t speak German, just said, “That’s what this tournament is about, isn’t it?” Don’t get me wrong, a tournament’s the best stage in all the industry to show folks what you got, but it was also to represent a nation--someplace you’re from, a place you really like, and or if you’re a dumbass like me...the first place that popped into mind because you were put on the spot and needed an answer quick. It’s been the best test of myself facin’ off against these fine folks, along with learnin’ everything I can about the country I’m representing. Learnin’ the language was a good place to start, I ain’t nowhere near fluent yet, but my Ma and my friend Mick said I’m gettin’ there.
So let’s get down to brass tacks, y’all.
Last we saw of Sah’ta Thor on Dystopia, he was starin’ up at the ceiling lights after gettin’ pinned by the Lyoness. Hell, earlier on, we saw him in a dang hospital bed tellin’ us all he was down, but he wasn’t out for the count.
I know you want to get your legacy permanently imprinted in everyone’s minds, Mr. Thor, but you ever stop and wonder if you ain’t already done that? Maybe I’m just speakin’ as someone who watched his Ma almost work herself into an early grave, but you been doin’ this for literal decades now. When you walk out from behind the curtain, there ain’t a soul in those stands who don’t know your name. You said it yourself. What you got ain’t gonna get better, only worse.
And I ain’t sayin’ all this to be an asshole or talk down on your accomplishments.
I just...I was raised up watchin’ my Ma and seein’ there wasn’t nothin’ she would do to win. She realized, though, that she couldn’t keep doin’ what she was doin’...her body was startin’ to give out, so she goaded him into basically putting her out of her misery. This was just before I got my adoption records unsealed and found out she was my Ma. I was the one who showed up outta the blue on her doorstep as she tried to settle into a well-earned retirement and pulled her back into her biggest addiction. I don’t regret findin’ her or gettin’ trained by her, but I get second thoughts now and then because all the while I was findin’ my way to the top...she was there looking out for me. I knew her health was failin’ and she was a lot closer to dyin’ than she wanted anyone to know.
If I’ve learned one thing from that--it’s that this business ain’t worth dyin’ for.
Don’t get me wrong. I love it just as much, if not more now, than I did as a kid growin’ up.
Mr. Thor, you said you got grandkids, don’t you think it’d be a little better for you and for them to watch ‘em grow up and tellin’ ‘em personally all the stories they wanna hear? Instead of them only havin’ the memory of watchin’ you keel over someday in the ring and watchin’ what they can find on Youtube and shit.
Again, ain’t tryin’ to sound like a smartass, just givin’ a bit of personal perspective.
This business ain’t worth dyin’ for, but the connections you make with other folks are. My Ma found someone who made her see a future beyond dyin’ early. I ain’t been in the ring for years and years like you, Mr. Thor, but I do know that wrestlers tend to be prone to tunnel vision. We lose sight of the forest for the trees. You’re so fixated on winnin’ this tournament knowin’ it’ll be the last chance to really shine and keep your momentum goin’. Just don’t lose sight of the other important stuff in your life. I know I’m not even half your age, but I can tell you losin’ the other important stuff because you were too focused on winnin’ hurts like fuck.
Anyway, yeah. Honestly, I am really lookin’ forward to steppin’ in the ring with someone like you. You might be fadin’, but you ain’t burned out completely yet. I wanna see how far you’ll push me, how hard you’ll make me and Zoltan work to pin your shoulders to the mat…
Which brings me to the other man in this main event…
The man who’s burnin’ real bright at the top of his game.
Zoltan.
Gotta be real honest with you, dude. I don’t really understand where you get off tellin’ me I don’t belong here. Only person who stopped me so far is the same one who gave you your only loss in this tournament, but whatever. Let’s roll with it. You’re the man of chaos...a demonically competitive destroyer. I mean, do you wake up in the mornin’ and actually repeat that shit to yourself in front of the mirror?
We all have that secret moment where we look ourselves in the mirror and psyche ourselves up for something. Tough test to take, new ceiling to smash through, finally gettin’ a belt…but you just seem legit like the type of man who takes his own bullshit way too seriously. I’ve been rewatchin’ some of your stuff lately and you sound like some moody nihilistic edgelord who screams about chaos just because it sounds cool.
While we’re on the subject, you know what’s not cool?
Trashin’ on some other country just because it ain’t to your arguably racist definition of good. Especially callin’ for a country to be burned just because you think it’s inferior to your own--and can we touch on that for a moment? From what I understand, you were born in the Netherlands but raised up in Washington State. Why’re you sayin’ ‘We’ when you talk about the Netherlands? You know the good majority of the folks who live there don’t share the idea that torchin’ a place just because it ain’t like your home is okay. You know where you can get that kinda mentality growin’ up? In the good ol’ US of A, where you learn if you want to be the most powerful, always have a bigger stick than all the other guys. Hell, I am American, I grew up in Appalachia where the idea that anything different from what they grew up with should be destroyed is real popular.
You’re doin’ the Netherlands’ history and its people a great disservice sayin’ things like that while claimin’ to represent them.
I ain’t from Germany, but I’m representin’ them and the people that reside there on a stage the scale of Shogun tournament. It’s my duty to represent the people and the place to the best of my ability...be strong, keep goin’, and learn from my mistakes. They ain’t neutral, but their economy is thriving. They don’t stay out of world political issues, but they also learn from their mistakes.
I don’t think you learn from your mistakes, Mr. Z.
Like thinking Renee Jonae pulled off a miracle by gettin’ a win over you when in fact she won because of sheer fuckin’ skill. She is better than you. Hell, she’s better than me...but I know why she’s currently better than me and I don’t plan on lettin’ her be better than me for much longer.
I gotta get through you and Mr. Thor first at the same time to prove it.
It won’t be a fuckin’ cakewalk, that’s for sure, but I’m willin’ to go the distance. I know we’re all gonna give each other everything we got and then some. We’re all hungry for this more than anything else right now. We got the finish line in sight and the path to victory ain’t never gonna be clearer.
So I’ll see you at Dystopia.
Viel Glück.
(It means Good Luck, y’all.)

”This is the sudden death. This is the separation of those that are mighty. From those that fall apart. Those that cannot be strong when it is necessary. He is mighty. He is serene. He is Zen. He is the definition of strength. Undying passion. Only to complete his sole MISSION!!” Sudden death… Such a Fitting Statement… Two shall die… One will Rise… The Trophy is all that MATTERS!! The plane of existence is unknown for most. The human condition is something no one really and truly understands. Not even the man we have connected our consciousness to. He is intelligent. Wise beyond his years. Yet the understanding of how most humans act confuses him. His heart and soul is human, he says. But his mind is beyond that. Our man of Chaos is sitting in a pit. Alone. All we can do right now is wait. Wait for him to become transcendent. Calm. He has been meditating for days. After he and Crystal went on a few day getaway. That is one calming situation in his life. The stability and strength of their love and companionship is off the charts. We are happy for him and her. But there is a bubbling anger and frustration building within him. We feel it. He is keeping it bottled up for the time being. But there are two humans that stand in the way of his charge. His goal. His mission.“Those two will fall like dead wood in a dark, dank forest from days of old.”*The voices are separate, yet right next to us it seems. We are blind at the current moment but we feel as though a bright, blinding light will be revealing itself to us sooner rather than later.*Z, sir, how are you after your time of transcendence? Do you feel balanced now? Were you able to contemplate on what lies ahead for you?“So many questions little Miss. One at a time.”*His voice sounds as though he is smiling. Something new.*Well how about we begin this way. How is Crystal doing?*Her question seems joyous in tone.*“Crystal is doing absolutely wonderful. Her heart is pure and beautiful just like she is. Our love has seemed to grow into something so strong, nothing man made or other could break it. Honestly little Miss, she has brought me something that has made me complete for the first time ever it seems. Melissa came close, but Crystal is that for me. I feel as though our lives will be spent together until this existence wanes to nothing.”*His tone is soft and very light. Completely different from what we have ever heard from this man. His evil intentions and abilities have sent fear throughout our hardwiring. Just then our sight becomes blurred then clear. Just in front of us is Zolton. Sitting, cross legged upon a table. His hair pulled back in a loose ponytail. His eyes gleam a light blue glow within the darkness that surrounds him. He is lit by what seems like a million candles with dancing flames all around him.*That is great to hear. Your joy and happiness is something we enjoy seeing. Is it okay with you that we move forward onto what should be spoken about?“Of course little Miss. It is vitally important we go over this and make sure they know what they are going to be dealing with.”*He nods slowly as he awaits for the discussion to begin.*First of all, congratulations on defeating Latoya Hixx. Although anyone with a half a brain and at least one eye with blurry vision would have seen that coming from a million light years away.*He nods with a smirk.*Now in a matter of a few days, there comes a sudden death match up. This battle is a triple threat style match up. You of course. Then Sah’ta Thor. And Josh Kaine. All three of you have a loss in the tournament. So this will decide who goes on and battles Renee Jonae in the semi finals of the tournament. A place you have been before in this thing. Also a foe you have battled before, one who was able to eek out a victory over you earlier on in this year’s tournament. I guess first, how does all of this feel right now? We know you were in solitude for quite some time. Any clarity come to you during this time?*Zolton crosses his arms over his chest, his bare chest. His face contorts slightly into an expression we do not recognize.*“Yes, much clarity came. Although this clarity was a little distorted. Meaning I cannot see clearly what end may come when this fight concludes. You see little Miss and those pissants and parasites out there in the world watching this with wishes of my ultimate demise. This is going to be a bloody battle. One that will be decided by a millisecond decision that could be the wrong one or the right one. These triple threat battles are tactically curious and challenging. You must be weary of where both opponents are. You may think you have one down and out so you can put the other down and out for the victory. No that could turn on you in an instant. I am experienced in these matches. Chaos is where I thrive and it is where I will take my rightful spot in the semi finals of this tournament for a second time in the four years I have competed.”*His facial expression adjusts to a normal, resting expression.*All true Z. We’ve seen you battle through many different obstacles. Now what did your time in solitude tell you about the foes that stand in your way to getting to where you rightfully belong?*He smirks with a scoff, his arms relax as his hands seem to rest in his cross legged lap.*“Well distorted images of Kaine. Destructive bloody mess that he will be left in. You all out there think that I am an asshole. Something like a soulless and heartless being of the hellish realm. Reality is, yes that is all true. When it comes to me fighting. Battling to accomplish my goal. One I have not once wavered from since stepping foot in the headquarters of this company. Kaine. Thor. You two are the next victims to fall. To reach the pinnacle yet not quite make it. We are all in this battle because we came up short in one of the match ups in this round robin portion of this tournament. Kaine, you fell to the same foe I did. Who will be next for me once I dispatch you and Thor. I know little of you Kaine. I still stand by what I said a few weeks back when I said you do not belong here. You do not belong in this spot. Why? You might ask. Well it is because you have arrived here, and got a big ass head on your shoulders. All because it seemed easy for you. Almost like you were going through styrofoam blocks with acid. Kaine, you lost to Jonae. Not near as much of a roadblock that I am for you. Hell Thor is more of a challenge to all compared to Jonae. Ah yes I did fall to her as well. I accepted that loss. She took it old school and pinned me. As frustrating as it was to accept it but I have. Now will you be able to accept the total destruction you are about to experience?”*Zolton begins to unfold his legs. His tattooed legs stretch out over a sea of dancing flames as her soft angelic voice returns.*It seems as though you have it out for Kaine sir. Why is that? Were there any visions of Thor while you sat in solitude?“There were visions of them both. I just find Kaine a little underwhelming honestly. His early arrogance is unsubstantiated. Yes he was able to gain victories over some decent competition. But he hasn’t been in the trenches of war like I have in this company. I have battled some warriors throughout the years I have been in this company. I have taken on champions. I am battle tested Kaine. You are simply on the slip and slide with blinders on.”*He now brings his knees up into his chest as his eyes begin to glow a bit brighter. The candle’s flames begin to grow it seems.*What do you think of those that have been saying that you shouldn’t get this chance at the sudden death tie breaker match? They’ve been saying that it doesn’t matter that you have decided that this is going to be your final Shogun Tournament.“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah. Blah. Blah. Fucking blah. Look I do not give a flying fuck what they are saying. They are nothing more than pissants. Oh wait I have already called them that. All of those out there saying this and that. I have planted my flag for this company. I haven’t always got along with management. All forms of it over the years. But I have stayed loyal to this company through and through. Yes I have expanded my horizons with other stents and challenges. But my home is World Wrestling Headquarters. Ever since I joined this company four and half years ago. Does that matter when it comes this and what the parasites are spouting off at the mouth about? Not really. But I figured, giving the scope of what I am and who I have been through the years. This is your Man of Chaos.”What about those that say that you already have the World Championship title shot and this tournament is really meaningless?“HA! This tournament means everything to me at this moment in time. Yeah I do have the World Championship title shot coming up. But this Shogun tournament trophy has eluded three other times and I will not let it elude my grasp this time. Josh ‘Mama’s Boy’ Kaine will not stop me. Sah’ta ‘Wishes to a Soul Eater’ Thor will not stop me.”*He suddenly leaps to his feet atop the table. The flames rise higher as his eyes glow a bit brighter.*“There is a rumor floating around that Mister Thor is recruiting some talent to join up this ridiculous cult thing. What makes you think so amazing and powerful to be able to pull something like that off? Shit Thor, Gary Black has been able to do that for years and years in this company. You are too smart for your own good Thor. You have shown some interesting and challenging skills for me to overcome in this battle, and hell something in me was screaming that you and I would be battling before the end of the tournament. Did you feel that? Did the many voices that you, answer to, tell you the same thing? Would be quite interesting if they did don’t you think so? Look Thor, I see you as a challenge. Hell I have to give Kaine some credit to, but that isn’t my style. Thor, you are the only dark soul that matches the visions I find myself wandering through daily.”Sir? What are you doing?*It seems without him realizing it, he is levitating just above the table, the flames of the candles dance higher and higher. Covering his feet and half way up his calves.*“I am doing what is necessary right now. My strength within myself is undying. My belief in myself and in my skills to fight and destroy those that stand in my way. This now includes Josh Kaine and Sah’ta Thor. I will not apologize for the injuries I will inflict upon the two of you. I refuse to lose again. I will not lose this fight. I will not lose to Jonae again either. This year of twenty twenty, the chaos that this year has become. And it will continue to be. Welcome to the world that I have created for the parasites.”*The flames now have risen to just below his chin. Is this even possible?*Are you okay sir? This is beginning to get more strange than what we have ever experienced with you.“I am perfectly fine.”*He says with a wink.*“These are the flames of serenity for your Man of Chaos. I will rise from the ashes they create. I am the master of my destiny and the path to my glory. My only fucking mission.”*The flames now have covered his face. He is now hidden behind the incredibly and impossibly high dancing candle flames. Little Miss seems to be a little panicky.*Sir? Where are you? Z? ZOLTON!!*As her cries echo throughout the room, the candles’ flames suddenly become extinguished. A single light above where Zolton and the candles were shines on the shining table top. Where did he go?*Zolton!?*She now seems really worried. This is something she has not ever experienced before. Zolton seems to be a lot more powerful than she even thought.*I hope you are okay. I guess I should conclude this recording.*We hear her inhale deeply, then she exhales.*Well ladies and leeches. Parasites of the planet. Your Man of Chaos has spoken. The souls that float in the ether that will stand in the way of the Chaotic wave shall be swallowed up within and left in its wake. Zolton will show no mercy. Make no mistakes. Only move on to accomplish his goal. His glory. That glory being the Shogun tournament champion. Hold that trophy high above the rest of the world. He is the creator of chaos and the spreader of truth. This has been an odd and strange recording brought to you by the chaos that is Zolton. Let what may come fall into the right places for those that need it. This is the beginning of your end. Your being Thor and Kaine. Zolton is your demise.*She seems to smile at the end, even though we cannot see her. The light fades to darkness. Then we are left in the silence and darkness that we always are at the beginning and end of these things. Well I guess this is it. An ominous end.*

Things were looking up for Sah'ta Thor and the Empire of Blood. In just a few months he had proven to the World Wrestling Headquarters that he was a man who would change the company. From day one Sah'ta Thor had been making an impact on the company.
"It has been an interesting couple of months for me. You see I signed my contract with the intention of coming and making the last bit of my career mean something. It is a sign of my timing that the then International Champion Reaper issues an open challenge for his title. A challenge that I responded to thinking it would help me reconnect with an old friend. In the following weeks the WWH saw what I was about when I endured sneak attacks and verbal abuse leading up to Anniversary. Reaper and I battled for the International Title in a match that will be remembered because I won. Since then Reaper has been off dealing with several personal issues. In time I fully expect to see my brother in arms back in the ring ready to cause some more carnage."
These words were spoken calmly as he is seen sitting in a rocking chair on the porch of an undisclosed location in rural Japan. He was wearing a t-shirt and jeans with the International Championship resting in his lap.
"In the time since I have been International Champion I have been connected to the ebb and flow of company growth. From beating Extreme Underground Champion Scotty Paine in an Extreme Rules match in the inaugural on the debut edition of HellsGate. A match that ironically eliminated him from the Shogun Tournament. Even more ironic is that I bled in the ring and have been part of the show with a segment every week since then."
Thor stops speaking and grabs a glass from a nearby table while his other hand rests on the polished surface of the International Championship.
"I joined the Platinum Act Initiative on the promise that I was going to be spotlighted as a major player in the group. Since our initial conversation and my joining I have had little communications with James. J. Walker. However, Jonathan Edwards has backed me a hundred and fifty percent as I have developed the Empire of Blood into what shall soon be the greatest faction the World Wrestling Headquarters has ever seen. In fact the Empire of Blood is allied with the Platinum Act as its ShowDown side. As such the war that Damage and his Ministry of Dark Empire wants will become bloodier than he ever expected. As I said last Showdown the Empire of Blood will be ready to fight if Damage wants to carry one his crusade against Platinum Act Inc."
There is and silent pause as Thor drinks from the glass in his hand.
"Since I came to the WWH I have been involved not only with ShowDown and growing the Empire of Blood. With HellsGate I have been on HellsGate furthering my International Championship title defense for Shogun. In short I have been doing what every WWH Champion should be doing. I have been involved with the company and the fans in a way that shows I am not just here for the strap I hold. A perfect example of this is the September 11 show I help organize and invited the WWH veterans to take part in."
Thor downs the of his drink and then sets the empty glass down upside down.
"As the Shogun Tournament comes to a close I am facing WWH World Champion Nick Sanderson. A man who has lost half his tournament matches to date. A man who I once reached out to as a potential tag team partner only to get ignored. Yet he blew me off without even acknowledging me existantense. I have come to realize that in the weeks I have been here I have done more to promote this company that Nick Sanderson has his entire reign as World Champion. He is so out of touch with what is going on around him that he thinks the fans give a shit that he getting laid every promo. He seems to think people want to hear his voice droning on about things he little to know knowledge about in the first place. You see I am going to say it in such a way that there can be no misunderstandings. When I beat Nick Sanderson at Showdown I will show the world why he won't be winning the Shogun Tournament. Furthermore, with this upcoming loss I will make sure Nick Sanderson KNOWS that I am gunning for him. It is a statement of fact that Nick doesn't know what is going on around him as is often seen by the things he says in promos. I dare Nick to step up and actually get involved in things or he is no better than John Blade when it comes to this company."
With a sudden movement Thor sweeps the glass off the table sending it through the air to shatter on the ground.
This video suddenly ends as the image shifts to show Thor sitting in a steel chair with an intense look in his eyes. He had things to say but he planned on keeping his message short and to the point.
"A couple weeks ago I finally explained my medical issues to the WWH fan base. Since then I have gotten all sorts of messages about how I am being selfish. Selfish in that I am not thinking about my family and am only still in the ring to enhance my legacy. I will admit I would love to have my legacy grow before the end of my career. Other messages have been outraged that I would even consider putting myself into such a risky position with my health. And still others have been out right horrified that I would even think of wanting to die inside a wrestling ring instead of at home with my family. To all of them I just have to say you don't understand my motivations for this. Until you do each and every person who thinks I should just hang up my boots and let my legacy speak for itself have no idea what they are talking about and should mind their own damn business."
He stops speaking as he shakes his head slightly. In time people would get his choice but right now he had a few things that needed addressing.
"For those of you who have been long time fans of WWH you may have recognized that video from the 2016 Shogun tournament. The first time I was involved in the event. Now things have changed since then and even with the loss to Lyons last show I am still in a strong position this year. Even with that win Victoria has no chance at winning Shogun. Oh I know by losing things are much harder for me now but alas life sometimes throws wrenches into your plans. In the end, it just means I have to fight that much harder in what has been deemed the Sudden Death match. A match that is a triple threat main event on the last Dystopia before Shogun. It is appropriate how that management is deeming this a sudden death match since I am living that every day of my life. If I am lucky I could make it to next year's Shogun, though i am not counting on that. Zoltan has gone on record saying this is his last Shogun appearance. Which means his Shogun aspirations could die in this match. Which brings us to Josh Kaine, the up and coming wrestler who has a bright future in the WWH."
There was another pause as Thor took a breath.
"I know people see as this old fuck who just needs step out of the ring but I won't You see I am a fighter and I will keep going out there as long as my body allows me to. You have all seen how good I am in the ring, even with my issues I am better than a lot of guys half my age. You have seen it first hand which is why I am in this match in the first place. I would have secured my spot already if I hadn't had a medical issue affect me. Not that I am using it as an excuse for my loss but we all know that I have beaten Victoria before and could have again had I been fully on my game. However, I wasn't and it showed. I know it and so does everyone else. Come Dystopia I will go out there and do what I have to win. You see I know my back is against the wall. It is a common fact that an animal is at its most dangerous when it has nothing to lose. I have nothing to lose so I am at my most dangerous now."
Thor licks his lips and leans forward in his seat.
"Zoltan you know first hand how tough I am in that ring since we have met before in a triple threat. Of course you got pinned that night. Will history repeat itself I wonder. As for you Kaine I respect you but I hope you understand that I will do what I have to in order to take you out. We both know that you have a future in and will have other chances at the Shogun Tournament. So See you all at Dystopia."
With that the image suddenly cuts to black.
