Open to Anyone!
Preshow:
NADIA versus Latoya Hixx
The bright newcomer with a lot of hype around her gets a chance to show what she's made of in the preshow of last Dystopia of the cycle before Shogun!
Match One:
Mercedes Vargas versus Uiriamu Minami
Back in September, Striker and Minami were made to team up with Mercedes Vargas versus Matthews, Barrett, and Spencer. They had harsh words for the lady, and in the end their team lost. Mercedes has come pretty far since then, however, while Striker has seemingly sunk towards Havoc's clutches. How will Minami alone handle their former strange bedfellow?
Tuxedo Fitting:
Demetrius Lane
The man known as Godzilla is set to face Mike Mason at Shogun in a Tuxedo match! After the actions of Mason last Dystopia, Lane probably has something to say about all this, and we have an idea of when he might just be at the mercy of some pins with time to kill.
Rolling the Dice with
Jonny Cedrone
The King of Sexy has had a tumultuous 2020, at his height beating the double champion Havoc and at his worst losing the International Championship which he himself had freshly named. He's set to face Matsuda at Shogun, and the tension is building. Will fate have a big win in his future, or another disappointment?
Match Two:
Jonna Austin versus Victoria Lyons
The Shogun Tournmanent seemingly did Victoria Lyons no favors as her debut as a wrestler, but now that most of the smoke has cleared, perhaps a reset is in order. She faces a lady who's been on the rise herself recently, in possession of a locked prize box that won't open till Shogun. Will Jonna take the frustration of her wait out on the Lyoness? Or will the Queen of the Pride get the foothold she deseperately needs?
Getting to Know
Renee Jonae
She's set to face Matsuda yet again, this time for the Womens Championship, and has been doing a lot of impressive PR work recently. Now we follow the Fay Noire in the leadup to Shogun in a main feature spot!
A Young Lion's Den:
Vincent Lyons Jr
His war as part of the Revolutionaries against Ashes of the Wake has been a whirlwind, though maybe focused bigger-picture than his upcoming title shot at Shogun. Last Dystopia he scored a big win over Havoc's follower Nikki Caldwell. Maybe we can get a glimpse of what thoughts lurk under that facepaint on Shogun's eve.
Match Three:
Mad Dog w/ Sunny Jim versus Maggie McIntyre w/ Levi Tsingine
Mad Dog returns to Dystopia at last! Though we're sure he'd rather be doing so with a Shogun spot, as his opponent's partner has. Strong words were exchanged the last time the Wolf and the Blackbird were positioned against the Appalachian men. Strong enough to leave higher-ups curious what will happen if they're put in each others' proximity again on a Dystopian stage.
Philanthropy Spotlight:
Stephanie Matsuda
One of WWH's double champions is known for a far more favorable type of social organizing, and we'll touch base with her on some featured recent efforts in these troubled times, and maybe on how she feels going into two matches at Shogun.
Semi-Main:
Triple Threat
Each team listed picks one entrant for this match, all others barred from ringside. Whoever wins? Their team gets the final entry in a giant Tag Team Chamber Match at Shogun!
Tiger Towers
Shinigami Foundation
Beauty & the Beast
Sermon on the Mount:
Havoc
Our other double champion, also set to defend both his titles at Shogun, stands at a precipice. He's certainly not short on words these days. What fevered ramblings will we get?
Main Event:
Shogun Sudden Death Quarterfinal Triple Threat
Joshua Kaine versus Sah'ta Thor versus Zolton
At last. At long last. Given that another round of round-robin booking would've treated a large chunk of the roster as inanimate obstacle course pieces for these three men, and the potential of a snafu result of more than one of them reaching a fourth point? Management decided that Sudden Death was the way to go. The winner will face Renee Jonae in the Shogun semifinals!
