What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. CHIEF CROWFOOT
As the scene opens, we see "The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom standing in one of the garden/yard areas of the Sanatorium with three guards observing him to make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous or stupid. After a few moments, he wanders to lean against a tree and sits down.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom Nature can be quite interesting at times, right Levi? I mean you actually get to be out in the world and free to wander and roam all you want. But I am sure you already knew that. Life, what is it truly to the average wanderer such as yourself? Life to me is the feeling that I get every time I get to hurt someone in the ring and feel the ichor of my opposition in my hands. Fireflies are just little light sources I use so that I can sneak up on my victims and smash them to oblivion. The breath of the buffalo is just another way of me snuffing it out from someone like you, Levi. The shadows are my favorite place to end lives and whatnot. So I am just going to leave it at that, Mister Levi Tsingine.
Then he stands up and walks over to a bench and sits down as the guards meander over to his present position to make sure he still isn't trying to escape or do anything stupid and/or dangerous.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom Levi, my dear boy; you may think you are a big, bad, and dangerous motherfucker? That is where you are wrong. I live that shit. I am the biggest, baddest, most dangerous and deadly motherfucker here in the Sanatorium. I am more than willing to bleed for this place if I motherfucking have too. I am willing to put my body on the line against some of the supposedly most insane people on the planet. So, be prepared for an Unstoppable Killing Machine heading at you like a Buffalo herd cause this "Machine" ain't going to stop until either my hand is raised or I am SIX FEET DEEP, BITCH! And I wish the best of luck with trying to achieve the latter, cause many have tried and all or most of them have fucking failed horribly or "died" trying.
Then he motions to the guards that he wants to head inside to his cell. The guards oblige him by putting him in the straitjacket and the chains. Then they lead him back inside to the Sanatorium and his cell as the scene fades to black.
(To Death By Anna Akhmatova)
(You'll surely come. So why wait anymore? I'm waiting for you. I am through. My light is out. My doors are open for The simple wonder that is you. So take whatever guise might strike your fancy: Blast chemical weapons through my room, Come quiet as the nightstick of a gangster, Disease my throat with typhus fume, Or be the bedtime story you once told (The one we're sick of every night) That I may see the law's blue cap, the cold House-porter's face in livid fright. I could care less. The Yenisey swirls by, The North Star glimmers overhead, And the blue glint in a beloved eye Goes dark against the final dread.)
This scene opens with "The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom back in his cell sitting in what appears to be a metal chair on what appears to be swivel hinges somewhat bolted to the floor so that they can only move so much. He looks up to see the camera observing him.

(Back again, I see. What more can I say that haven't said already. Life and death are inevitabilities in this crazy place known as the Sanatorium and the planet Earth overall. For you see, while I may be represent Russia for the tourney; my true home and allegiance lies with The Order of The Soulless and we don't have a mortally known base of operations. We operate as cells in most logical sense. For you see Levi, we are a "family" that will quite literally "kill" our opposition to achieve the overarching goals of The Lords of Light and Darkness within the hierarchy of The Order of The Soulless.)
He stands up and stretches for a moment before heading over to the mirror and looking into it.

(They had to specifically design that chair so that I would try and throw it or use it as a weapon against the guards and orderlies. So I try my best to behave when it comes to weaponry. But sometimes bludgeoning someone to the point of exhaustion with a steel chair is bloody fucking enjoyable. Being allowed to use my signature Barby on someone brings me even more joy than a steel chair. If allowed, I would enjoy using it on you, Levi. I would even enjoy seeing you and anyone who stands against me and The Order of The Soulless burn with fireballs and gasoline. But I don't Warden Eden would enjoy that much wonton destruction to her Sanatorium. So I try and limit my "deathly" fun as much as possible.)
Then he violently punches the mirror located in his cell. This causes the mirror to crack a good bit.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom (Death to Everyone that stands against The Order of The Soulless.) (I will be the end of you, Levi Tsingine. Come Sunday Night Sanatorium, your life is forfeit and I will be declared the victor of our Shogun match.) (Be prepared to write your last will and testament, Levi. Cause I will be more than happy to sign any documents for you with your own fucking blood.)
Then he grabs a shard of the broken mirror and starts to cut into his forehead to show the lengths he is willing to go for the win. He turns to now face the camera with an "X" on his forehead.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom (I am going to have so much fun causing you as much as humanly possible, Levi. I hope you have prayed to your ancestors and whatnot. If not, you might have to do that now or as soon as possible, my dear boy.)
Then he stands at attention and does the Russian military salute (this has the right hand, palm down, brought to the right temple, almost, but not quite, touching; the head has to be covered in some fashion.) While he does this, the blood is still trickling a bit some his newest wound.
"The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom (See you Sunday Night, Comrade Levi!)
He smiles devilishly as he grabs a towel and wipes the blood away to show that he willing to do anything to get the job done. Then he sits back down in his chair and starts to ponder how much will enjoy torturing Levi Tsingine in the ring on Sunday Night. Then we see "The Unstoppable Killing Machine" Phantom smile devilishly one more before it fades to black to show its over.

Previously… Blood Moon... efedwwh.proboards.com/post/737 There is static and the idle crunching of leaves under burdened footsteps before the blackened image comes to light. Someone is walking through a forest in full autumn bloom--the vibrant reds, yellows, and orange-hued leaves surround them, along with tangled vines and downed branches. There is a deep and heavy yawn, followed by a softer one before the camera is turned to reveal the figures that are not often parted from the other’s side. Levi Tsingine ambles through a narrow path, carrying the weight of his much slighter companion on his back. He’s without a shirt and her own state of dress speaks to a long night doing things in the woods that neither needed to speak about. The camera suddenly drops and Maggie curses, causing the much taller Tsingine to stop just long enough to stoop so she can grab it from where it fell on the forest floor. “Alright there, Blackbird?” “I got it now, Mai’coh. Keep going.” She sounds beyond exhausted. We see a much better view of the two of them this time, streaked with some sort of dark paint...and the more distinctively iron-brown dried patterns made from blood coating not just her own skin, but his as well. She wipes away the grime and holds it out in front of him, an improvised tripod as he has an opponent to speak to and the journey back to his RV is a long one. Maggie McIntyre rests her cheek against his shoulder as he begins to speak. "What happens in the woods... well, that's for the eyes of those there to witness it, and them only. Phantom, you catch me at an important time, in a way that has nothing and yet everything to do with wrestling.”He pauses for a moment, stooping just enough for Maggie to push a branch up and out of his way with her free hand before continuing. "You yourself are an important opponent, though how so is a little unusual. I don't respect you; yet defeating you cinches in my position in the Shogun tournament semi-finals, which I do respect. But more than that, you're different. My opponents thus far... well, they've all been notably smaller than me, most obviously. But it's not the fact that you're actually bigger than me that gives me pause here.”Levi’s gait through the forest is a steady, sure thing. Each footstep carefully placed, his grip secure under his companion’s knees to keep her safe--we can see a moment or two of her bare feet--caked with muck and grime, scratched and scraped from sharp stones in the earth. But all we can concentrate on is his voice. The indigenous man, one of the few representing his own people and nation in the Shogun tournament, keeps speaking. "It's... this strange... cult? That you find yourself part of? The Order of the Soulless. First of all, I have to wonder what the shill to sign up for that is like. As far as I'm acquainted, losing a soul is a price, or an unfortunate outcome of an accident. A loss of soul being the main premise you're basing an organization on? Well, I guess no one can fault you for not being up front about the cost. And you're an Order, so you're a religious group. For those with no souls.“I could chase circles of logic on this being something akin to 'Jumbo Shrimp' all day, but let's get to the part that matters. What the sam hell do you people even do? I mean other than lose wrestling matches?”He has to pause, momentarily interrupted by a quiet snickering from his companion. Tsingine raises an amused eyebrow at her before Maggie mumbles a swift apology for the interruption and Levi continues his train of thought. "You come at me with this front of vaguely religion-driven conquest. That rouses something in me that the other competitors in this tournament haven't gotten until now. Mad Dog very nearly got it-- or rather, Sonny Jim running his mouth, really. Turtle Island never needed your gods, be they Jehovah or 'of darkness and light'. This world is alive with energy; only a fool would beg and scrape their knee to a deity for access to something that's all around him. And only a fool would flit away their own power of existence-- their soul-- for what? If it was to win a wrestling tournament? You need to make better life decisions. But more importantly, you're owed a refund.”The trail before them diverts and he pauses for a moment, clearly using his memory of their travels from last night to find the correct path back to his RV. We see Maggie point down the left side just as the memory of it comes back to him. He follows the narrow prey trail, nodding his head to a recently felled branch--the splintered cracks at the base are testament to just how freshly felled it is. His companion lets out a contented sigh and adjusts her arm to better catch his face as he speaks. "And while you say 'of Darkness and Light', I think we can see that you lot tend towards the darker side of things. To that I say... fair 'nough. You want to play in the dark, moniyaw? We've got plenty of darkness. You don't hear about it because it's taboo to speak of it-- at all. That's the kind of darkness you're approaching here. Primal. Primordial. The real guts of life. But that's the real truth, spiritually, right?"All too soon, the path widens and opens to the small clearing that holds their camping chairs and fire pit, the RV parked just a few yards further. Levi swings Maggie around with ease, holding her in his arms before gently setting her down in one of the chairs. His wolfskin coat is retrieved from his chair and placed around her shoulders to ward off the chill of the early morning. "See... you think your Order has you seeing things clearly, I'd assume. It's what things like Orders do. But you're really looking out the badly-glazed window of a sheltered abbey. That's your view, and you're calling it the world."The night has been a long one. The last embers of their fire are nearly spent. She continues to film him from the chair, following him as he traverses their campsite to the RV, opening up the passenger door to retrieve a bag. Levi comes back to her, kneeling down before his blackbird. Maggie leans over, using the kickstand on her phone case to prop it on the little camping table between their chairs. She takes the bag, pressing her forehead to his. “What about what he can’t see? What about when he learns there is no order to the world? Will you show him, like you showed me?” "Would you want me to show him what I showed you?A mischievous grin tugs at the corners of her mouth. “Maybe not everything.” His eyes lower, and he hums for a moment. "First I have to crack that big old head of his wide open. Else he won't see his misstep. Yes, yes, I have a use for him..."
