{Scene Start: The camera opens up and we find ourselves looking at the the familiar faces of both Uiriamu Minami and Jacob Striker as "Wrestling's Hottest Property" is facing the camera with his hands in front of his face in praying like position while his partner and best friend in Striker has his back to the camera and from the general body language of both men, neither one is in a good mood at all)
Uri:
You know there comes a time when patience runs so thin that thin ice looks thicker. A time when sane men go crazy and madmen go *SANE*.
This, my dear friends, is such a time.
You see last week, I publicly called out Havok, Christopher Sabertooth...whomever you want to call him...for a straight fist to fist, blood for blood and not some god damn title match...definite money to get those buy rates up for Dystopia over the Nuthouse and what happens...yet another tag match instead?
{Uri shakes his head slowly while rolling his eyes}
Uri:
Maybe this is just a test from the powers that be in which this week, my partner and I fight the former tag team champions in a match to determine the number one contenders...maybe I’ll get my match NEXT week, but having said that...Serenity, Jocelyn. You two are in some serious danger this week.
You see, my partner recently had an epiphany of sorts and with that epiphany comes realization and with that realization comes fury, and with fury...comes understanding. You trained with Jake, you watched your sensei take this rough, unpolished stone and made a gem out of him...what happened elsewhere recently, took that gem and turned into a golem. And the two of you are the first two poor souls that have been placed in front of him and for a shot at gold no less.
Now at Dystopia not only will you have to face off against wrestling’s hottest property that is myself, Uiriamu Minami! One of the best damn if not THE best damn striker in this entire promotion and that means that you won’t be getting any of these love tap that a lot of these fuckers on this seem to enjoy throwing around because I throw the real thing, I have worked too hard to earn the qualifications that I have for my shit to be considered anything less and that’s not bragging, but the God’s honest truth because when I kick someone, they feel in their spine and in the heart because that is the mark of a real striker, and at Dystopia when the two think to start throwing kicks at me...just understand that I’m not holding back because *WE* deserve to not only become the top contenders to the tag team titles...but we also deserve to BE the champions for this company because unlike teams we have the fire, the passion, and the fury to back up everything that we can do in that fucking ring.
{Uri lowers his hands from this face and turns to regard the camera fully}
Uri:
The time for mocking us...that’s gone. We’ve been long enough, fought hard enough, bleed enough here for this company that we demand the respect due because we are two of the hardest workers that never get the headlines because of lazy motherfuckers...just like Pridelands Punks.
And our taking the respect, starts at Dystopia….and the two of you, for that I am sorry but we’re done being hungry for this company.
Tell ‘em, Jake.
{The camera then moves away from Uri and moves in on Jacob who takes a deep breath and slowly turns to face the camera with a hard look on his face, his ice blue eyes now like twin chips of ice}
Jacob:
We came to this company around this time last year, I was told a great many things such as I would be the Affliction champion hands down by the twenty twenty shogun’s cup.
Heh.
I think the former owner of this company was a bit off with his claims because I’m still right here, slugging it out with the rest of the dregs here in Night City. Busting bones and sweating my ass off for my pay... and it’s true, Uri and myself are two of the hardest workers in this company and all that we have ever wanted was an honest chance.
But instead, we keep getting held down so that...certain privileged pricks can keep their spots, and I will be taking care of him soon enough but for right now I have to face facts on one thing that bothers me to no end and that’s the fact that this week, I have to fight the Dynamic Duo yet again and those are two women that I know all too well and they know me just as well.
But there within lays the rub because even though we’ve trained together...we’re not the same people then that we are now because while the two of you have grown in leaps and bounds to claim the skies above for your very own...I’ve kept to the ground and held it for my own and I’ve had people in other companies say that I’m the junior heavyweight that hits like a super heavyweight and that’s good because that is just how hard I work my ass off to be the best in the world.
But at Dystopia, all of that hard work and effort will become evident as Uri and myself are going to earn our shot at the Soulless Sisters and stake our claim on the World Wrestling Headquarters world tag team championships because we’ve waited long enough for this to happen and at Dystopia it’s time for us to finally take that exact shot.
Soulless Sisters, I hope that you’ll be watching this match because the two of you need to take note because we’re not here to play games anymore, because the end times are coming for you and they are coming soon for those bright shiny titles of yours that will go perfectly around our sexy waists...while you join others in the pit of ashes below with weaklings like Jon Sloan.
Dynamic Duo, Jocelyn….Serenity...I hope that you’re ready as well for what’s to come because tonight at Dystopia it’s going to be a bloody war between two teams of the best trained wrestlers in all of creation, not only are we going to show the entire front office why the four of us should be the main event, we’re going to show them that we *ARE* the main event from now on.
And while in the deepest pit of my heart I wish it was against someone other than the two of you...I’m going to take solace in knowing that unlike a lot of these bitches here in this company that you’ll be kicking my ass twice as hard because it is the two of you...so don’t expect any real mercy from me.
Uri:
Enough talk, see you ladies in the ring.
{The camera fades to black}

Dystopia Promo #1
“Second Chances” Serenity sighed as she sat on her knees before her father’s gravestone. It’s been seven years since his passing but yet the pain still existed. Her father died doing what he loved - wrestling in the squared circle. The man he fought - a protege - knew he wasn’t in the best condition. Serenity’s mother used to plead with her husband about retirement. Maybe it was the thrill of the competition or the fame that kept The Black Scorpio in the ring. Maybe he preferred to be on the road over being around his own family. These were the things that plagued Serenity for many years. It was enough of a disturbance to affect her school grades and life choices. It altered her perception of pro wrestling to the point that she wanted nothing to do with it. She hung out with the wrong crowds and continuously broke curfew. There was a point where she felt like her mother wanted to give up; But, deep within, wrestling was in Serenity’s blood. She always wanted to keep close to the industry, even when she resented it. Stephanie Matsuda - another protege - saw this and found a way to anchor her to the business that she loved but took everything from her. She realized that she had to embrace her fear in order to unlock her athletic potential. Or that’s at least what Stephanie told her. Along the way, she was introduced to Jocelyn and now here they were. Serenity’s hand ran across the gravestone as if there was some glimmer of hope that he would come back. In reality, there was no going back. There would be no more trips to Coney Island or Six Flags. No more bedtime stories. It would just be her trying to live out her family’s legacy by following in her father’s footsteps. This was indeed something she wanted, but things weren’t fairing as much as she thought. Dynamic Duo just lost their tag belts in WWH and in EWC they haven’t achieved as much success as they hoped. Stephanie told them to not worry and that they will find another avenue to success. While Jocelyn was more optimistic, Serenity was wondering if she still had what it takes to remain in this business. The love was there, but she was wondering if she has what it takes. Normally, Serenity would discuss things that were on her mind, but for her, there was nothing worth saying. Dynamic Duo suffered a gigantic loss against the The Soulless Sisters. They were close in their last match, but close wasn’t good enough. The Sisters got their revenge. Maybe Stephanie was right. Maybe the girls just needed time to adjust. Serenity stood up in front of the grave and shook her head. “I’ll see you, next time dad,” she said softly before walking away, quietly sobbing. ----- Jocelyn knew Serenity wasn’t in the best of moods. When Stephanie found out that she wasn’t coming to the Cloud Nine Center opening ceremony, so immediately understood. She knew what it was like to fight the ones you love. The Daughter of the Scorpion didn’t need to express any words to show those closest to her how she was feeling. Visiting her father’s grave didn’t help things either. Between losing the tag titles and what Dynamic Duo needs to do in order to get them back, Jocelyn knew it was an emotional time for her tag partner. Serenity was currently inside the dojo, hitting the heavy bag, lost in thought. Jocelyn quietly did her work out as The Duo were the only two remaining in the gym. Stephanie and Monica had to prepare for the special dinner tonight at the CNC, and in two days the girls would have to fight someone they both cared about, albeit in different ways. Jocelyn didn’t know how deep Serenity’s relationship with Jacob went. She knew they went on a few dates, but something told her that she cared for him more than she let on. Stephanie talked planned but she decided to hold off until the match was over. Win or lose, The War Queen felt like Serenity needed to hear the words coming from her mouth. For now, though, she advised the girls to focus on their match. Jacob Striker and Uiriamu Minami was not a team you could take lightly. Both girls knew this going into the match, but as much as Serenity cared for Jacob, Jocelyn knew that Serenity wanted the tag belts around their waists again. Somewhere in that match against The Soulless Sisters, they screwed up. They underestimated the competition and paid the price. This time the girls wouldn’t make the same mistake. They’ve taken on Uirimau before with his previous team. Only now this time, they were also fighting a frustrated Jacob who seemed to have developed quite the edge as of late. Serenity stopped working out and walked over to a bench to relax. Jocelyn decided to follow suit and sit next to her sister-in-arms. Serenity sighed as she passed Jocelyn a water bottle. She took a sip and placed it down before speaking. Jocelyn Sky: I’m not going to pull teeth from your mouth, but do you just want to go straight to the promo?Serenity silently nodded as she drank from her own bottle. Jocelyn took out her phone and started to record. Jocelyn: Well, it looks like we’re getting a second chance. First off, I’d like to apologize to all of our Dynamics who were supporting us. We let you guys down and you can trust and believe that we won’t do it again. We’re not going to lie- this upcoming match is a difficult one for us. We’ll be facing someone we trained beside, someone we call a friend...and Uirimau Minami. Serenity Scorpio: Be it friend, relative, or otherwise, we’re going to redeem ourselves and prove that we’re the top tag team in WWH. There’s no excuse for dropping the ball the way we did. The Soulless Sisters were ready for us, and no to be ready for them we have to take on the number one ranked non-title tag team in the fed. We’re not idiots - we know you boys worked hard to make it this far. But Joce and I have been beside each other for a long time. While the two of you struggled up and down the card, we remained firmly planted near the top, trying to dethrone the Diamond Dogs. I wasn’t our fault when everything fell apart. We tried our best to be the champs that this division wanted us to be, but nobody anticipated a six-month reign without a defense. But now in the new WWH, on the new Dystopia, we see the positive changes occurring around us. Joce and I are determined to be apart of that change. We want to punch our ticket to a rightful rematch and prove that there’s a reason we defeated The Soulless Sisters over a year ago. We’re the better team, boys. We want this more because we understand what it means to work as one. We have a second chance hanging over us and you can bet your ass that we’re going to seize the moment.Jocelyn: Jacob, we like you. You’ve tasted tag glory before, but unfortunately you’re crossing paths with us. We didn’t want it to boil down you and us, but once we saw your team in the number one ranking, we knew fighting you was inevitable. As for you Uri, we put you behind us when we and Stephanie took care of Team Junon. Maybe you feel like this is the next phase of your life or whatever, but your fresh new start isn’t going to happen on Sunday, sweets. This isn’t a fairy tale, boys. You have The Ashes of the Wake nipping at your heels and you think you can take them on? Fending off Nikki and Havoc is going to take the kind of cohesive expertise that the two of you can only dream of. Maybe the Sisters can do it, and we’re sure we definitely can give them a run for their money. But you guys? We’re your ultimate test as far as we’re concerned.Serenity: As much as we care for at least one of you, this is business for us. You boys proved how serious you can be, now it’s time for us to bare our fangs. And you can believe this isn’t just for you guys either. This is to send a message to The Soulless Sisters. This is to let them know that we’re coming for them. And after we send you back down the rankings, you can trust and believe that payback’s gonna be a bitch. Jocelyn walked up to the camera with a serious expression on her face. Serenity smiled as she joined her. The two stood next to one another as a single unit. Dynamic Duo: And that boys? That’s dynamic. The camera slowly fades to black.
